Caribbean & Soule Restaurant reviews
14Solid 3.5. Came here for lunch and the owners were super hospitable and was helpful with offering suggestions for our stay. The food was good, wasn't the best we've had and the portion sizes were a bit smaller than other places we've been to.
Great food. I ordered the jerk shrimp with fried plantains and beans and rice. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Best Caribbean food I’ve had outside of the islands. Highly recommend! Beef Pattie’s and Jerk chicken were authentic. I also got beans/rice, collards and Mac n chz and they were ALL great! Extremely well seasoned and fresh.
We love this family-owned and operated restaurant and so when my mother passed we hired them to do our catering for her memorial. Food was excellent, all the guests loved it, especially the plantains and jerk pork. Highly recommend.
The BEST curried goat! It is fall of the bone, cooked with love and will leave you wanting seconds! This family owned restaurant is an absolute gem and gets my repeat business! It is my go to for amazing food!
I had the Jamaican beef patty and crab cake it was so good the staff was so nice I’m definitely coming back!
After driving all day from New Orleans, Boy was I hungry but believe me when I tell you Caribbean & Soule Restaurant did not miss with these Oxtails, Rice & Peas, and Greens. All the food had flavor and needed nothing extra. I did put sone hot sauce on my greens because that’s what I like. Had to get my favorite flavor when it comes to drinks Ms. Carli was very nice and friendly with her customer service! So that was a Double Win for me. I would go back again to try something else.
This is my first time trying them my mom introduced me to this restaurant and baby I WILL be back everything is so seasoned the employees are so nice and funny too. They did there big one with this: ’)
My favorite Caribbean restaurant!
I ordered 2 curry chicken lunch specials with rice, beans, broccoli, sweet plantains. Mmm soo good! Fell off the bone
Next time I’ll take a photo of the food to post on here. I ate it too fast. The ladies that were working were the sweetest! Such great company. I will definitely be coming back.
The food was amazing! The oxtail is the best I’ve had in a restaurant setting in a very long time. The beef patties were delicious and fresh. All the food is made with love. The owner/front desk lady said her mother worked in the kitchen and I could tell!
My husband and I visited during a weekend trip and we had to come back before we left. The second time with a large group. Everyone enjoyed their meal from snapper, curry goat, jerk chicken and more. Don’t forget to ask for extra jerk sauce on the side.
This place was absolutely amazing, hands down best jerk chicken I’ve ever had. I waited so long to try it and finally went. I regret that I didn’t go sooner to be honest. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food in this review.
This place will amaze your taste buds!
Atmosphere wasn't great but I did want to lower the rating. Food was very impressive. Flavorful and cooled to perfection!
Update: tried again after giving it 5 months between my last review. My ackee and saltfish was so salty and mushy, completely inedible. The roti was rock hard. Terrible.
I've been coming here for years. I was one of the first customers when they opened. I have enjoyed the curry goat, oxtail, ackee and saltfish, fried chicken and have tried all of their sides. The owner is so sweet. I have never had an issue before today.
I was so excited to bring my husband and children since I have only gone on my own. We waited an hour for our food, got served way after people who arrived after us. My son had some nasty food particles floating in his water (sent it back), and the server was aloof and inattentive. The cabbage and mac and cheese was different than usual (bland, under seasoned. Mac used to have herbs in it and no black pepper or spice in cabbage) and they were out of a lot of options. The oxtail, goat and chicken were all good but not worth what I paid. I was disappointed after spending $120, we only go out like this as a family every three weeks, so we saved to spend this type of money. I like the owner enough to not ask for a refund but the people working for her are driving her restaurant into a hole.
