Caribbean Isle, Melbourne FL

When we moved in February 2023 we had HUGE issues with our unit. Requiring new flooring, drywall, and paint - previous tenants kenneled their dogs in the closets and they never saw outside. Maintenance fought to get everything fixed, we still can’t use one closet and management did nothing to offer to fix the situation. We were stuck in our lease.

The company sold the complex and everything quickly went downhill. Trash everywhere, dog park unusable as it’s mainly a poop yard, dog stations overflowing with poop bags and never restocked.

To drive in the neighborhood means you must be able to qualify for Daytona 500 - speed limit is 10mph but no one goes under 30mph. Potholes are huge, and most people dodge and zig zag to avoid hitting them.

There is no management to oversee maintenance, grounds or office. Increased rates for apartments that have not properly been maintained or cared for. This complex is not worth investing in monthly.

Absolutely horrendous treatment of residents with issues by management. Attempted to have a conversation to solve a problem that arose from an issue that was 100% on the property management. And was explicitly stated as an issue by them. Instead was rudely spoken down to and told that it’s not their problem.

If you want the bare minimum this is the place for you. Don’t be mad when they don’t take care of you because they could care less about the residents and their loved ones (pets). Dog park is straight sand and the maintenance is lazy and does the bare minimum to fix things if it isn’t broken they won’t replace it to say the absolute least. And don’t expect them to clean up after themselves.

We have lived in Caribbean Isle for four years, and we have had a great experience. Aliesha at the front office is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She really makes you feel like you're part of the family. Also, the maintenance team is outstanding, especially Brian. Any time something needs to be fixed, they are there very quickly. They are always courteous and knowledgeable. They get any issues resolved in no time. It's a clean, safe, beautiful place to live, and I would definitely recommend it.

I moved to Carribean Isle apartments in February. I am beyond grateful that they have an amazing team. When I request a work order they respond very quickly. I would recommend these apartments to my friends and I have done so.

Recently Moved here and found a listing for Caribbean Isle on-line. When I contacted their office, the one I wanted was already leased, however Ryan, one of the leasing agents, went over what was available and helped me find a suitable apartment here. Time was a factor for us, and they moved us along very smoothly and quickly!

The apartments are a little older but are very well maintained and appropriately priced. They are pet friendly (with normal fees, etc) and have some amenities on site (Pool, Gym, Laundry Facility) The staff is the best part, they are friendly and bend over backwards to help. If you are looking for a nice apartment centrally located in Melbourne Florida, I recommend looking them up.

EDIT: I ended up living at Caribbean Isle for 2 years while waiting on my house to get built. I would still recommend them. They are a great little apartment complex right in central Melbourne, and at no time did I have any major issues. It was quiet, well maintained and if there was an issue they were johnny on the spot to fix it. Do be on the look out for random golf balls from errant drives, though! (lol)

Exterior looks great up on first glance. The more you look the cheaper everything seems. If you live in one of the apartments with no trees in front the A/C will definitely not keep up with heat. Some days it would be 80 degrees in the apt.

Went today to do a tour of the property. Skye was very helpful and very informative with all my questions.

My son and I love it! Going on 2 years. We haven’t had but a few small troubles and the staff & Maintenance are fantastic! Charlie came out on a Sunday to assess, maybe 15 minutes after the call, and then called me the next morning to see if everything was ok. John came to fix the ceilings after checking with us to see what time would be good. Awesome, friendly, and make living here such a pleasure
