Caribe Royale Orlando reviews
19Was there for Animal Con. Was a lot of fun. Food prices are not outrageous unless you go to their fancy restaurant. Every hotel staff member I talked to was super nice and helpful. I have already told my sisters about this hotel and that they should bring their families.
Always a great stay! On-site restaurants have a good selection of food. Minutes from Disney entrance.
Our go to place to hide from all the stupid hurricanes that come for us constantly. Everyone's always so kind and understands the stressful situation (yearly it seems) My kids love this hotel and they are kind to our little dog as well. The front desk, bar staff and restaurant staff are terrific as well, and the room is always clean.
Great food and service.
Just be cautious.a 18$ service charge is put on the bill after you hand over the CC.so watch the amount
I can't give the 5 star because there was a small odor coming from the shower drain every time I took a shower and the Asian lady at the fitness center was more interested on talking to a young female working with her than renting us a bike.other than that everything else was in point from the food, to the bell boys, calypso staff, pool area staff, housekeeping and room service, everyone else I spoke to was super friendly and made me feel they really enjoy their jobs. Top notch customer service with the exception of that one person I mentioned at the fitness center.
Stayed for conference and was really surprised they have absolutely no indoor dining for lunch. All three inside facilities are closed for lunch, which is not only inconvenient, but a huge waste of facility space. Most people left to other nearby restaurants for lunch. Would be easy enough to have Tropicale and Rum Bar open for lunch.
A good room, but there was only one restaurant open for a very expensive breakfast or an equally expensive Starbucks
A 3.5 would be most accurate. Stayed here with a conference and the conference facilities were good, banquet food was good, liquor choices in 1 regard was sub par (Canadian Club is terrible, and never should be considered at a resort as a premium anything except for washing auto parts, this coming from a Canadian)
The resort areas were nice, staff was great, front desk was expedient and quick.
The food in the resort was good. Didn't use the buffet but heard from many it was overpriced. Drinks through out are very overpriced.
Having several large groups and then shutting down your pool bar at 9pm and rum bar early does your customers a disservice in a major way
Rooms were nice, although the King Suite seems a little disjointed in the floor plan, but no major issues.
The biggest negative is the bed/pillow combination. This was a 1 star at best. I've stayed at many hotels around the world and the comfort of your bed and pillow is on par with a hotel in japan, meaning you might as well be sleeping on plywood. Each morning I woke up with hip and shoulder pain from a terrible mattress and your pillows offer little to no plushness or ability to combine two for better comfort, being that you provide 4 body style pillows. My neck is still hurting as I write this 2 days later and a trip to a chiropractor is in order due to your beds. A major disappointment in that regard.
My husband and I came to Caribe Royale and our stay was amazing. Not only did we love the hotel and pool but Jonathan at Calypso, who’s name tag said he was from Apopka, went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had a great time. Jonathan deserves a raise. Multiple times throughout the day he checked on us and helped us and answered our questions. He was so kind! We came as customers and left as friends who will be back many times all because of Jonathan!
We booked this hotel seeing great reviews online. When we checked in we saw a beautiful lobby and we’re hopeful the room would be nice. We had a villa. The villa was dated and it seemed like everyone staying in them had three families in one room. The people directly above us partied every night until 3 am waking us and our kids up. The pool area is really nice, but overall this hotel should be 2.5 stars at most.
I recently stayed at the Caribbean Royale Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The updated bedrooms were not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly comfortable, thanks to the plush beds. The serene atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax, and the refreshing pool was a delightful addition to unwind by. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of comfortable chairs around the pool area, making it easy to soak up the sun.
One of the standout features was the reasonable pricing, which offered great value for the quality of the stay. The friendly and helpful staff added a welcoming touch to the overall experience, and having restaurants on-site made dining convenient and enjoyable.
I can confidently say that I would choose to stay at the Caribbean Royale Hotel again in the future. It truly offers everything I look for in a relaxing getaway, and it's a hidden gem for those seeking a memorable and affordable vacation.
All in all this was a beautiful stay. The only thing I would recommend is eating off site. Especially disappointed in the $27 dollar all you can eat breakfast buffet at Tropical, their morning restaurant there. The bacon and sausage was tough and seemed of low quality. The scrambled eggs, flavorless, the fruit looked wonderful but absolutely horrible. The orange didn't even taste like an orange. The potatoes au gratin was good. The hot chocolate taste like hot water more than chocolate. Their restaurant Calypso was good. Just wouldn't recommend the jerk chicken wrap. No jerk seasoning could be detected, very bland but the Grouper Sandwich was excellent! Stay there for the beauty and service. Just eat off site. The Indian restaurant right across the street is excellent and of course. Disney Springs is just a hop, skip and a jump away!
It was an amazing place to stay. I can't even describe it you have to see it to believe it. I thought I was in a condo it felt very homey.
I went for a conference. The place is big, you need a golf cart to get around lol Well maintained, pool was pretty but not heated when I went, it was pretty cold. Drinks are pricey, guests should a discount, but well made.
Currently staying here now and so impressed with the recent renovations! The resort has really "leveled up" and is on par with the "luxury" brand names in Orlando. The rooms are beautiful and the amenities are also elevated. The place will get even better once the stadium and quick service restaurant opens. This will definitely become our staycation resort of choice from now on!
Very disappointed in the value for money in hotel. We were in a 2 bedroom villa. Cannot tell you how musty and damp this room was. Upgrades cannot hide the age of the hotel
At dinner at the Venetian, ($60 a plate magical meal), they neglected to bring my wife’s entree out!
We had to ask and they sheepishly said they would check into it.
They actually brought desert before they attempted to bring her entree that we declined!
Dinner was $400 and they offered 10% discount.
Beware…very poor experience
Hands down the BEST place to be with the family! I must give a shout out of AWESOMENESS pool side service to Stephen from Brooklyn - Caribe you have ONE fine employee who gives it 1000% to make sure your guests are comfortable and having the best time. He charisma is totally amazing by far we have ever met. We wish him the best and we will be back again soon:)
What an amazing resort.from the service to the villas.wow
Recommend for business and definitely pleasure (family)
Great budget friendly option. Kid friendly but still enjoyable if you don't have kids
