Casa Monica Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection reviews
19Bar and lobby are very nice. Room is on the small side for the price. (Much smaller than any hotel room I have stayed in)
Caitlin at the front desk is amazing. Spectacular customer service from her! She was extremely helpful, said to call her any time and was a delight to deal with. Michael who helped us to our room and all of the valet staff were awesome. Great location and quick walk to shopping, bars and tons to do. Will stay here again.
The staff is one of the most amazing staffs I’ve ever had in a hotel experience. They make us feel like home, this is a kids friendly hotel and we totally enjoy our staying and also food! We totally recommend it!
The manager was very accommodating, upgrading our room when the one we booked wasn’t ready. However, even though the room was “nicer” it was very dated and the furniture was worn and stained. The bathrooms are the same as a holiday inn. The restaurant was great with fantastic drinks, and pool, while small was very nice with nice seating. Overall, location can’t be beat but for the money the hotel is just not very nice hence the 3 star review.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The bellman Ivan was so courteous and helpful. Our server Alex in the dining area went out of his way with assisting us on selections and was spot on. The entire hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. We stayed with our two shih tzus and couldn’t have had a better time. St Augustine was over the top for the Night of Lights. We opted to not have maid service during our stay since we had the dogs but the front desk did provide additional towels at our request. Our room was well maintained and clean. This was one of most memorable vacations. Thank you everyone for a great stay.
Decently nice resort. I didn't care for the decor in the rooms. Room service was slow and forgot half our order. They did comp it, which was nice. However. I didn't find anything special about this hotel, and wouldn't return.
We go to the bar/cocktail lounge for the ambience. Bartenders are just so so. With a dirty martini and a beer over $20 you usually get a different caliber. No cocktail napkins, we got ours out of a container, dirty bar, and soggy carpet underfoot
This is one of my favorite Marriott properties. Really cool environment and the staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. If you are going to St. Augustine there is no better place to stay.
Perhaps the nicest hotel in St Augustine, but it’s very large, loud, and in need of a renovation. Person who checked us in was too busy to make us feel welcome.
Small rooms with no fridge. Services at the restaurant is slow and expensive. Difficult to find parking within the hotel
We reserved a very expensive, suite at this so called luxury hotel and we were treated like dogs. Im a gold elite status member with bonvoy and I have never had to deal with the angst and dismissiveness that I dealt with here. You'll be treated better at the local holiday inn. I wish I could gie negative 5 stars.
You may want to reconsider patronizing this place until the ownership educates or gets rid of the arrogant wanna be tyrant manager who thinks it’s OK to violate civil rights as a representative of the business. When you try to violate the First Amendment rights of patriotic law abiding citizens it’s going to backfire so right now an apology is in order.
The hotel and the staff were awesome never have I been catered to like the way me and my girlfriend were catered to the whole staff was phenomenal and the atmosphere was so friendly thank you so much for a wonderful experience
Only stayed here for the night but was blown away by the resort. The whole experience from the room to dining was very similar to that of the Beverly Wiltshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. We will definitely return for another stay.
Convenient to downtown. No housekeeping. On site restaurant is over priced and not that good. Not sure what the "resort" fees are for. Overall this place is overpriced for what you get.
This hotel seems to believe they own the public sidewalks outside of its property line. They are known to make a habit of calling the police on homeless people for being on the sidewalks around their establishment.
Great historical St. Augustine hotel, right in the middle of the vibrant downtown area. Older rooms because it’s a historical building but the upkeep and atmosphere is amazing.
Definitely a waste of money. Staff is dismissive and the facility is very dirty. I am extremely disappointed in this resort. It’s more like a motel. Not a resort. Save your money folks and go somewhere else.
Fantastic hotel. Great staff. Extremely courteous. In the heart of everything. Beautiful rooms in excellent shape. Highly recommend for a day or a week.
