Very cute place with lots of character. Large variety of coffee drinks and unique food choices. Dog friendly front deck. Very friendly service. You may have to wait in line to order but with it.

One of my favorite places for a coffe in USA! I am European and I admire real cafe’s houses (u don’t have them in USA) but Cattle Dog coffe Roasters is one of those few that I know and I love in USA sweets are also good! Not only caffe.

2024-01-25: I like trying new restaurants, and I had Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters on my list of restaurants to visit. I am not a coffee drinker, but in my opinion, could this possibly be a coffee-lovers paradise? I got here just before 8am and there was plenty of parking in back. As the day progresses, getting in and out of the driveway could possibly be a bit difficult due to the heavy traffic this area gets. It wasn't busy when I got there, but while I was sitting there enjoying my meal, it started to get busier. The menu is VERY limited. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. I also ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on Everything Bagel, and a Raspberry White Chocolate Scone. I thought I had photos of the bagels, but I guess I ate them too. The bagels were very good, and the scone was fantastic. The food items they had on display all looked very tasty. I was a little disappointed I wasn't able to order a big breakfast, but what I had was worth the stop. I DO plan to go back and try some of the other items on display

Stopped in for some yummy iced coffee and breakfast. They were slammed busy with the Manatee festival yet still prompt, professional and friendly!

Average experience. It was very frustrating waiting at the counter to order for what felt like 5 mins to have them come out right after you walk away to sit down and then have to join the line again

Coffee was ok, food options not great.
My blueberry muffin was good, but quickly thrown into a paper bag after telling them I wanted it to eat in. I was starting to feel like what did I do for them to be this rude to me

When your standing at the register and all the staff walk past doing things for 4 minutes and no one looks your way. Kids working here need service lessons.

Charming local coffee shop on the main thoroughfare of Crystal River. Free parking for customers in a gravel lot behind the shop. Entrance is located about half a story up, accessible via ramp or stairs, with some outside seating available for sunny days.

The main dining room has several wooden 4-person tables, with a wall of house-roasted beans for sale on the right and a nook with additional seating on the left. Main menu is displayed in a rotating fashion on the screen behind the register, sandwich specials are listed next to the register, and pastries are displayed so you can salivate as you wait to place your order. A lot of the specialty drinks were too fancy and sweet for my taste, but if you’re a coffee-is-dessert person, they will likely tempt you. The bagel and croissant sandwiches look and smell amazing. Our coffees and cranberry orange scone were satisfying, but the latte took a while to come out. Free wi-fi, water dispenser, and any gender bathroom for those looking to get some work done.

Cute little coffee shop with a pretty extensive lunch (gourmet sandwiches) and pastry/baked goods selection. We tried the chai tea latte and a butterscotch iced latte along with the hot chicken sandwich and turkey caprese. Everything was delicious. They have convenient online ordering for quick pickup (just wish there was a separate checkout line for pickup orders).

Really enjoyed a cup of coffee and relaxing in the lounging area. A great stop while christmas shopping. Wonderful coffee.

Tried it on a whim because we wanted a bagel. Food was better than I expected and they had lots of vegetarian options. Coffee was good, just go ahead and get that 20oz cause if you dont youll wish you did. They had a decent selection of teas as well. Plenty of sweets, we had a cinnamom roll. Seating for 30+ inside over 8 tables and a couch, outside seating too on the porch. Clean, well-lit, fun vibes. Nice employees that seem to enjoy their job, they were helpful and cheerful, dancing around and chit-chatting. Busy but the line moves fast and the wait for food is short. Prices seem spot on for the food and coffee.

I am updating this review after last visit.

The food is very good and the coffee is good.however, the parking lot they have there is very small and there is nowhere to park if you have a large vehicle.

Very nice cafe both inside and outside, the guys are very friendly, the service is quick, excellent cinnamon roll and muffins, reasonable prices!

Environment is very welcoming. Clean and helpful staff. We are from our of town and this was a great experience it felt like being in our home town coffee shop.

We will stop here every single time we drive through. The employees are so pleasant and knowledgeable and the coffees are outstanding!

Awesome shop, great staff! The guys are super helpful and attentive. And of course, COFFEE! It's pretty fantastic as well.
