CFS Coffee Downtown reviews
17This place was great! We looked at several places and decided to stop here and it did not disappoint one bit. The carrot cake and beef empanda were amazing with our coffee. Will definitely be back.
Great coffee shop that I ran into walking around. I drink my coffee black and his coffee was good and not bitter. It tasted fresh and not old or burnt. It is rare for me to find good black coffee being that most places do cream and sugar. Pasted my test.
Got a small pastry with my coffee and it was good and tasty. It went well with my coffee. Service was fast, friendly, and with a smile. Can't ask for more. I will be stopping by again if I'm in the area.
What a great little treasure. Small and tucked away but very cozy and inviting. Great coffee and a nice assortment of other items on the menu.
Lovely little cafe in downtown orlando. I like coming here for my breakfast arepa and ice coffee. The staff is friendly and happy to help. Good food and coffee!
Delicious protein smoothie! And it really hit the spot. The staff was friendly & the cafe was clean. I would definitely visit this place when I 'm nearby.
The atmosphere is very nice and beautiful. However, I felt I could not relax completely and the closed staffing is kind of picky. The smoothie I ordered was not great, I could go home and make one way better. I asked the staff to remake it, because it was so sugary and it tasted was pretty strange.
It states online today, the establishment is open until 4pm, however the closings staff closed the coffee shop at 250pm. She politely asked me to leave at that time and tried to decline me access to the Internet, before I placed my order. Believing I was not a paying customer.
Word to the wise - the staff is into high perfection, scary.
Met here for a quick business meeting and was pleasantly surprised. Thoroughly enjoyed the lavender latte. The colorful art on top made it almost too pretty to drink. Protein waffles were also a home run with just enough syrup and whipped cream without being overly sweet. If I’m in the area again, I’ll be certain to return.
Amazing food here I come every weekend to eat breakfast and there drinks are a really great combination of fun and delicious
Jesus ALWAYS takes care of us super dear! The food is delicious, the plating divine and the atmosphere super rich. We love this place a little piece of Colombia.
Very cute, quiet cafe in downtown Orlando with locations around town. They use high quality Colombian coffee and have a good sized food menu for a small spot. Love their pastries. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating and a few cute areas for small groups to meet and relax.
This place was amazing. A group of us were on our way home from a conference and decided on a quick stop. I planned on just getting a coffee and holding off on food until I got home. I wasn't anticipating such an amazing menu. Food was so fresh and full of flavor and so beautifully prepared!
I am very picky about my coffee and the taste here impressed me. Relaxing atmosphere with high quality coffee and tasty pastries. Right in the heart of downtown, this shop is within walking distance of Dr Phillips Performing Arts Center, AMWAY Arena, and even City Hall.
I never thought I would have the best empanada of my life in a coffee shop, but it was fantastic. Their coffee is very good, and the aesthetic is just.perfect for a morning relaxed coffee stop. Stopped by for some brunch on a Friday and the service (while a bit slow) was excellent. The single cashier working was doing his best and he is easily a very friendly face. I adore this place. I am definitely making it a Must Stop By for my weekly downtown jaunts.
It's better than Starbucks, that's for sure, but then again, there's no soul in Starbucks like there is in these corner coffee shops. You can taste the soul they put in the coffee and their food.
Would rate six stars if I could.
A cozy wooden nook tucked into the Church Street shopping center, I needed a pick me up after a hung over night out.
The coffee is expensive for both quality and quantity. I had a tiny $7 mocha that started bitter and ended sweet; could do with a bit more mixing.
Much of the food is a mix of Latin fare and the stuff of health food bloggers; vegan, carefully prepared, laced with fresh fruit arrangements and dabs of cinnamon.
I had the protein pancakes. They honestly were not great, but served as a substantial backdrop to a flourish of bananas, berries, and whipped cream.
This all sounds pretty mid, right? But what really stands out about this place is the service.
Jesús was very accommodating and patient with questions about the menu and with serving me outside - he even took my luggage for the day as I waited for another place I was staying in town to open up! (Please don't use this place as a luggage drop unless you're going to tip very generously:)
For this alone I'll definitely return here the next time I'm in Orlando - But maybe I'll have an omelet next time.
The worse arepa de choclo I’ve had in my life. Tasted like freezer burn and just inedible. Same with the soup. I can’t even describe the horrible taste. And was nothing like what shows on the menu.
And to top off, the service was less than welcoming and downright rude af. Wait time for simple food was insanely long. Should have guessed something was up when it was empty. I guess you should only order coffee in some coffee shops. I didn’t try the coffee but I’d rather pay Starbucks than take a chance here. Zero stars.
Response:
Visit was Sunday January 29th approx. 3pm.
Two ladies were there, the rude one being the server (older of the two)
So happy to have found this specialty coffee shop! Excellent coffee, friendly service and a really inviting atmosphere. Totally recommend!
Everything is spectacular. In the United States it is not easy to find places with specialty coffee. And this one also has a very good brunch and lunch menu, at a reasonable price and with Latin American flavor. If I lived in Orlando I would go all the time.
