Castle Hotel, Autograph Collection reviews
19I stayed one night. I enjoyed my stay. I loved the room. Fresh n nice. Clean carpets. Pillows n bed were nice. Place was clean. I was impressed no lie. Of course Im coming back. I got a good night rest.
Terrible, the rooms were so small, you can’t move around in them, they didn’t have any microwaves so when we got breakfast our food was cold, plus the halls looks more like a castle dungeon, it’s so dark looking, they charge you 15.00 for parking per night, but they say there not responsible if anything happens to your car, the rooms reminds you of a cheap hotel, this place isn’t Sahara I expected for 200.00 per night
This hotel has nothing in particular to make it so pricey. Do NOT recommend. Room.waa not thoroughly cleaned.
Not a 4 star hotel by no means. They up charged us from hotels.com. They also charges $15 A-day for parking. Rooms are out of date and old. Didn't clean her Room and the bed feels like a trampoline. The Room has plenty of flaws and they charged us a $50 a night deposit like we're in the hood. We'll never stay in this outdated one star hotel ever again
The re-modeling has been completed and the hotel reopened. While there is still no breakfast service yet, the location, rooms, and staff are good.
Joanna at check-in was attentive. The room was very clean.
The location is in the middle of International Drive.
I will be back!
The hospitality was amazing. It is in the middle of everything. The best part is that there's so many amazing restaurants right next door so you can park your car in the parking lot and walk over to the restaurants.
Really super cool hotel! Gorgeous view of the pool from our room. There was a wedding taking place so we didn't want to be rude and be the only ones in the pool but it looked awesome. Rooms are decorated really neat with really fantastic furniture.
The guy who checked us in was really nice.
Wonderful experience!
We only utilized the back conference room but it was awesome along with the service from the Staff! The two gentleman that helped with food and other things were great and polite. Date of service was 9-2-18.
A few hiccups but they fixed them and made sure everything was good, beautiful hotel very clean and well taken care of, awesome theme
Good service and great location. Walking distance to restaurants and entertainment on International Drive. Close to Disney parks even closer to Universal Studios.
The hotel is unique. We first stayed at this hotel when it was under another hotel brand back in 2005. So while we were in Orlando for our daughter’s field trip we decided we would try it out again.
It has a feel of being more contemporary, it is def more adult orientated. Our daughter was just fine though.
The rooms are very nice and well maintained. The bathroom could be upgraded to have a fan so it would not be so steamy. The lighting in the rooms and throughout the hotel was quite dim.
Our hotel room had a refrigerator and coffeemaker. No microwave though. We were told we were lucky because we had a refrigerator. For the price you pay all of those rooms should have a refrigerator and a microwave. They do have complimentary water and a $35 bottle of wine per room. The bed were very comfortable.
Forget having breakfast at the hotel restaurant. My 10 year old and husband went down to get breakfast for just two. It cost them $57 including tax and the food was not that impressive. 1 breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage and bagel for $15, the other breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and toast for $15. The milk and sprite cost $3 each but the apple juice was $4. They half filled one of the plastic with fruit and charged $5. Each was in a small plastic cup. There is a fee each day for parking your car in an unsecured lot. We figure if we stay there again we will ask for a room with a refrigerator and we will avoid the restaurant. The employees are wonderful and professional. They are an asset. The location is great.
We stay here every time we are in Orlando. It is a charming spot. The staff is generally very customer oriented. Would have given five stars but last time we stayed we had a terrible experience with the food. We waited an hour for food and no one else was at the bar. We were told they were changing the menu the next day. Apparently that means that for that last day service had to be bad. Food came out cold as the bartender ran food to a room. The bar manager acted as though she was afraid to interact with us and was more concerned with a liquor count than waiting on her customers. When we did ask for service she simply waited for the bartender and relayed our order. It was ridiculous. Front desk apologized and offered to take it off our bill but failed to do so. We will stay again but if the service is poor again we will probably look for a new favorite as Orlando offers many accommodations.
I used to work there and honestly its a very hazardous, unprofessional place to work for. I will NEVER work there again.
Loved this place, perfect non-disney resort to stay at. It's still beautiful & magical. It's like staying on an actual castle. The people are so nice, they even gave us some Disney tips. They have no microwave though, & youh have to ask for a fridge. Also, the toilets suck, but they are fast to fix it every time. They ice machines are broken except the 9th floor. The pool was very nice, & great location, next to a lot of shops.
Great hotel! A bit pricy but it was worth it. Lovely pool, lovely entrance. Great customer service. It could've have gotten 5 stars but I was not known before of parking fees and the hotel is pretty expensive. Overall it was a nice experience. Thank you very much!
This hotel is very trendy and has a really cool environment. I stay at this resort frequently. The downstairs bar is a cool place to hang out even if you aren't a guest, and the bar tender was awesome. I do avoid this hotel when traveling with my family because my kids find it boring, but I love to stay here with my husband because it has a very sexy vibe. I gave four stars because my husband ordered something to come to my room for my birthday, and the staff didn't put it in the room and just kind of awkwardly brought it out of the back room. My husband told me he called multiple times to request it be placed in the room. Also, you have to pay for self parking which caused me to give it 4 stars. Overall, this hotel is great, very clean, and has a very adult vibe
Interesting Hotel concept, very pretty Lobby. Hallways are very dark with the feel of an old castle crossed with a new hotel. Be aware that room service ends at 11 pm. Also the mediocre bottle of wine in the room is $35. The guest services however are wonderful and they were very accommodating for me, my dog, and my newborn daughter. The location is great because it is by a bunch of restaurants shops and putt putt.
300$ a room for what? I waited half an hour for my room to get ready. I asked for two queen beds and still got one queen room instead. Room is decent but woke up with multiple significant itchy bites over all my body. If you want a clean hotel then please avoid this hotel.
We stay here every year for a conference. The staff are what make this hotel great. It is also within walking distance to the Orlando eye and a ton of great restaurants. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is great too!
