Small campground tucked away on a very quiet road. We have a beautiful site. There's an unheated pool and rec room w laundry and 2 showers.
The quietest place we've been in years and a great place to ride your bike. 2 miles to town.

Great place to stay or live! We have been here for over one year and enjoyed everything! Laundry, clubhouse and the pool are easy access. We are leaving because our house is finally built, we loved everything about staying here. People are friendly and most of all the resort is pet friendly. Cannot say enough about living here

If you enjoy being constantly monitored via video camera, screamed at by park managers, having rocks and dirt thrown at you by lawn mowers breaking windows and denting trailers. This is the place for you. More akin to Auschwitz than paradise.

Great turn around here. Nicely updated. Park has improved 100% in the past few years. Nice spot to stay a lil or long term

Space was a little tricky to get into, but it was a super quite camp with a good rate. The kids loved the pool and the book exchange. The staff was friendly and we would stay here again.

The lady that runs the park is on a power trip and thinks she can tell the tenants what SHE feels like the rules are. The pool is dirty, the bugs are super prevalent because they don’t treat, I got ticks on my dogs and ticks on myself because they are full of neglect. They don’t care for the land or the grounds at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER.

We had a wonderful three week stay at Cedars Lake. It started as a one week stay, and we enjoyed the campground and the area so much that Kelly made it easy for us to extend our stay. Kelly and John are gradually making this into a terrific little campground!

I lived here for a over a year and I never realized how much I would miss this beautiful place and all the cool people that live/ visit there. John and Kelly turned that place into a paradise with the help of the friendly and funny maintenance crew. I love all the people, dogs and cats that live there also.
Everyday was an adventure, full of friendly faces or just the random fun this place has to offer.
I hope I will make it back one day because it’s one of my favorite places in the world.

This place is quiet comfortable and cozy with an array of different people from all over. Some stay for the weekend or a whole week a month and some just stay stuck there for the rest of there lives! Lol it really is a beautiful little culvasac, i think thats how u spell it at least.

A wonderful gem of a park. There is a lovely pond which most of the transient rv'ers are placed while the full time/seasonal people are scattered about. The property managers are less than a year on the job and I understand they have made some remarkable improvements with more planned. John and Kelly are friendly, cheerful and super responsive if there's a problem (a barking dog but they took care of it pronto!). The pool is very nice, very clean, solar heated at the moment. On the very hot days, however, blow up a floatie and enjoy. Full hook up worked great; no cell service to speak of but there is WiFi. The shower room is very nice; clean. There is laundry onsite (didn't use it, however) and a clubhouse of sorts with a large variety of books to borrow. Mason Creek Rd is a bit dangerous to bike on but just a block up is a series of roads, dead ends, etc which can take about an hour to fully ride. Not much traffic. The town of Homosassa itself is so cool! We suggest the Monkey Bar for a waterfront cocktail and if you cook and love fish, you must go to Shelly's Fish Market. There is always fresh snapper, grouper, hogfish, maybe some mahi or trigger fish, if you're lucky. You're a 10-15 minute drive from Publix, WinnDixie, Walmart and restaurants. A half mile down the road is a boat launch, if you're a fisherperson or kayaker. We have already made our reservations for next year (thanks, Kelly). Give this park a try - you will be happy you did. The poor reviews are pre-new property managers and made by some disgruntled people who were evicted for cause.

We stayed here on Feb. 8 2020 and loved it. Quiet, nicely kept park and the hosts Kelly and John were awesome! We'll stay there again! Very reasonable and were the only place that called us back after calling 9 campgrounds and had room for our big rig. Thank you

We planned on staying for 2 nights. Once we were here we were so comfortable we ended up staying a week. Kelly and John were fantastic. The place is clean and well kept. Showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Very quiet, low key relaxing atmosphere was just what we needed.

I made a reservation almost two months out and then needed to cancel because our plans changed, and we wouldn’t be in FL at that time. I called two weeks ahead of our reservation to cancel, and was told we would only get half of the charge reversed. I have stayed at dozens of RV parks and never had any money taken for canceling even only a few days ahead. No one told me that there would be a cancellation fee when I made the reservation. This is a horrible way to run a reservation-based business. Do not make a reservation there unless you are 100% sure your plans will not change even several weeks out!
