Caribe Beach Resort, Sanibel FL

Everything we needed including a balcony for our bikes.they also had free bikes to ride and beach chairs. Steps from the beach. Great location

We had a wonderful stay. Laura and Jaime were excellent. Making sure we had anything we needed before and during our stay. There are many beautiful places to stay at Sanibel. And when that place adds the helpfulness of those little things that nowadays seem to be far removed. Well then, it makes a place more than beautiful. And this is Caribe Beach Resort. I can't remember when we got so much attention from the staff just to make sure we were there to do what we were there to do, "Relax, relax and more relax". As for location, it's down the road from the general store and other shops and services. So you don't have too spend much time driving (5 minutes tops). It's also a 3 minutes drive to the J N Darling national wildlife refuge trail head. You can also take the bike that they have and be in any of these locations in 10 to 20 minutes depending on how you ride. I recommend riding it slow so you take in the mood. Thank you ladies for your attention to the little things in life that truly matter.

We have been coming here for many years. The staff is pleasant and helpful. It is low key and laid back. The grounds are well maintained. This is a timeshare property (units are owned by the week).

I can't say enough about it! I love everything about Caribe Resort! I feel at home. Room smells clean, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has all that we need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are also barbecue grills! And the location is absolutely perfect! Ty

My favorite getaway in Florida. Right on the Beach. Resort is small, old fashion and not luxurious, but has immaculate ground and a great pool and hot tub. Office personnel are amazing. I love Caribe.

Sanibel is a beautiful, laid back place with lots of great restaurants, and Caribe Beach Resort’s location is great. It is on the beach, mid-island so within 10 minutes of everything. The people working here are very helpful and friendly, especially Jerry. The landscaping is lush and beautiful. The bikes you can use to ride around the island are in good shape. The place is quaint. We rated this place 3 stars because the rooms REALLY need updated. The kitchenette is in pet good shape except The dishwasher in the unit is rusted inside (not washing the dishes we’re using in there!), the coffee pot warming plate was rusted. The rug in the living room is matted down, the ice maker and air conditioning makes all kinds of noise (they do work though!), the patio sliding door takes super strength to open. The room has a Murphy bed with sheets that are super thin and scratchy, and the mattress is really uncomfortable. The bathroom is so small you can barely close the door without getting into the tub first. The pool and hot tub are a good size for a property this size but both could use cleaned. The tables on the pool deck are falling apart. The garbage cans around the property could use emptied more often, especially the one by the beach entrance. There are left over pieces of wood, 2x4s, between the “A” building and the beach entrance. We will probably not come back unless they update the rooms and fix several issues, and if we did, we will not rent the studio room again.

Great place to stay! However, do not expect a luxury hotel. BUT expect everything you could need for a nice beach trip to be there! You can use their bikes, their beach chairs, and also the rooms comes fully furnished so you don’t have to worry about what to cook on or eat off of. Which was very nice! No paper plates!

Only “surprise” had was a Murphy bed. Was not expecting that! But altogether very nice stay!

Love it because it's right on the beach but it could use some upgrades and cleanliness

We really enjoyed our stay. We had an efficiency with a "Murphy" bed and a pull out sofa. Perfect sized room for the three of us. Staff were very professional and accomodating. Look forward to coming back.

Beautiful place to stay. Close to the ocean. Grounds are beautiful. Great pool. Convenient to restaurants. Staff is great. I left my fitbit at the pool it was turned into office by another guest. Caribe mailed it back to me. Thank You for that. This is our third time staying there. I will definitely return. It is a very relaxing resort.

Old school quiet and charm. Extreme peace and relaxation. Great place to unplug and unwind. Staff are super friendly. Beach, grills, pool, beach, and quiet. Perfect!

I spent the July 4th weekend here and loved it. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin, which was very clean and quiet. The grounds were lovely and nicely manicured. Easy path to the beach. I wish I took a picture of the cabin, but I did catch this gopher turtle having breakfast outside our porch. I’d stay here again in my next visit.

It’s a little old, but they keep it up to date pretty well. You can see the ocean from any room and walk straight out to the beach from the resort in seconds! The staff are amazing and they have free bikes to ride around the island. Also, there’s a pool and hot tub if it’s not a great beach day.

I’m looking for a nice place but when I can’t get a price and it says, call resort for pricing, I just keep scrolling. I feel like they need to talk you into staying there.
