Casual Clam Seafood Bar & Grill, St. Petersburg FL

Food was very good. Served hot and fresh. Steak sandwich and fries. Waiter wasn't really on his game and probably didn't care if we would have liked a second drink. Maybe tending bar and waiting tables was too much for one person

They had the best burgers but recently changed the buns. Now nothing extraordinary anymore. We used to drive out of our way but now?

Been a regular for 10 years + change in ownership and the portions have depleted, pandemic hurt I get it and prices continue to rise. The food is great onion rings incredible and awesome batter used for seafood 4 stars for food, 4 stars service, 4 stars atmosphere, 3 stars on portions and 0 stars on the seafood platter that used to be incredible, but cannot be ordered to go now.too bad because when my family comes here it is the first place I take them to dine out because of the food portions, service and atmosphere.use to fill me up as I would be there once/twice a week sometimes.hope it gets better

I really wish I could have given 4.5 stars because my only complaint isn't that big. The beer selection was lacking. Usually local places like this have a lot of local beers, but the few choices they had weren't local. Everything else top notch. If you don't like a good craft beer while dining you'll love this place.

My first time there walked into the restaurant sign stated seat yourself I asked a waitress if there was outside seating she was talking to her coworker she said yes there is outside seating you can just seat yourself and went back to her conversation with her friend.
I had to ask her how do I get out there like I said it was my first time there she seemed bothered and pointed to the door.
The food we ordered was really good also the drinks were on point.
The girl we saw in the front ended up being our waitress and she was very good checking on us a few times.
My only critique would be treat guests more friendly when coming into the establishment.

It was very tasty, and the waitress even helped me watch my cholesterol. We were able to order this grilled instead of fried.

I'd been by this place numerous times and finally went. What a gem! I had a mixed plate of fried shrimp, fish, whole-belly clams, oysters, and scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection!

Our server was fun and attentive.an absolute peach!

My only suggestion is to offer more grilled items, but other than that, it's a wonderful seafood experience. Go!

Haven't been here in a few years and it's changed a bit. That being said the food service and ambiance were enough that I won't stay away so long.

Service was good. Food was good. What bothers me about this Casual Clam in St Pete is that they put the 3% credit card fee on the customers.

The fried shrimp is the best. My partner got the hamburger and liked it. The atmosphere is super casual. It's small so there isn't much they can do.

Just not the same place it used to be. Gumbo has changed. The huge blacked chicken sandwich was removed from menu and Albacore tuna sandwich aswell. My buffalo wings had a really good sauce but the wings are that rubbery type. Bummer!

The food was great, and the service was great. Just had a hard time smelling the dirty bleach rage smell that was on the tables (outside mi d you, still can smell it).

This is my local bar. Words don't describe my affection for the place. Great to catch a Rays game, get the oysters, which are $10 for 10, and have a few drinks. If you catch the right happy hour, you wind up in $3 margs which are actually good. All the action is outside at the bar.
