Chainwheel Drive, Clearwater FL

Last few visits to this bike shop and the customer service was pretty poor. I asked if they had different tube sizes than what was on the shelf, and the man "helping" was more interested in refuting my need based on rim dimensions.as I was only interested in a 29x2.3 tube he barked "you are looking at what we have. " Another time I asked if I could have a single latex glove or buy one (so I could replace a wheel without getting chain grease on hands) and the guy at the counter said "nope". I then asked 3 men in the service area and one shot back "Nooo! " with a scowl as if I were asking for service. He then mentioned they only have one box of gloves for their whole business.

Going to find friendlier bike shop for future bike needs. As I don't trust angry people to do a good job.

Came in with a question about my chair seat on a BMX, and got lots of new information and seat raised also the handle bars adjusted. Who knew all that could change the whole ride experience! Knowledgable staff and a good selection of bikes and related accessories. Also a repair service that is on top of things.

Super knowledgeable staff with a good selection of bikes gear and parts. They are also fast with repairs on bicycles and very reasonable on prices.

This is a well run operation, with a staff who want you to enjoy biking as much as they do. It is a full service store with a wide variety of bikes, accessories and an busy service department. I worked with Brent who answered my every question, knew the products, and understood what I wanted from the bike. The bike was good value, the customer service, knowledge and product choice were outstanding. A superior retail store.

Very saddened by the customer service I walked in with my bike to hopefully get new tires as well as a tube as soon as I walked in I was not greated nor helped no one asked me for help fixing anything or just if I was in need of any assistance very sad I’m not sure if it’s the weekend staff but if you come here please make sure it’s during the week and speak to gill or if leos still there they will help you in everything and anything great store just wish staff would be more focused and helpful like my two friends Gill & Leo

I was thoroughly unimpressed with the service department. I would leave no stars if I could! I went in to have my rear hub repaired. The guy in the service department didn't even look at my bike really. He says "you need a new wheel". I have him some push back and told him that I simply needed it broken down and rebuilt with new parts. He say "I'm the professional and I see these all the time".
Well guess what I took my bike to Jim's Bicycle repair shop and he did exactly what I asked to be done and it only cost me $25!
