Carrabba's Italian Grill, Delray Beach FL

I was there on Saturday the 26 of August, first the restaurant was empty, the problem was the waitress wasn't pleasant at all, it seems like she didn't really want serving us, she wasn't taking the plates while we were done, it was another waitress who saw that and came took them off the table, even when she brought the check, the entrée plates were still on the table, she did a very poor job, wasn't polite at all, no smiling to her face. I've been to many Carrabba's before, but that one is not a welcoming to black people.
My boyfriend and I will never go back to that place.

I recently dined with my family at this CARRABBAS restaurant. The food, the service and the atmosphere were absolutely the best. Arianna our waitress took our order and she was so very pleasant, helpful and attentive. As was the rest of the serving team. And Tim Gaydosh the restaurant manager came by to say hello and asked if everything was ok. He chatted a while and thanked us for dinning at his restaurant. What a great experience!

I reached out to Carrabba's regarding this experience over a month ago because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and not have to leave this review but they have still not responded after me reaching out twice.

The service my family received on Father's Day at the Delray location was honestly horrific. I called ahead to make a reservation and was advised that we had a RESERVATION for 6pm. Upon arriving, the hostess stated that the wait time was 45min and that my reservation wasn't there. I called twice earlier to confirm what I was told to be a reservation for 6pm so I nicely asked the hostess to check as I confirmed it with employees prior. She ran away flustered and DID NOT COME BACK to the hostess stand for over FIFTEEN minutes. She intentionally avoided my family and kept rolling her eyes at us as if we did something extremely terrible to her. We ended up having to walk out because absolutely NO ONE attended to us. Mind you, the couple behind us who walked in and were not greeted also left. The hostess who was working around 6pm should not be there. The entire 15 minutes, she INTENTIONALLY avoided us and could be seen walking around the restaurant back and forth with her arms up in the air and doing NOTHING. She even walked behind the takeout stand pretending to be on the phone just to avoid the hostess stand and helping my family and others who were waiting to be seated. I saw her walk towards another employee mouthing what looked like "I quit". In the mean time, the hostess stand was left unattended and not a single other employee/manager came to help. It was truly HORRIBLE customer service and inexcusable. Not a single manager looked over to help either. Also, the restaurant was basically EMPTY and not busy at all. Our Father's Day was ruined and my whole family was so upset. Until this time, we have never had a bad experience at Carrabba's, the food may be good but it doesn’t make up for the bitter taste in my mouth after this encounter. The hostess was so rude, another man came over to TRY to get her attention as he was waiting even longer than us and the hostess proceeded to tell him SHE DIDN'T CARE about his bad mood and walked away refusing to help. If you have this kind of person as your hostess, this speaks volumes about how much service here has changed recently. I really am not one to leave bad reviews because I understand bad days happen to us all. But this treatment was really inexcusable and ruined our Father's Day, my dad was really upset because we loved Carrabba's up until then and hadn't had a bad experience but this one really changed it all around. Great food, terrible service.

I ate here yesterday, the place was nice, service was great and had a great meal. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with the Sicilian chicken soup. U never know what it's gonna be like at a chain restaurant, but these guys have it under control. Have really nice staff and quality food.

Surprisingly really good. Haven't been in a long time, years, due to a bad experience, but I was pleasantly surprised.

By far, the best authentic Italian food you could ever ask for and the service is exceptional. The atmosphere, it's unlike anywhere else, true.

Great food and service was so attentive and helpful! Had the Chicken Bryan and it was delicious and NY cheesecake for dessert -awesome! Will be back for sure!

My family of 4 decided to stop here to eat after a long flight. Wait time was 30 minutes which we didn’t mind however 15 mins after the hostess comes by saying im sorry we ran out of high chairs. I find it very unprofessional and very disappointed that a restaurant doesn’t have enough high chairs to accommodate toddlers. Won’t be coming back.

Food was awesome, and the service was great! Hadn’t been here in a while, but definitely a great dining experience.

We always loved our local Delray Beach Carrabba's and have dined in and done take out many times. It's so disappointing that the last 2 times, the food has gone way downhill and was terrible. The chicken parm was always a favorite. The last 2 times, it had totally changed. The chicken (the last 2 times) now seems to be some kind of processed chicken, tough and "odd. " Also, in last night's order, there was literally about one tablespoon of sauce on the chicken parm, and literally one slice of thin cheese. Bad. We also got an order of the lobster ravioli. A pathetically small portion of 6 very flat ravioli filled with an almost undetectable smear of
"lobster", and a small smattering of white sauce, for $22. Limp. Flat. It is unlike us not to finish food, but, we filled up on the bread and salad. It was my birthday dinner and we did takeout because I'm presently on crutches, and I realize that takeout sometimes looks a bit different than dining in, but that has never been an issue in the past at Carrabba's, and it was just a disappointment that one of our favorite local places is now something we'll take a pass on. We are not overly critical people, we just expect consistency and to not feel like we have been ripped off. The bottom line: The food used to be great, and now it's lousy. 2 strikes, you're out. Terrible.

Great Birthday dinner for our daughter! The food was outstanding, and service by Jessica was wonderful. The managing partner Tim came by and visited our table twice. Tim is a great addition to this location. He was able to share some history we did not know about Carrabbas and covered some of the new menu items. We will be back soon….

Wow, what used to be a must to go spot really went downhill. New management is terrible and nowhere to be found. Very disappointed in what used to be a quality location

The grilled sirloin was delicious but the cannoli coated ice cream was by far my favorite!
