Central Ridge Library is part of The Citrus County Florida library system. Central Ridge is modern, clean and a great place for learning. This facility also has space for community meetings and gatherings.

This library has a great selection of books, DVDs, audiobooks, etc. They also run a bunch of programs going on every day for kids, teens, and adults. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Love this place!

Very loud. I come to try and study for school but there is always a group gathering that are very noisy. You can hear everything in the private study rooms. I wish there was a designated quiet space.

There was not a designated quiet area and if there was it was not enforced. Do not recommend studying there unless your good at tuning out.

Usually ok if the computer lab is available, however, the staff can be Really loud. Right now, for example, they are Loudly discussing the times they can go to lunch.

A lively place with something for everyone. This library system has the shortest waitlist for the best sellers of any library system I’ve ever used. They have a friendly staff and they have great programs. There’s always something going on. Forget your image of the library as this quiet place. There’s a reason the parking lots are always full: Books, movies, exercise classes, magazines, computers, craft Programs, free tax help, techies to help you with your phones and computers or other devices. You name it. Plus they have books and magazines you can take home forever for free and digital sites to download books onto your devices.

As a library card holder, I was happy to have the opportunity to check out the digital e-books. However, more often than not, there is such a lengthy wait to check them out that it appears I have to purchase them if I want to read them in a reasonable amount of time. Now, I see that instead of making more books available to library card holders, the board has chosen to spend a very large amount of money on a digital newspaper instead. So I find my library card to be usless.
