Dr. Kollas is a wonderful physician. He listens and is empathetic. He is with my team of doctors at Orlando Health. I see him as a pain management doctor for palliative care for breast cancer. My body doesn't respond to pain meds. Absolutely nothing works to relieve my pain. Although I am in terrible pain, not totally due to the cancer or treatment, Dr Kollas is very understanding. I highly recommend him.

Unfortunately I'm in palliative care. From other experiences I thought this was going to be a terrible ending (of my treatment). I was so wrong Dr Kollas took over and took his time to explain to what was going on. He was always willing to listen and understand I still wanted to fight for my life without negative judgment. With Dr Kollas help I was able get off alot of the treatments and when needed add treatments that we're better for me and my situation. All his staff and nurses are so professional, caring and understanding. I really appreciate this office and all the patience they have shown me over the years. Dr. Kollas is very thorough, knowledgeable and easy to speak with. He is very well prepared before every appointment. He knows exactly what doctors you've seen, changes to your medication, any procedures, surgeries, and test, performed by other doctors since your previous appointment. In other words, he does his homework. Never a long wait time. He respects his patients time and understands those who live in chronic pain. Dr. Kollas is a very sought after Doctor. Securing an appointment for new patients might not be immediate but he is worth the wait. He takes his time explaining his strategy, the effects of certain medication, what to expect and how to prepare. Dr. Kollas will go to bat for you. Recently, my insurance company wouldn't cover my medication and GoodRX wasn't accepted by my pharmacist. Dr. Kollas took the time and went to bat with my insurance company. My insurance now covers my medication. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a better quality of life.

The best doctor who cares so much about his patients. His team and Dr Kollas are very efficient in getting back to the patient with any questions. The care I receive is excellent and has been such a blessing. Being in palliative care for a time and being loved when you see the team and doctor with smiles makes my visits so much better. Dr Kollas is a deeply caring compassionate physician. I come from another state to see him and Dr Cuesta for my cancer care.
