Carriage Way Inn Bed & Breakfast, St. Augustine FL

What a PERFECT place to stay when visiting St. Augustine! We reserved the Diamond Suite which was spacious, elegant and made us feel like home. It’s legit located in the MIDDLE of everything. You can walk everywhere you need to go from right outside your door!
We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast offered each morning but we sure did enjoy the fresh baked cookies every day!
The staff was phenomenal and welcoming and we really can’t wait to go back!

Made a quick visit to St Augustin. This B&B was perfectly situated in the historic district with easy walking to all of the area. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Towels, bathrobes toiletries were all first class. They staff made you feel at home the minute you walked in the door. Definitely will go back

Beautiful bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Garnet room. It was very clean. This B and B is situated right in the historic district. You walk out the front door and there it is. The staff were very professional and kind. They thought of everything extra towels/washcloths, blankets, hair dryer, chocolates, sodas, coffee water and ice 24/7. Fresh lavender was laid out each night for guest. Breakfast was made fresh every am, need I say more.

Amazing! Everyone was so kind, and the breakfast made by Linus was so delicious! Sandy was so sweet and a great help! The room was really clean and beautiful!

The room was off the main entrance and was extra large and comfortable. The Inn is close to the main drag of St. Augustine and walking distance to everything. We enjoyed the room heater, bed, shower and large jetted tub. My only drawback was the breakfast was just ok. Larry (previous owner) spoiled us with his amazing morning breakfast. I really enjoyed his homemade bread and food.

Overpriced, traffic noise couldn’t sleep, cook did not show up for breakfast, no maid service and none provided after we requested room service.

We loved staying at Carriage Way Inn! The staff was friendly and so helpful. The location was perfect; we walked everywhere we went and we LOVED the old Inn! Would definitely return.

Two blocks away from the pedestrian only St. George Street is this beautiful and comfortable bed and breakfast. They don’t charge separate fees for cleaning and registration. Essential oil hot towels, wine, and soda are supplied for your relaxation. Our room is classic and clean. The two black towels tell you what detailed attention they tend to. Breakfast comes with linens and table service. Tourist carriages pass by the front door often, but the noises are totally gone by 10 pm sharp. A great vacation place indeed.

My husband and I stayed in the gold room and were delighted to find champagne on ice, a carafe of sherry and a box of chocolates waiting for us as well as a jacuzzi tub with candlelight and his and her bathrobes! We felt like we were being treated to a 50th wedding anniversary rather than a two-day getaway. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and offered us complimentary soda, water or wine as we checked in. They gave us very helpful advice about sites and restaurants and accommodated our every need. We loved the charming decor inside and out, and the special touches like make -your-own lavender sachets set this B &B apart from all the rest. We will definitely be returning!

Great place to stay. Two blocks from St George Street. Beautiful rooms, breakfast included, free water, soda, wine and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Free on-site parking. Staff is very attentive to your needs. Highly recommended!

Very close to St. George St.beautiful rooms. Our room was on the second floor and the balcony with the swing was a great spot to sit in the evening with the complementary wine. Was a really wonderful place to stay. We would stay again

We recently stayed in the diamond suite. When we checked in, we were greeted by Sam who is wonderful. She walked us over to the diamond suite and showed us the around the room which included a beautiful king size bed, which had rose petals in the shape of a heart and chocolates on the bed. It also included water, sodas, three different kinds of wine, a mini fridge, microwave, popcorn, beautiful Jacuzzi tub, bathrobes and a huge tv with a very comfy couch. The diamond suite has its own parking spot right next to it. Restaurants are within two minutes walking. The location is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend this place. It also includes a very nice custom breakfast that they make for you in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. It was a super relaxing place to stay quiet and very comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean.

The location could not have been more convenient for walking around and touring the historic area. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, offering us complementary glasses of wine at check in and remembering our names the following morning at breakfast. I loved the way the house made me feel like I'd been transported to a different time in history entirely. I would stay here again next time I'm in St. Augustine!

Very nice building, nice room, service was poor, nobody there when we arrived, no breakfast because cook didn't show.

We have been coming to the Carriage Way for many, many years and multiple owners. We learned we are on our 3rd set of owners as it was sold earlier this year. Happy to report the Inn is still as good as ever and the staff is still the best there is. JUade checked us in and made us feel right at home again with her great personality and smile. We will definitely be back again.

Wow wow wow! I completely understand now why this place is always booked and why it has such high praise. My husband and I were lucky enough to snag the Emerald room for a few nights during the Night of Lights opening weekend. Sandy was amazing accommodating our late arrival with a lock box & very detailed instructions on everything we needed to know. The next morning we went to breakfast, great choices and extremely friendly and accommodating staff! Sam was amazing with providing us some insight to the B&B and making sure we had everything we needed. It's 21+ which makes it more enjoyable for us since we needed some relaxation from our daughter. Sandy provides refreshments in a small fridge inside the inn including wine, coffee, tea, sodas, water and let's not forget those amazing cookies everyday after 5. Yummy! I couldn't stop raving to my husband about our stay and he agreed that it's the best place we've stayed in since we started coming 4 years ago. We will definitely be back for sure! Thank you again for providing such an amazing experience!

Excellent bed and breakfast! The location of Carriage Way Inn is perfect for exploring downtown St Augustine. The breakfast provided is tasteful and the rooms are clean. There are many details thought through by the host to help you enjoy your stay and increase comfort levels. Having on-site parking was also a benefit. My wife and I truly enjoyed are stay here and would recommend this B&B to any of our friends. Keep up the great work!
