Carolina's Cuban Cafe, Port Richey FL

Real authentic Cuban food. The Cafe Con Leche is good too. Everything is made fresh to order. Their Cuban's rival the Columbia restaurant, and the roast pork actually tastes fresher. I also really like their beef with the pepper and onions. I forget the Cuban name.

This place is delicious and it’s really clean inside every time I pick up my order. The roasted Pork and cubans are dynamite.

We went after finding your restaurant on Google. We split the sampler platter. I had the rope vieja with white rice and black beans and tostones. My fiancé had the lechon asado with white rice and black beans and yuca. All the portions are huge and everything was wonderful. We will definitely be going back in the near future.

So yummy. Absolute soul food. Carolina was so awesome to my mom and I. Ropa Vieja and Garlic chicken were just oozing flavor and so juicy. Love it!

My family and I have been eating here since we moved here from Miami. As Cubans, we love the food and order food from here often. We are always treated like family and are so happy to have this restaurant around. It was the first place to give me a taste of home. My favorite restaurant around here, that's for sure.

Our meals were fabulous. You could taste the flavors of the entrees, Amazing is a word to describe cubano. Best one I have had and I have been to a few Cuban restaurants.

What a great little hidden gem. I live around the block and after having a hankering for a real cuban sandwich I found the place was less than a mile away. I ordered two cubans and was so stuffed while eating the first I had to save the other for the next day's lunch. Great place and people. I highly recommend.

Awesome food new location is nice and a lot larger than their last place. Their food is delicious we had the Cuban sandwiches they were delicious and had plenty of meat in them they do not skimp out good portions. Highly recommend.

This is a great little hidden gem. The food was flavorful and filling. The staff recommended a couple different things and they were delicious. The shredded pork with yellow rice was great.

Food is very good, but service leaves a lot to be desired! They may figure it out! FOOD is still very good but patience is a virtue!

I normal would give Carolina's a 5 star rating. The food is good and the waitresses have always been nice. However this time I am not. We stopped in to have a quick lunch and I ordered my usual. No problems there now I say we because it was my boyfriend and myself. We decided to share the meal I picked because I never eat all my food and I ordered a dinner meal so it was a large portion. We did order separate drinks and only used the plates the food was brought to us on so nothing additional then as if I came alone. When we cashed out I was shocked to see they charged Mr $2.00 in addition to my meal and drinks for sharing the meal I already paid for with my boyfriend. No warning, nothing written on the menu just added the addition to my bill. So I questioned it and when I did the man in the back I can only assume one of the owners tried saying for extra expenses. WHAT? We were not advised and we didn't use anything additions we used tge plates ect that the meal came on. I felt like this was so unethical of them and really taking advantage of their customers. I will not be eating there again that for sure. The bill for one meal and two drinks was 29 dollars so they have increased their prices understandable but this was not.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich to go. We were welcomed by 2 happy employees with awesome attitudes, ordered and waited. And waited. Took a while and it was not a full house. I noticed at least 2 cooks and 2 servers and other customers also waited a while. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The Cuban was very good. I will be back to try more despite the wait time because it was clean and bright and the staff very nice.

Amazing food and friendly service! 100% recommend for authentic cuban food! Also coffee is delicious! Generous servings and authentic drinks and desserts also!

The food is good and the prices are fair but the bad service ruins it. I will not come back. Both waitresses threw the food on my table, never made eye contact, and never checked up on me not even once. They didn't ask me if everything was ok/if I needed a refill. The only time she came was with the bill as if they wanted me to leave. Please train your service staff to provide better customer service. Without customers you have no business.

This quaint family-owned Cuban restaurant is a nice little place to go for some tasty Cuban food! I had a Carolina Sandwich, and it was not lacking on toppings! Flavor was good, and was tasty. Everyone else is my party has more traditional dishes, and they throughly enjoyed the portions and the flavor of their meals.
It's not fancy, but more homely, and a decent place to stop in for a meal.

Great good - fantastic prices. Friendly service. Came for a dual birthday lunch with my mom and a family friend. We all loved it. Will be back.

Great service! Clean fresh looking establishment! We were super happy with the price and quality of food. It's nice because we don't really have places like this here. I wouldn't have known about it if I didn't see a positive review on face book, we will definitely be back!
