This company has really gotten under my skin! I refused a package and they continued to deliver it to me after I had told them I didn't order that item. Now, I have to wait for a refund for something I didn't order. Deleting account as soon as my refund hit! Going back to PetSmart. I want this company to know they'll never get another copper penny from me!

Chewy overall as a company is debatable. This particular fulfilment center, I'd give it no stars if I could. Yeah, I used to work here, but I left because of attendance issues, a miscommunication or misunderstanding between HR and myself over hours needed or required to work over the Thanksgiving Holidays. But I am not upset about it in the slightest, quite frankly, I am relieved because this place was negatively impacting my overall mental health while working there, and believe me when I say, that I AM NOT the only person. The environment here is VERY unsafe, not to mention, VERY toxic. There are far too many people who work at this particular center who are way too careless. Accidents or "near misses" happen at this location way too many times. If not on a daily basis, then at least on a weekly basis. This is because there are too many people not watching what they are doing, or watching where they are going. Mostly because they are too busy rushing around the facility from one location to the next. Either to "make rate", to get to break on time, or simply to get done with their current task quickly. All of the rushing around is causing far too many mistakes. Chewy, as a company, can preach all they want about safety, having it plastered all over the walls as much as they want, "safety this, safety that" "do this, don't do that. " But all of that is pointless if members of management don't hold these repeat offenders accountable, and go after hard working employees for "safety violations" that make absolutely zero sense. I had a female employee once run into the back of my cart TWICE within a span of five minutes because she wasn't watching where she was going. She's told to fill out an incident report and she was still allowed to work there. Complete proof of the lack of accountability. And another person was written up for standing on a move x that wasn't moving, while waiting for a cart. Proof of bogus safety violations to good hard working people. Certain members of management are either jumping to nights or weekends from day shift, quitting their jobs out of the blue, OR getting fired for speaking up against upper management. There is a disconnect between regular employees and management, because upper management keeps hiring from OUTSIDE the company to fill certain management positions. How can you expect someone who has worked there in the same position or area for 4 plus years to take instructions or feedback from a person who has worked there for only 30 days? An example of that previously mentioned toxic environment. Many current employees are beyond frustrated with the environment there, stressed out from fear of being run into or injured by some of their careless fellow coworkers. Stressed out from being ignored by members of management or HR about their concerns about the work environment or lack of pay. There are people there who show up to work BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO, because they got bills to pay, families to support, because they have no other choice. But a toxic, unsafe work environment just makes it not worth it. If you think people drive horribly out on the roads in Florida, consider something before coming here. People drive just as bad inside this building, IN A CONFINED SPACE, just as bad as they do when they are outside on those Florida roads. When I left Walmart to work here, I thought it was a great place to work. And I tried to get many of my people from Walmart to come to Chewy. And every single one of them said no, because they knew then what I know now. I do not know how Chewy handles things at some of their other centers. They seem like a decent company overall. I just know that at this particular center, it is not a good place to work. Chewy needs to take a good hard look at how this center is being run.

You guys need to learn how to pack boxes. 4 times now, you've put 8 bone broth cartons in the bottom, 3 bags of treats and then a 30lb bag of dog food
on top in a too small of a box! What, you short on boxes? You also put the broth in Ziploc bags with the zip open so a lot of good that was. In fact the boxes have been damaged so bad all 4 deliveries they're sent back to you FedEx. And this last time it was 2wks late. I'm sure FedEx is to blame for some of the damage to the boxes but if your warehouse package them right, they wouldn't get damaged along the way! With all this time and hassle, I'll just go to the pet store myself!
Chewy did give us a $50 credit on a $180 order and express shipping for this last order but it's not worth the hassle of having to call chewy 3 times each order trying to track down our order, then finding out it's been sent back to the warehouse because it was damaged then waiting another week to get the order. It's faster and easier just to get it myself!

I have auto-ship orders set up with Chewy and love the regular discounted deliveries! Today I had a billing issue (totally my fault) and called to clarify and make sure that I wouldn't double my order. They answered right away with a nice human, and my issue was resolved in just a minute. Very refreshing in these days when I feel like I'm on hold for ages for almost anything. Thanks for the prompt, excellent, personal service, Chewy!

So they had an active shooter in the building and they still made us work. Putting our lives at risk. A man died because no one was paying attention. Management is a joke. Safety is non existent. OSHA gets paid off. I’ve seen it. OSHA never entered the building, just the front offices. Y’all go somewhere else. For the work and labor you do, you don’t get paid enough. Have some self respect and just go elsewhere.

Chewy as a company isn't a bad company to work for I just would not recommend working for the one in Ocala Florida because a little bit over almost 2 years ago I fell into a really bad place mentally and I committed suicide and I did not blame chewy for terminating me but ever since I've gotten better I have been trying to get my job back at chewy and every time I fill out the application I get due to your past employment with chewy we are not able to move forward and the rehiring process but yet when I call them nobody can give me a straight answer and telling me the reason why I am not being able to able to come back

This is why I will never buy from Chewy again. I woke up to this in my front yard. Couldn’t even bother to put it on my front porch! Never again.

I order from chewy every two months they always get my order correct and customer service is wonderful they even have me call in if I place a big order to verify it's me which is nice to prevent fraud customer service picks right up and always treats me with respect there prices are great compared to stores And free delivery to your door what's not to love about that. Chewy is my place to buy all my dog and cat food no other place will do thanks chewy for helping people like me who need my items delivered and prices are cheaper than retail stores.
