Central Imaging Open MRI, St. Petersburg FL

Very disappointed they did not tell me the correct way to wear the hearing plugs they wanted me to wear even though I brought my own without metal which would’ve actually stayed in my ears. If they expect you to use the earplugs they provide and not the ones you bring. Then it’s their responsibility to make sure the patient is safe and using correctly. Did not give me headphones on top of the ear plugs. Ear plugs came out during exam so basically had procedure done without ear protection which is a huge safety concern. I would’ve like to have trust that the facility would do and use all possibly precautions in regards to keeping a patients hearing safe. Have tinnitus as is and it already sounds louder than ever before. Very upset.

Slowest medical office I've ever been. They weren't even very busy. The employees walked a half a mile an hour. I can see why their rating is so low. People not very friendly either. Office waiting area is tiny! My bathroom is bigger. I saw someone say she couldn't be seen because she didn't have her copay. That's really nasty; it is required that Dr. Collects the 20% copay, but noted necessarily that moment. They could have made a payment plan then so you still could be seen

Outstanding service, extremely professional prompt and caring service. 10 stars in my book, the gals were great. My mother is 85 years old. And they handled her with pure professionalism and kindness. And M r I tech made it a pleasurable experience thanks thanks great job

I have been unable to complete an MRI in the traditional closed setup. I had one bad experience and swore I would never have another, but unfortunately Doctors have asked me to undergo MRI’s several times, and several times I have walked away without completing the MRI. I have searched for months trying to find an open MRI that I thought I might be able to complete. I have found such a place in St. Petersburg, Florida. The staff is excellent, the technician is the best I have ever been with, and the MRI machine is absolutely the best. With the help and encouragement of the technician, I completed 2 MRI’s this week successfully! I can recommend Central Imaging Open MRI, with the highest praise possible! They are fantastic!

Absolutely horrific patient compassion or should I say non compassion. I felt like a crash test dummy at that place. Very unprofessional. I will travel to Tampa for a professional experience. Awful place

The staff was so professional and went out of their way to be kind. The office was very clean and my appointment was on time. Thank you.

This facility, despite having a gay employee, was an incredibly homophobic. The gay employee treated me so poorly, he left me alone for a long period of time with no explanation. Afterwards, instead of allowing me to go to the front to find my partner, he pushed me out the back door. I will never go to this facility again.

The tech was friendly and I’m sure the imaging was done correctly but the front office staff is incompetent and unhelpful. Sending a copy of results to a primary care doctor is not an unusual or difficult request, especially one at a huge local provider like Baycare, but she acted like she’d never heard of them and had no idea how to do it. I left flabbergasted.

Staff is friendly. Very aware of sensitive needs. Easy to work with. Have used them multiple times and will continue to for any future needs.

I am appalled at way this place treats patients, if i could give negative stars i would have! Not only was there an overwhelming lack of professionalism, during my visit the nurse practically had me give myself an ultra sound and did NOT leave the room while i was changing and to top this horrible experience off they NEVER sent my imaging to my dr to which i had to call 20 minutes before my follow up appt to get them to send my results (almost a full month after my visit) the woman on the phone was rude and condescending it’s absolutely shameful the lack of care or regard for others this place carries i will not be coming back nor ever recommending this place to anyone

I was never told that I needed to bring my copay with me to appt I'm on disability and I only get paid once a month so therefore they wouldn't see me over a 38 dollar copay which is normally billed to me. Would not deal with these people because they don't care to call you and inform you of this.

I don't understand how I am to trust that this place does its job well when one of there drivers con not even follow basic road rules. Yesterday afternoon around 2: 45pm one of your drivers willfully ignored road signs telling them that they were in a turn lane and decided to drive thru that lane, illegally merge over in the middle of the intersection and nearly hit the front end of my car. This all happened at the intersection of 38th Avenue and 58th street in st. Petersburg.

These people discriminate against large people. I'm 6'3 and weigh 290 and needed a chest x-ray. They said the limit is 275 lbs. It's not like I'm 5' 3" and weigh 290 and have a boat load of fat covering my chest. I am a tall person, which is why I weigh more than the average person. Never again, and I recommend you don't use them either.
