Chens Massage Clinic, Tallahassee FL

Just moved to Tallahassee and was looking for a regular place to go and my goodness was I pleased. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. I’m like a massage connoisseur recommend going if you love a good massage.

Probably the best massage in Tallahassee. They actually give you a full 60 min as opposed to the 45 min you get at Massage Envy. Everything about Chens is simple - You can get a same day appointment, you don’t have to fill out a ton of paperwork, and there’s not a lot of talking that goes on. Just show up, get an awesome deep tissue massage, pay and leave. I love this place! (Oh and they don’t charge extra for hot stones!) $70 for 60 minutes. Can’t beat it! I give Chens a 10/10!

Almost always a great experience. Had appointment time issues in the past but verifying helps. Other than that the actual service is outstanding.

Twisted me up like a pretzel, blew my back out, and had a very happy (professional) ending as always!

I had a reflexology massage on my feet. I had great results on the swelling. I intend to repeat.

Enjoyed group massage with wife and 90 year old mother. They took very good care of us all. Will be back soon.

Lifesaver. They really helped me when I got a knot in my back and helped alleviate a lot of pain. They checked in to make sure I was comfortable with the pressure level. Definitely recommend

This was the first massage I ever had and it was a couples massage for my birthday. Incredibly friendly staff! Full body massage, including eyebrows, ears and and hands! Amazing place! 10/10

I was visiting my friend in Tallahassee and went to Chens for a deep tissue massage. I had Ming and he did a wonderful massage so good I made another appointment for another one before I left town. I have messages on every vacation I take all over the country and this was definitely the best one I had ever received!

Tony was amazing! My back has been hurting for a while and he took great care of my worry spots. Can’t wait to go back!

I've been coming here for well over a year now. I had "thumbs of titanium" Ming, then Toni, but Lucas really was awesome. He was able to work out a neck tension I've had for weeks.

Undoubtedly the worst massage that I have ever had. After about 5 minutes of the first masseuse showing that he had no idea what he was doing and his phone buzzing every 30 seconds I requested a new masseuse. The second masseuse rubbed me for the next 1.5 hours despite me requesting a “deeper massage. ” Likewise, her phone also continued to buzz throughout the entire massage. Do they not realize that this is the exact thing that I am there for trying to escape? In addition, I was not covered appropriately throughout the entire massage. I will never return to this place…such a waste of money for a 1.5 hour massage.

Amazing experience. Lucas was a magician, giving me a nice strong massage. I feel like a million bucks. Will be back soon!

I have been here once before, for an 30min massage and fire cupping session, and the very first time was amazing. The lady was so nice and caring. I left feeling wonderful with lots of markings on my back from the cups which was great, knowing I had lot of stress and anxiety pulled out of me.
I went to the Killearn location my second time and had an AWFUL experience; same services. The massage was subpar and the cups from the fire cupping kept falling off and I had no marks whatsoever when I left.you could tell they had no experience in fire cupping and they couldn’t understand me- so they kept trying to up-charge my service.
I figured I’d come back to the Mahan location to try again for better service. However…
This third time was okay, but not great. Not like my first experience.
I had the same appointment as the lasts; a 30min massage and fire cupping: the massage was brutal- the lady mainly used her feet, which was not expected. I was tense the whole time, no matter how soft or hard she went. There were points I couldn’t breathe or tell her to lighten up.
I am very sore from it and don’t think I was relaxed at all during the massage.
The lady decided to stretch me once the “massage” was done- which was SO uncomfortable, considering I was naked…
She told me to grab her hands and she my lifted my arms back and behind me, exposing my bare chest off the table and I did not like that…
The fire cupping part wasn’t that great either. The cups were put on, and then 2 popped off.
The lady kept checking on me, going in and out of the room on multiple occasions, repeatedly leaving the door open and or cracked… lifting up the bed sheet and standing by me- so in doing so, she saw the fallen ones and re-stuck them. However, I felt no suction at all from the cups… I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t relax at all…when we got done, she rubbed my back for a second with oil and a hot towel and said “okay finished”, grabbed her things and let me get dressed.
Looking in the mirror, I saw absolutely no markings… did I even do a fire cupping service? I know I paid for it? I am so very disappointed. The fire cupping was my favorite part …

All I know now is that I don’t think I will ever be returning to ANY Chen’s location. I will find help elsewhere. I’m nothing but disappointed.

The last review I left on Chen’s Killearn page, I was harassed with calls and messages trying to give me a free massage to take my review down. Do not call me or contact me to change this review.

Update: I left feeling way worse than I did going in. I am so tense and sore this morning after. Definitely will never recommend anyone come to Chen’s again.

Love this place. Professional massage studio for a good price. I booked a 90 min full body massage with Ming and it was exactly what I needed. They spent extra time on my neck and shoulders where I had knots and extra tension. I 100% recommend this place.

Most of massage therapists understand very little English thus the communication is very difficult in order to have a satisfactory massage treatment.
