What a beautiful library. The security guard was very helpful, and I'm glad they host events for the public willingly. Will be back.

Today I met a friend of mine and we went here today.
I was very impressed after realizing I had passed this library without knowing it was right at me.
Very clean and the workers were extremely polite.

The young man with the pony tail, in the front helped me in a timely manner to get a library card. Personable/ pleasant and I left with everything I needed. Thank you for your assistance. I came with my State driver license. My child got a library card last year, so I was on file already
You would think the way the brunette woman, with the cakey powder on her face, next to the gentlemen who helped me was working for TSA at the airport. Border patrol vibe. She made all kinds of stink face while I awaited to be verified and added to the system. I WAS going to scan some documents at one of the computers but I didn't bother dealing with her glaring at me. I went to Starbucks and got a latte and decided I could try the library another day my iPhone scans documents anyway. Waste of time. Not the kind of person who should be in contact with the public next to someone who actually enjoys there job.

Great Library, Borrowed ten movies for three weeks. It was also free book day so I scored two good books. Very friendly and professional librarians. Loved the experience. Highly recommended.

I request movies be put on hold. In addition I can always find something I haven't seen. Wide selection. Alexandra (in reference) is so personable, I love her.

Don't doze off while reading at this library! The employees here will be on you like flies to a fresh pile of dog dung! I was told they had 15 people trespassed last week for repeatedly falling asleep while reading at this library. I guess library managers haven't figured out Cocoa police have better, much more important things to do like investigate and arrest real criminals. I've dozed off for a minute myself while reading something. However, they harass me for not "sleeping" at the library within 5 seconds of closing my eyes and I'm not sleeping! I do this frequently because I have a medical condition called dry eyes. Today I was sitting at a table, looking down at my cell phone with my reading glasses on reading and this silver haired woman from reference who has an accent, who always harasses me, came over and told me to wake up! I wasn't sleeping! My eyes were never closed! Before she said a word I turned and looked at her because I saw someone approaching me out of my peripheral vision. Can you imagine? ! It's the Cocoa library Gestapo! Perhaps they should make certain someone is sleeping before they accuse them of sleeping! The library managers are treading dangerous legal grounds!

Something dark has gotten into everyone. We're out to get each other for even the smallest reasons. I've had friends say that "darkness" started as we were coming out of the Covid pandemic. One told me me she sees it now, but not before the Covid pandemic. She says Covid or the vaccines or both put something evil inside all of us.

Love this library. Great selection for kids and adults, and there are always free activities for kids. If they don't have your book, you can have them transfer it from any library in the Brevard County system. People are always helpful and friendly, especially with kids. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

It was very enjoyable I was looking for a quiet place to go and look up some stuff online and just mess around on my tablet see different people. Some talk too loud for me like I said if I go for peace I expect it my bad. Places very clean it's very comfortable I wish to do something with it cheap eroding window tint you have the most beautiful view of the river.

Our SALT group went on a tour of the
Cocoa library, today and I was blown away! They have really updated, expanded and added a lot of new things! It's a magical place! Most of the great things they offer the public are free! The only thing that there is a small change for, is the material you use for the 3-D printer!

They offer many & varied classes & some are thought by none library employees, so there's a small fee.

They have a book store where they sell donated books from 50¢ to a couple of dollars.

There are 3 studios that you can use for making Pod Cast, Videos, record music or save pictures from your phone or laptop to a flashdrive etc.

Their Genealogy Department is extensive, as is their History Department. And it's world wide reference material. You can use their Ancestry program to do your family tree, too.

I have been doing a library tour of Florida public libraries for about 11 months now. (Retired teacher). So far I have visited about 110 libraries. Some small and wonderful, some large and amazing! That said The Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library in Cocoa Florida, might be the BEST library I have been in so far! This place is amazing! Unique and inviting to all folks who come in!
When people come to Cocoa or Cocoa Beach, I’m sure the Beaches are a top destination, but you should add this library to your places to visit list! You will not be disappointed!
