Casola's Pizzeria & Sub Shop reviews
14It's not how it use to be before the pandemic, hardly no one was wearing a mask while making food especially during the surge of Omicron. I get it about the mask but it could've been better. Asked for garlic powder they gave me garlic salt and I put it on my pizza and my pizza was so salty! But I'm not gonna stop going, they just need to improve cleanliness.
Restaurant is ok, nothing fancy. Good selection of food and drinks. Place gets packed and very few patrons wore masks (all employees did). Pricing is moderate. I bet very few places, if any, have a pizza larger than their largest one.
What the heck happened to this place! This joint had great tasting pizza about two years ago. I came to order a plain cheese and veggie pizza and got pizza without sauce or any taste…. Horrible pizza Mann…. I’d rather have gotten a pizza from 7/11.am very disappointed
I would recommend this local pizzeria. Huge slices of pizza. The pizza doesn’t have a huge bunch of flavor but comes with a sauce that pairs nicely with it. Also ordered the Turkey Croissant and it was very good. They were out of the tiny cookies they promote. Didn’t get to try those out.
Great pizza, especially if you love cheese! The perfect complement to a late night out it's not cheap, and the service isn't always perfect (they have to deal with some characters) but it's a legendary spot for good reasons!
Has some great pizza for many years, however it has lost its aesthetic of a family-owned restaurant and its dining area always being in an awkward stage of remodeling for many years already has left a bad impression on new customers and usuals alike.
It's not what it once was.
Terrible food doesn't have the same taste or quality ingredients. Shame it was the best pizza in Miami.
Really wanted to like this place because everyone mentioned it. With that being said…they only take credit cards for delivery. The slices are about $5 each - they are very large but I can’t say I was amazed. The cheese pizza was undercooked and cold. The pepperoni pizza was average. Cheese wasn’t even fully melted. I wouldn’t come here again on my own, only if someone insisted.
The pizza was awesome. Been coming here for a long time and is still awesome place to have a good pizza
If you pay in the store is cash only, please be advised of this and bring your cash. We had to spend $3.50 in the atm to take cash out.
I've been going to this pizza spot since I can remember. My parents would bring me here and I remember they used to have small pizza slices for anyone waiting in line to try. Due to COVID this isn't a thing anymore but the pizza is still amazing. I've recently tried their spaghetti and meatballs and it's really good. It even brings bread and garlic included.
Im giving two stars because service here is always nice. Haven’t had an issue there. We’ve ordered from here a few times to give it a shot since it’s close to our house. Unfortunately, the pizza is always not good, and I don’t bother with the leftovers. It’s both overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Crust is like a rock, but the cheese is still barely melted. This last pizza we got was pretty salty, and they use an abundance of cheap cheese that’s unpleasant. They got really big pies tho if you need quantity and not quality.
The service was super fast and they're very polite.the calzone was delicious.and i also order a pizza and
This was a good local place to eat! Large menu selection. HUGE slices of pizza. They were out of the small special cookies they promote. Pizza flavor didn’t have a big punch but did come with a special sauce that made it so delicious. Also got the turkey croissant and it was really good. I’d recommend visiting!
