champion home builders reviews
16Absolutely Unprofessional. As an ex-employee In the lake city florida production plant, the supervisors treat you with respect but the Least amount of care, and let everybody do whatever they want, those who work hard, And efficiently are the ones dealt the worst hand of cards, and receive the most disrespect, and problems from other employees. With professionalism, These problems are addressed to supervisors but not taking care of. It's a never ending daily routine Of the same problems that are addressed but left Silenced. I would not recommend buying a Home from champion homes In Lake City Florida Or becoming an employee. Behind the scenes of the show room/floor is a cruel world.
Worst customer service I've ever encountered. When do send people to fix something, they're not qualified or equipped with the stuff they need, so there goes another day. I just decided to do it myself.
Sub par construction, refuses to complete repairs, refuses to respond to requests for repairs for weeks at a time, constantly claiming warranty has expired on issues that have been brought up to them for months. They are garbage.
*Beware*
This company does not stand behind their product and provides 0 service for repairs!
We moved into our home December 2021. We have several things that need to be fixed. Such as doors not closing (including back door), shower head not working, tub’s plumbing not hooked up. But the big problem is the shower is leaking and has been the entire time we have lived here. I noticed black mold growing on the wall. I began calling February 28,2022. I talk to Danielle the first time I called. She told me there had been a death and she couldn’t send anyone until the next week. That’s the last time I have spoken with anyone. I have left countless messages and the dealer gave me a different number for Marie. She doesn’t answer or return calls either. Meanwhile we have mold in our master bathroom which is making us sick. I guess at this point we need to seek legal counsel.
Poor workmanship for example my walk in shower is an inch and half difference from the bottom to the top way out of level going to have to fix before I can put a door on it
Everything about this home is out of square or not properly secured. Don't waste your hard earned money on these home. I'm worried it's not insulated properly now with opening up walls and ceiling I won't know
Nice place to deliver to. Quick to unload and staff was friendly…. There’s no signage for receiving so I’ve attached a photo of where to go… this is for flatbeds… not sure about dry vans
Very poor Customer service and very poor craftsmanship on the homes. They will not honor their work and they will send out non certified contractors to make the repairs to save a buck. Nobody for champion homes will try to help remediate the mold in our house. DO NOT BUY FROM CHAMPION HOMES.
Home was delivered in early 2017. New built. My master bedroom outside door has never fit the casement. They subcontracted the doors to be replaced. Again did not address real issue- door properly hung. They simply ordered same doors and put in old opening. I am unable to use master bedroom and bath. Now that I have same issue and more damage, they won't even return my calls. Also pay attention to what they substitute in your build. Mine was delivered with different tile and cupboards on a take it basis. I want my 5 year problem and door fixed! Not an insurance issue. Is a manufacturing issue!

Sad eh?
Update: Have discovered subfloor is pressed particle board. Cheapest subfloor available. High risk of moisture damage and floor soft spots. Highly recommended NOT to be used as a subfloor. Especially all you have is a vapor barrier and the ground.
They don't care about how a house goes out all they care about is money and not the customers
Bought a modular home that was constructed by Champion. I am the second owner, and it has been a nightmare.
Between random holes in the subfloor, ductwork issues, electrical issues, and plumbing issues - it has cost us an extreme amount of money to even just bring it up to code. The house leaks badly - everywhere there is a window or door has water damage from terrible seals or just none at all. Everything in the house for trim is MDF, so it handles water poorly.
Do not purchase a home from champion. I'm shocked home insurance providers even cover them.
Beautiful homes and hard workers, but can someone please explain this companies indivual “unexcused” absence policy for me?
Lo peor de lo peor. Worst of the worst. Do not buy a Champion Home. Cheapest manufacturer home builder. A total nightmare!
I hate bad service and this company is the epitome of bad service. I reported to Danielle at their service desk of a leaking pipe under my new home. She emailed me to check a barrier border. I’m not a plumber and have no idea what she is talking about. They haven’t called or came out to attempt to check the problem out. I paid over $80 k cash money for this home through Factory Expo and it has been a horrible experience. The lack of concern from the service department at Champion home builders is a shame. Do not spend your hard earned money at this place. Worse service in the world.
We purchased a modular home from Champion Homes through Custom Homes of St. Augustine. The buying and installation process went relatively smooth. Custom Homes was on the ground and amazing! Also very knowledgeable about the home specs. It was fun to pick the colors and finishes and upgrades. Unfortunately the master shower was installed backwards. Champion repaired the shower but we have since had a leak that they refuse to address (water damage a coincidence? I think not.), despite being contacted numerous times and our home under warranty. We have the issue reported within the 30 day window, and months after again, but no one will return my call at the builder/Champion Homes. We even offered to pay for the service visit and repair, just wanting someone familiar with the product and build. We still love our home, but once you've closed and signed off on the inspection, don't expect any help or contact from the company! Due to this, we would not recommend this manufacturer.
Beware. Homes look nice but they are garbage and the company won't fix problem. My home was installed with an 18 inch cut in the vinyl flooring and a dented door and many other normal things to repair. The door was replaced with another dented door that doesn't latch. They refuse to fix. Terrible company! I'm happy to provide photos to anyone who would like to see what to expect.
Horrible. Delivered our home with water damage and won’t address the problem. Sloppy craftsmanship and multiple damages on a 100k mobile home.
