Casablanca Inn On The Bay, St. Augustine FL

Beautiful Victorian style rooms. Right off the road so you are only steps away from amazing restaurants and shops. We've stayed twice now and it's always been an amazing experience.

Our room was not ready on time, it was four hours after the time promised. The room was small, dirty, and run down with broken furniture and a very bad bed that had no support!

We were so excited to visit St. Augustine for the first time. We booked our room in October. We had booked second floor with a balcony looking at the bay. When we got there they put us in a room overlooking the alley. No atmosphere there. Very noisy and smelly from the fumes of the cars. Their work truck was in the back where our steps were and it smelled like diesel fuel. That smell stayed the whole trip. The room had an old window air conditioner that was very noisy. The tub had sitting water by the drain that never went down. The man at the front desk said that is the room we booked. I know when we booked we talked about the balcony facing the water. My fault for not double checking the room number on the reservation.
On a good note the free breakfast was awesome. The wait staff were awesome also. The location of the hotel is great to walk to everything.

The best hotel stay yet! 10 stars if it was possible! We were treated so well it was unbelievable! Julian and his managing partner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Accommodations were over the top! Thank you so much! The Allen's will be back and we will recommend you at every opportunity!

The room was in the back in a building that should not be used for rooms when you look out of one window you are looking into a storage room the front windows facing the street are so fogged up you can't see out. The room is so outdated. No hot water and it is way overpriced for what you get. I would never stay there again. You have to park over a block away and walk back to your room

Loved this place, great charm and character wonderful location, yes it does need a little updating but thats ok, talked to staff and this is being addressed, also free breakfast and free martini in their stunning bar we plan on going back, our room had a balcony overlooking the street

Paid for a luxury king room; the room is very dirty, and not worth $250 a night. The location is great but that is all. The room is tight and cramped nothing like the pictures shown online when booking. Parking sucks and is a walk to and from hotel with luggage, there unloading spot is a joke and can take 1 car before you are blocked in. The up keep in the room is clearly not being done. There was rice all over the patio furniture and a broke pot as well as the molding connected to bed is coming off wall. Bed is very uncomfortable and there is black mold on the ceiling. Just very disappointed. It’s a bait a switch; pictures looking nothing like what you get. Will never stay here again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! STAY AWAY!

We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again (and the beautiful Christmas decorations make it extra special/beautiful!)

Awesome, affordable place to stay. Literally in walking distance to EVERYTHING. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Service is phenomenal. You even get coupons for daily free breakfast and one free drink from their bar.

Room was super clean! Staff was very friendly breakfast was amazing and the martinis were the best! The other reviewer‘s who gave less than 5 stars must have had off visit for this place. Everybody around town comes here for the martinis and breakfast. But if you stay here you get priority seating for everything. Definitely coming back!

We come every year and we absolutely love this place and we don't ever want to leave. The staff is extremely nice and polite and the food is good and of course the drinks and bar are allways a plus! The bar tenders allways makes a point to come and talk with you. I seriously don't understand why some people make a bad review of this place. The rooms are allways clean and they have sleep number beds in every room. The house was built a long time ago so of course it's going to be historical and older furnishings which make the place unique. It's definitely a place to go to.

We always stay here when visiting St Augustine. Great accommodations, attentive and friendly staff, fantastic food and drinks!

I understand the Inn is in the middle of renovation, but this is not an excuse for rooms filled with dirt and mold. Everything about this establishment was disappointing from the cleanliness and condition of the room to the poor quality of the food to the shabbiness of the restaurant and bar. Find somewhere else to stay!

Absolutely Beautiful place to stay, the location is incredible. Across the street from the Fort, the location is worth the price alone and the room we have is a King Room with a Hot tub. They gave us free Champagne. As a gift. Breakfast is included. Will definitely come Back.

Loved this Bed & Breakfast, staff was super nice, room was beautiful, Breakfast was delicious. Had a great early anniversary weekend. Will definitely be back next year.

I've stayed here before, and have booked again. This place can't be beat with its location, amenities, and employees that really care about your stay and experience. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and the atmosphere and food at the Martini bar is unparalled. Best quality at an outstanding value. Love this place.

One and Done. Our lunch was just served and another party walked in taking the back table. Oddly enough one person lit up a large cigar. Unable to stand the heavy smoking we asked our very kind server to please get our check. We could no longer enjoy our meal. P.s. Someone told us it was the owner. Bye-bye.

Wow if I could give this place more stars I would! My boyfriend and I booked this last minute and we’re so impressed, it was our first time in St Augustine, such a prime location. The staff was so sweet, the martin’s and breakfast downstairs were delicious!
