Casablanca Hotel Key West

MLK weekend 2024:

Great location, super staff (Mea!), and a clean room (albeit a bit worn) with a clean, private bath. Duval Street is “party-central” and shame on me for not realizing that Casablanca Hotel sits atop a busy bar - and Key West bars serve until 3 am. Adding to the bar noise and the music was periodic dumping of empty bottles into a dumpster. All quieted down after 3 am, for 2 hours of bliss, when the ubiquitous Key West roosters began announcing start of a new day. Nice croissants were delivered to front desk at 8 am. Free parking is available and easy walk 4-5 blocks away.

For guests who party all night, Casablanca is recommended; as after sunrise, things remain pretty quiet until about noon.

Maybe, ear plugs could come with the room?

Great room, great service, great location along Duval street, everything is within walking distance. Hopefully we'll be able to visit again!

The hotel is located in the prime place of key west, but the cost per night was exorbitant for such a small room.

This place is amazing. Great location around everything, but rooms are quite surrounded by tropical gardens. The rooms are fresh, inviting, and relaxing. I love it

The way this is set up is amazing. Need a better breakfast selection, BUT that won't reflect the 5 star review for this place. Because everything else was great

My first time staying in key west I did extensive research on which hotel was best price wise and location wise. This hotel ticked all my boxes off. The location is walking distance to everything, the price is fair. The staff is really friendly and the building itself is well kept and historic. Will be staying here again. 10/10

This is the place to be. Right in the middle of all the action on Duval Street. Attached to a restaurant and bar with good food and drinks. From STL, this place became our home base in Key West. Very centrally located, 3 min bike ride to the ocean. Even on a night they were booked they found us a place to stay. The rooms are cozy and romantic. The balconies offer a pleasant breeze and view. Only down fall was the breakfast in the morning was lacking, especially for a place attached to a restaurant. I would definitely book here again, staff was amazingly kind and accommodating.

Great location in the heart of the action on Duval Street. Clean room with two comfortable beds hidden behind the bar & just outside the pool was what I needed for my Key West night.

Very clean and convenient hotel. Kasha from OTT was out waitress. Very friendly and knowledgeable about menu and beverages. Kasha you are the best.

We had a very lovely stay at the Casablanca. It's not a fancy schmancy kind of place, but the room was clean and more than adequate, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good and we loved our private patio. The staff were always friendly, attentive and accommodating and the location can't be beat. If you're looking for ritzy, then I suggest you stay at one of the fancy resorts on the other end of the island. If you're looking for affordable character and Key West charm in the heart of Old Town, then you will love it here. Oh, and the attached restaurant is fabulous. Try the BBQ chicken or shrimp scampi flatbread. You won't regret it.

Excellent location! Kind service! Charming and very clean rooms! The air conditioner is noisy but tolerable, the hotel staff is welcoming, clean bedding. On Doval Street, it was fun to walk around and go straight to the hotel, the hotel staff directed us to the parking lot for free! We added another night at the hotel. Really recommend. Reasonable breakfast of orange juice, coffee, corsones, jam, butter, fruit and sum. There is no elevator and there are stairs. Below the hotel is a Greek tavern restaurant. You don't hear noise in the rooms!
