Cedar River Seafood reviews
15Waited over 7 minutes to be seated. Then they took another 8 minutes to get drink orders. Another 13 minutes to get our drinks and to order food. We quit keeping track at that time. We were about to leave and then our food came out. The food was very good with large portions. We all ran out of drinks and never got a refill. We also asked for a booth. This was at around 6: 30pm. They don't close till 9. They refused us a booth because they were cleaning the area to close. It was not at all busy. There were only two other tables with customers. We will NEVER go back. It's a shame too. The food was really good.
Soup was cold. Tea was like a hole bag of sugar dumped in it. This is the 3 times it was really bad. For the you charge people it should be better!
A little expensive but worth it! We loved the atmosphere and decor, relaxing. The food was better than we've had at red lobster and the portions were huge.
The food was good, except the grilled scallops and blackened flounder tasted exactly the same. It was pretty busy and took over 30 minutes to get our food. Our server was nice and attentive.
Top notch waitress on last Monday afternoon. Offered excellent suggestions and got everything we might need. My whole catfish was a little tough but had good flavor. Another person in our party got shrimp and scallops and she said hers was excellent. The Cole slaw was perfect. The butter beans were a bit pasty and overcooked. But these were only minor problems or else I would have given 5 stars. Overall I would recommend this restaurant!
Really was good food service and price over all looked clean update decor and would be even better atmosphere
Stopped here on family vacation. Our waitress, Laura, was amazing. The food came quick and was delicious. Fresh shrimp and flounder. Sides were fresh and delicious also. Sweet tea was perfect. You won’t be disappointed here
Absolutely fabulous food and large portions! Stuffed crab is a must and phenomenal! We were seated immediately, although though it was packed. Service was impeccable!
Riding through trying to figure out where we should eat. We decided to stop by cedar river seafood. Service was quick and very friendly. Food was absolutely delicious, nice size portions as well. When I got the bill, I was shocked at how affordable it was. We will make sure we are hungry riding through next so that we can stop and eat here again!
When its fried fish you want this is the place to get it. Its usually always fried to perfection and the fries are awesome. We are actually quite blessed to have a actually place for fish in this town.
We had just come off the withlacoochee State trail on our bicycles so we were famished this little restaurant did not disappoint. I had a flounder sandwich with a side of hush puppies it was excellent! My partner had fish on his salad and it was good. Prices were very reasonable. Our servers are friendly and fun. So our experience was a pleasant one. I will definitely be back! Our whole meal with two beers was was $43. Highly recommend.
This was our first time here (in Inverness). The food my husband ordered came out cold and the food I ordered tasted like it had cinnamon which is weird for shrimp scampi. The best thing about the meal was the beer was cold. She did take the up charge off and a 10% discount on a $25 meal which he only ate one thing. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Cedar River is a great little place to get some delicious seafood. Upon many visits here, we have consistently had a great experience. The food has always been fresh, hot, and tasty. The service has been pretty good overall. Some of my favorites are fried catfish, fried okra, green beans, fried oysters, and you have to get their fried green tomatoes.
Fresh and tasty dishes. Lunch is $11.99 and up. I had blackened flounder. Others had chowder, salad, crab stuffed flounder ($13.99). Flounder lunch specials had 2 hush puppies each and 2 more sides. We had coleslaw, baked potato, green (French, flat) beans. Flounder melted in mouth. Everything tasted fresh.
