Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Fort Myers FL

Cheddars is great. I used to serve for
them years ago. I love cheddars. I love their food. Their service is great. I loved how they forgot to bring my first date's mashed potatoes, which im sure is because she catfished me, and that's what she gets. I knew she did. They knew she did, and everyone in the restaurant knew she catfished me. The look on my face gave it away and also the look of joy when the server forgot one of her sides. I wqs so happy. Mashed potatoes don't go with catfish anyway. Ill be back Cheddars. Table for one please.

Service was good and friendly. Food was not impressive. Ordered country fried chicken with mashed taters and corn. They serve it on a piece of "Texas toast" it was a rock solid piece of plain white bread that I didn't eat. The fried chicken was perfect but the mashed taters had a funky plastic taste to them. The corn was good. In no hurry to try the place again.

Food was quick to come to the table, and was cooked to perfection. The service was both in the background, but we lacked for nothing from our waitress.

Never heard of this restaurant before this visit but will definitely return and recommend. 3 adults and two kids ate for under 100. Very pleased.

Came in with a party of 9 last night and they had us waiting for a little over 15 minutes, to then bring us over to a table for 8 and said we left an extra chair to see where we could try to fit it between the space given for an 8 chair table space. All this going on with only 2 or 3 other tables being serviced so there was more than enough room to try to accommodate us better and further more for as empty as the restaurant was the food took forever to come out and the server and to be hunted down literally because she would not come to check on her table with us. Plenty more to complain about but that would be the main reason for this review. I love Cheddar's and taking the family to eat dinner together but from Miami to fort Myers this was a terrible difference of service.

Went for the first time because I heard the food was very good. BiGGEST a waste of money I've spent in a very long time. I'll never know because I have no plans of returning nor would I recommend anyone else going. Hopefully, it was just an "off" day. Started with croissants that were well overcooked. Had to flag down the server and ask for drink refills, because she was not coming to check on her own. With so many places putting seasoning on their fries, I asked before ordering about the fries which I was told "no, they don't have any spice on them" and she was right, the fries were very good. However, silly me I should had asked about the steak. At first I thought it was just mine but after asking I found that all 3 ribeyes ordered had so much pepper no one could finish theirs. I know some places that use theur own special spice on steaks and I know to ask for no spice. But never have I been somewhere that used so much pepper it was almost as if the top came off while they were being seasoned. Lesson learned, an expensive lesson but still a lesson.

Took my mother in law here for your 80th birthday and was unimpressed with everything. Ordered side salads with a few meals but when they came out, no silverware or plates for the rolls. I literally had to go find a waitress and asked for help and she stated she would be right over with silverware. Nothing came. Finally when the appetizer came, we begged that server for silverware and plates. He finally brought them.

Dinner was served shortly after. However all got their dinner expect for one in our party. We literally had to ask about their meal and he finally came back with hers. She ordered chicken tenders. First bite she took…it was shrimp. So the chicken tender platter turned out to be half chicken and half shrimp.

Lastly, we told our server several times it was mother/mother-in-law birthday. She turned 80. Was expecting alittle something or maybe it’s against policy to sing Happy Birthday.

Was not impressed and will not return after dropping $150.00. It would have been less of a hassle to just cook at home.

Cheddar's has been a family favorite for about 7 years or so. Decided to take Mom out for a Bday dinner and this was her choice. The food was good although has been better in the past. Also there are some favorites now absent from the menu like the homemade onion rings and the french onion soup which we all loved and were disappointed to see it gone. Had the Key west chicken&shrimp, Mom and Dad had the ribs and steak combo, brother had the Monte Cristo bites. Portions seem to be smaller especially rice or any sides. Our drinks were great. I recommend the Texas watermelon swirl. Service was great our waitress was attentive and had a great smile.

Food and service was great but when I paid at the table my debit card was hacked and I am still trying to solve it! Beware! Don't pay at the table.

Food didn't come the way I ordered it server put it on the ticket the way I wanted it, but kitchen can't read or just didn't, not the first time this happened! Will not return again. Your loss not mine maybe this is the reason why it was so slow in their at 6pm dinner hour. Wake up management it's close to being too late.

Decent meal. Good variety of menu choices. Drinks didn't disappoint. I had the Sangria.

There were many open tables yet service was extremely slow. The food was overall good. The sirloin steak had too much pepper on it.

Love the selection. Great steaks, had a bowl of Potato soup with a side of Buffalo shrimp and my wife had the garlic buttered T-Bone. All very good. Fast service and friendly staff. Clean and fresh restroom.

The food and service was great! It was really busy but they were good at getting things to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The honey butter croissant was amazing! My hubby got the Monte Cristo and loved it! Especially with the raspberry preserves to dip it in. I got the Chicken Alfredo and it was good. The Cheddar's Painkiller was delicious but pretty strong as an FYI. All in all a good place!

When this place first opened, i didn't like the service or food. Years later, We decided recently to see the menu, and to my surprise, it got better. We went a few times now, and the service was great, i love the atmosphere, and the food was awesome finally.

I had Colin as my server, amazing guy, great service. If you come to cheddars he will make your restaurant experience that much better. I am very picky about my servers, most of them neglect you after talking to you at first but Colin makes sure you are taken care of the entire time. Thanks Colin!

A great place to eat and get together with family or friends for a meal, with great service

Very very disappointing. Food was cold. Served like slop. No care with preparation. The place was poorly run. Dirty dishes everywhere. Unclean.

It was our second time coming here. The food was good and the pricing wasn't that bad either.

I ordered pick up and it went really well. I purchased the Chedders trio sampler, which I highly recommend because the tenders were great and I love the artichoke dip. My sister really liked her pasta dish as well.

Place was beautiful. Was excited to try everything at first. Went with a party of 6 and every item was terrible and cheap. No idea how anyone likes this place
