Charley's Steak House, Orlando FL

Best steak hands down! They even serve bison, which I was especially pleased with. If you also love seafood, their sampler appetizer is the best! A little of everything. Will definitely go again and again. A little pricey but worth it and there is a dress code.

My husband and I came to Charlie’s during our trip to Orlando for our anniversary. The food was amazing. The waitress Erleen took the time to explain everything to us and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to the great taste of the food, we were blown away with how good the service was and the overall atmosphere of the place. Definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

Very very dissappointing. We were really looking forward to a great gourmet experience. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and feel to it, a real classical steakhouse. We had to wait for a table in the bar which was fine, and the drinks and service were excellent.
Then we went to our table. Our waiter was an old timer, and not very good. There were 3 of us. I was the only one with a starter, the scallops, which were served luke warm / almost cold.
My son had an 8 oz fillet, which was cooked perfectly (m), but served cold. My wife had the whole grilled snapper which was overcooked and dry as a rock in the desert. All of the sides were stone cold. My wagyu steak was ok, but given everything else not a good experience at all. The manager took back my sons steak to heat it up and it came back to the table well done and dry. She also reheated the fries and mushrooms, but by this time it was way too late. The manager discounted my wife's fish, the scallops and 1 side.and we still ended up paying a bill of $350 for 3, for absolutely the worst dining experience we've ever had. Would definitely not recommend.

Highly recommend their specialty drinks, but be careful: they taste so good, you can’t even taste the alcohol. Ones enough, because they are very well made. Our server’s name was Williams, aka Chilly Willy. He was personable, and attentive. We shared good laughs. Ask for him, you'll have a great time and be taken care of. Between two people, we spent around $200+ and we would do it again for any occasion. Food, atmosphere and service = five stars.

We came to eat at this place and we had difficulty parking our car in their parking lot as it was full. While we were backed up, one of those red shirt guys (colored guy) working shouted at me vulgar words when I asked him to clear the vehicles in front of me so that we can park. At this point we decided not to eat at this place, you guys just lost a first time customer just because of your rude and disrespectful nasty employee, this was on Sunday evening around 9pm est, no matter what the situation is, no one has right to curse someone who doesn’t know them first hand. Please teach your employees to be friendly and respectful to customers.

Shannon and Adrian were a superb team. Their devotion to service is second to none and made the experience 10x better. Also the wagyu steak was to die for.

Best steak I've ever had. The waitress was amazing and so accommodating. The only thing I would do differently is not order their house salad and get a Cesar salad or regular dinner salad. But I didn't go for the salad I went for the steak and it was perfect. Ty to the Charley team for the great food and hospitality

Charley’s Steak House was a phenomenal experience. To start the drinks came very quickly and staff was friendly and beyond patient when it came to explaining drinks and items on the menu. My company ordered 3 drinks total and I got a drink as well. After ordering our food one of my favorite parts of the experience is the presentation. This portion of your stay includes the staff coming to your table and explaining all of the meats and cuts of fish that were very luxurious. Following this since it was my fathers birthday a manager came out and wished him a happy birthday not only this but we got their world famous international meatballs that are made from various meats. It was delicious. The flavors combined were light but held me over until the entrees came. Once all of the food arrived I was blown away by the beautiful presentation of food. A basket of fresh bread and all of our food was placed in front of us the aromas enlightened the experience even further. I ordered a cut of steak that came with a delicious butter sauce and the the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. They were rich and creamy but the potatoes still kept just the right amount of firmness. The steak itself was filling and tender. The juices flowing out and the butter combined making it the as rich as possible. In conclusion the entire experience over all was just amazing. If your having a special occasion or just looking for a nice restaurant I definitely recommend coming here.

My husband and I had dinner at Charley's on International Drive last night. It was amazing. The manager Nico sat us at our favorite table and Erleen was our server. After a cocktail each we ordered the escargot and shared the Mishima Reserve American Wagyu Steak. It was amazing. So tender and marbled. Delicious! We had a baked potato loaded with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon. We also had the sauteed mushrooms. We enjoyed it all so much we did not have room for dessert. If you have not eaten at Charley''s you are missing out on an amazing fine dining experience!

Wagyu, lobster, and bison were amazing. Highly recommend the creamed corn as well. Erleen was amazing as our waitress, making sure every one of our needs were met. Will definitely be back soon!

A bit too much for the food. But the food was delicious. The fish halibut really fresh and tasty. Rip eyes Dryage was really nice and soft.

Positives first: The alligator appetizer (recommendation) was fantastic.
The Mai Tai was one of the best I've had.
The service was prompt and attentive.
Valet took square.

Negatives: Both the filet mignon and Dry aged T-Bone were over cooked and much less flavorful than a "Top 5" steakhouse should allow.
Lobster Mac-n-Cheese was baked into over cooked triangles with not enough cheese.
The atmosphere feels like a mix between a steak house and a dockside bar.

For claiming to be a top 5 steakhouse, I would put Mortons, Ruth's Chris, Perry's, Flemings, and maybe even restaurants like Saltgrass higher in ability to cook "Medium Rare", and most certainly in terms of atmosphere.

When your a steakhouse and your steaks are a Negative, I can't give better than 3 stars.

Had an outstanding meal at Charley’s SteakHouse on I-Drive tonight. Our server Faouzi was terrific and the fresh halibut entree was the best I have ever had in any restaurant. We are Orlando locals who had never been to Charley’s but we will certainly be back to a great dining experience! Jerry Kircher

The food here was incredible, as well as the service. Our waiter Mattia was excellent and made our night even more special! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the cheesecake was amazing!

We visited here on our anniversary. The staff were great and extremely friendly. They even left an anniversary card on our table and gave us complimentary meatballs. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I must admit, I am a difficult person to please when dining out. I am particular about service as well as the quality and preparation of bith food and beverages. I had my first dining experience at Charley's, and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. The three of us started with smoked old fashioned cocktails along with bacon-wrapped scallops, crab cakes and lobster bisque. Each was cooked exactly as it should be, and delicious. For dinner, we opted for a bone-in wagyu that was out of this world and a dry aged ribeye that was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We shared a plate of fried shrimp that were huge and tasty - I have never had shrimp that big that were still so tender and juicy. On the side, we had the cauliflower-you have to try it to believe how good it is.cheesy and herbaceous. We were excellently served by Shannon and Angel and even ended the night with a lovely chat with Nico. We will definitely be back. If you are looking for an amazing dining experience, this is it. You will be hard-pressed to find better food and service in this area.
