Cheri Lyn Motel, Treasure Island FL

There is no other place along gulf ave i will stay, but the Cheri-Lyn.
Service is impeccable, cleanliness top notch but most of all, the owners are down to earth great people that make you feel they are your friends.

We stayed at the Cheri Lyn for 3 weeks in July 2023. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Bbq was clean, and extra tanks for it were readily available. There's an icemaker and covered area, clean linens, fantastic wifi, and everything you would need for a kitchen. The only reason I took one star off the room is because it could be cleaner. It wasn't bad enough for me to leave. However, the whole property just needs a deep clean. Pictures online represent the rooms very well. I will return!

The Cheri Lyn Motel is absolutely fantastic! At first glance, it looks like a humble motel, but once you stay there, you realize what a real treasure it truly is. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and land scaping. There is a pool, outdoor tables and chairs for guests to use, on-site laundry, and there's even a communal bbq. They have games for guests, such as table tennis, mini putt, shuffle board, and corn hole. They provide clean towels on a daily basis if needed. It's in walking distance to the beach, a grocery store, and other souvenir shops and restaurants. This is my second time coming with my husband and 3 kids, and we always have fun!

Even though it is across the street from the beach, it is not a deterrent in any way! This place seems very safe. The beach is far from the road that even if you had a closer hotel, it wouldn't benefit you much because you would still have to bring all of your beach things with you.

This is a fantastic little motel and for the price of it, you will be thrilled

If you're looking for a great spot to sleep, relax, and have awesome access to the beach, this is it on a small budget. I'll be back.

Stayed here for a girls trip 5/14/23. Had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable.the salt water pool was awesome and larger than most island pools. Free parking. Close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We have already reserved our room for next year.

Their rooms are very clean and updated for how old this place actually is. You don't see a lot of places like this anymore.

Update 3/15/23: I did leave a voicemail. I could only leave 1 voicemail because your machine was full. I can tell you the exact day I left a voicemail. I also sent 2 more emails that I never received a response to. I can provide you proof of that if you would like. You guys need to join the real world and upgrade your technology. I have happily and easily booked with a hotel right down the road from you. The response from you has solidified my 1 star review.

I called and no one answered so I emailed the address they provided on their website. Initial communication through email was great. They answered all my questions. I expressed interest in booking a room for 3 nights. Since they don’t have online booking, I asked them to call me because I do not feel comfortable giving my card info out over email. I never got a reply back and no phone call. Over the course of several days, I called. No answer. I left 1 voicemail. Never received a call back. I sent another email. No reply. I sent an email inquiry through their website. No reply. I had no choice but to book other accommodations. With the plethora of options in Treasure Island and your lack of a timely response to my booking request, you lost my business. You really need to set up online booking.

TI's best kept secret. Directly in between John's Pass and Caddys on the beach your a short stroll either way to plenty of food and activities. Beach access is directly across the street with sunsets 2nd to nobody. Rooms are all refreshed and a very comfortable size. The pool area is picture perfect, you'd think you were on a chair in Hawaii nestled amongst all the palm trees. We have stayed here numerous times and the Cheri Lyn has never disappointed

Great spot. Have to be csrefull when I recommend it. I might not be able to get in next spring
