Central Florida Institute of Oral Surgery & Dental Implants

My daughter recently (last Friday) had an appointment to get her four wisdom teeth removed. The consultation and the surgery went well, the staff was professional and thorough. However, after the surgery was complete, I went to CVS to pick up the painkillers and the antibiotics. But the pharmacy had not received any prescriptions from the dentist office. The pharmacist called the emergency number on Friday around 2: 30pm, and they could not get ahold of the office. This was immediately after the surgey and my daughter did not have access to the pain killers and antibiotics. I called the emergency number Saturday morning and it went straight to voice-mail. We did not hear back from the office until Tuesday morning. They claimed they did send the prescription to the pharmacy. It took four days for the dentist to acknowledge the situation, which was the most painful and stressful healing periods after the surgery. My daughter's face is still swollen on both sides. This was completely unprofessional of the dentist office as my daughter underwent a major surgery. Thank you for your understanding.

Staff were gentle, got 3 wisdom teeth removed although I requested all 4. Process was quick and recovery wasn’t as bad as I thought.

I have to give the entire team a huge shout out. The way they dealt with my son throughout the entire process spoke volumes about this establishment. The kindness, the patience, the compassion and care was unmeasurable. Not everyone deals with autistic children with this type of wisdom understanding and love. Thank you ALL so much. I just wanted to write, to let everyone know what a wonderful staff Central Florida Institute of Oral Surgery and Dental implants has, my son is a new patient here, we have not yet met the doctors however I bet the doctors are just as nice and professional as their staff is, I spoke with Carolyn today and right away she was so nice and compassionate, she walked me through my upcoming appointment and reassured me that my son was in good hands and was very understanding with my current situation with my appointment status and then I had the pleasure to talk to the office manager Marilyn and Wow, she also was very nice, polite and understanding, I told her that she is obviously a good leader, leading her staff and showing them the correct way to run a successful, business becuase her staff shows it! If you are looking for a compassionate, nice, well established dental institution, then I highly recommend Central Florida Institute of Oral Surgery and Implants, you will love all the office personal! Marilyn, Carolyn and Anna. Once we meet the doctors I will then add to my review, until then. Carolyn (lady with the white hair) is such a sweet and respectful person. She will always make sure to make someone feel heard or understood no matter the ask. She will make you feel welcome in any environment and will always send you off with a smile. I couldn’t ask for a kinder person nor a better experience.

This dentist practice is really awesome, I am here for the second time and I spoke to Leesa.she did everything she could to help me get my tooth taken out before my surgery. I had a lot of anxiety, and she helped me, and she was very friendly, very professional, thank you Leesa, you’re awesome and also the doctor is awesome also, and all the ladies in the front.not one attitude. I had a great experience with this dental establishment. They have a very clean office and a very professional staff, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my entire extraction process. Additionally, their offices called to check on my recovery process which was so pleasant and kind of them. Dental work can be alot and I am glad that I went with such a great group of individuals to make things seamless.

Just wanted to give you guys 5 star rating…from the moment I called to make the initial appointment (had an emergency with my wisdom teeth was in a lot of pain) you guys were able to squeeze me in and set me up for surgery to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Process was so quick and the attention you ALL gave was very professional and awesome. I was scared very nervous having to use IV sedation for the 1st time. Thanks to the young crew the ones getting the IV putting me on the monitor setting up for the procedure, for talking to me taking my mind of everything that was going on. You guys put me at ease I appreciate it. My husband said you guys called him and he was able to help along with all of you after the procedure was done and be there he was also very nervous…awesome experience, plus they called a few hours later to check on me…thanks to all of you, for everything you do…God bless all of you

I was there last Friday April 14th for all of my upper teeth extracted for dentures, (I had 12 teeth) the surgeon was very very nice and so were the nurses on the day of my procedure. They made me feel real comfortable and I was literally scared and nervous. They were so amazing and I would highly recommend this place for any extractions. So clean and very comfortable with talking to. Thank you Dr. S

Had surgery here last week. Great God fearing establishment.there was a fee but when I arrived he took it off such a great place and very professional but treat you like family. Thank You for taking great care of me. God Bless your business 4 ever

Horrible. Cancelled appointment but did not notify us (apparently, no one on their staff or their reservation system entered our telephone or email address to their system). We phoned the front office on our way to our appointment for more than an hour but no one ever answered or returned our calls (see other reviewers’ comments about this ongoing issue over the past several years.) Front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not even the slightest understanding or concern with regard to dealing with customer service issues. Pleased that others appear to have had more positive experiences than my family and I. However, as far as we’re concerned, this is simply the worst service of any healthcare office we’ve ever experienced! One would hope that medical professionals would have more concern with regard to how their office operates and is managed.

Horrible service and extremely disrespectful. Office manager Marilyn has no sympathy for terminal illness. Cellisse at the front desk was horrible.

I am not one to write reviews often. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I hate dental work and have been avoiding this for months. The first time I meet with them for a consultation. I was nervous. The team was so nice and put me at ease. I had to remove 5 teeth. The day of the surgery. I broke down in the parking lot due to being overwhelmed with other thing as well As the procedure. One member of the team came outside in the parking lot and talk to me and calm me down. She didn’t have to do that but she did. My husband had to come with her three kids and they were so accommodating. I am also a hard pick. It usually takes multiple tries to get an IV in. There were able do it on the first try and I barely felt it. The team during the process was great and talked me through everything. The surgeon was so nice and reassuring. They called my husband and checked in on me a few hours after. I have no pain for someone that had 5 teeth taken out. If you have to get any oral surgery this is the place for you. Very nice staff, don’t get me wrong but this place is very busy so if your looking to have work done asap this is not the place. I end up waiting 3 hrs for my consultation, but had to come back to talk to the doctor because they were so behind, keep in mind I live an hour away I was very upset. Then after getting my teeth pulled I called the manager crying in pain because I have Tramatic brain injury on top that and my pain is and a high 10 and she has not given me a call back. I personally would not recommend and inpatient person here.

Be prepared to wait 2 hours or more before any services are rendered because the doctor doesnt know how to schedule appointments. Being self-employed i have better scheduling than this.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff here or the doctor. My son had a tooth injury and was seen by Greensburg dental who shrugged his injury off and suggested we go to an orthodontist to put his tooth back in place (which was completely the wrong guidance) the orthodontist at Greenberg dental then suggested that we immediately go see an endodontist that very same day which we did. After driving an hour and seeing the endodontist they referred us to central Florida of oral institute. Can I just say this was the only, and best thing Greenberg dental did for us. I immediately drove to the office which I was very welcomed and greeted by the office staff. I explained my sons situation and everything we had endured over the past few days. We had a referral that was improperly filled out by Greenberg dental. Who could have guessed that? Not only did central Florida institute of oral surgery help me get greenburg dental to immediately properly fill out the referral they also got me an appointment the next morning even though they were fully booked out months. It didn’t stop there. The following day my son was seen by Dr. Samaniego who not only was a miracle worker but also said that they were immediately going to squeeze my son in for emergency surgery. They kept me updated every step of the way while we waited for the office manager Marilyn to get approval from Medicaid which if anyone knows is a nightmare to get approved for a specialist but let alone in literally just a couple of hours. The office manager Marilyn not only sympathized with us but literally went above and beyond to make sure my son was treated and would be covered by insurance. A five star rating is not high enough for this amazing team. More people like this should exist. I would have been lost without this great doctor and staff. Thank you for everything!
