We absolutely loved Devi! She was amazing from the start. She is very informative, sweet and is wanting to do whatever you want for your birth. She is a great support to have. I am so glad we got connected and were able to have her with us!

Devi did an amazing job. Our hospital dropped the ball on many things and we were so grateful to have an extra set of hands, knowledgeable support, and advocate when we needed one. She is a wealth of knowledge and talked me through the very start of my contractions all the way to my post partum journey.

I had a beautiful birth experience with Michelle H.
Her peaceful and calm demeanor brought me so much comfort before, during, and after childbirth. I cannot recommend enough.
Every time I emailed or texted, it was returned so promptly with a wealth of information.

This is a review for both Kathy at Childbirth Concierge and Jessica, the doula that helped me with my delivery. Let me start with the review of Childbirth Concierge overall. I had a fantastic experience, Kathy was very responsive when I had questions about their services, classes and finally when I put in the wrong email and didn’t get a receipt, Kathy sent me one very promptly. What is more is when I had to withdraw from attending a parenting class due to an early induction, I let Jessica, my doula, know and by the time I messaged Kathy to try and cancel the class, she was already refunding me and wishing me luck! Such a positive experience!
Now onto Jessica. I hired her because she came highly recommended by family friends that just had their baby in May. I’m so happy I did! This is my first baby, so despite doing research, I and my husband were very nervous about what to expect during the labor process. From the get go Jessica was very communicative, knowledgeable and punctual. I didn’t have many items on my birth plan, but I wanted to try and not have to push on my back, because it seemed counter intuitive and not very empowering. That means of course that I would have to not get the full epidural, and I wasn’t sure that I can tolerate the pain enough, but between my husband and Jessica providing confident and gentle guidance and hip squeezes (those are no joke), I was able to stay with the walking epidural and give birth in the position I wanted. As every other first time mom I had hoped to not get any epidural at all, but as many of us find out, it just doesn’t end up being worth it. At our first meeting I got the feeling that Jessica was very pro unmedicated births, which is good by me, but I was privately worried that if I changed my mind about getting an epidural, she might not be very supportive. Nothing could have been further from the truth. She was very encouraging and supportive, she helped empower me to stick to what I wanted and feel confident about my choices. Even though the attending dr wasn’t happy about my insistence on delivering on my knees, between Jessica, my husband and me getting the walking epidural and not the full one, I was able to stick to the plan and deliver on my preferred position after a pretty short pushing time. Overall, I felt like even though I had to get induced, I was never powerless during my labor and I had such a positive experience, in part thanks to Jessica and I am very grateful to her! Also she did bring some essential oils that helped a lot and took some pictures of the birth that we would have never had otherwise. Long review, but if you are a first time mom, I couldn’t recommend Jessica more! Oh not to mention, she came by after birth and helped us give our son his first bath, he didn’t even cry!

She’s seriously an Angel! I had mastitis that turned into an abscess. I had exhausted all of my other contacts on what to do and was extremely worried about what could happen if I didn’t get proper advice on what to do next. She answered all of my questions, urged me to get it taken care of at the ER and assured me she had seen cases as bad as mine before, but not to worry. She gave me advice on how to nurse after and took the time to explain how mastitis can even create an abscess, as I was confused on how it was all connected. I cannot recommend her enough!

Devi was the most amazing doula a first time mommy and daddy could ask for. She supported us every step of the way and encouraged us as we waited beyond our due date for the arrival of our son to happen naturally, which was our goal.

Our little boy arrived just one day shy of when they wanted to induce me and we were able to stick to our birth plan of a natural birth because of Devi’s amazing support throughout labor and delivery at the hospital. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone seeking a doula. Her calming and encouraging energy and ability to provide natural pain coping support is unmatched. She genuinely loves her job snd cares deeply for the families she serves.

Thank you, Devi for being there for our family!

It was a lovely experience from the start. Always answered any and all questions fully and in good time.
Michelle was amazing. She truly gave her all, even after my very long and extended labor. She was not only there for me, she was a tremendous support for my husband. Made sure he was taking care of himself too. He also had the peace of mind that if he had to take a break, someone was always there for me. Michelle has a number of ways to help and take care of you, and is always open to what ever techniques you may want to use.

A huge big thank you Michelle

Jessica was an excellent doula! She stayed with me for a very long labor and brought essential oils, provided me with massage due to the amount of swelling that I had going on, and lots of words of encouragement during very uncertain times. I felt that she was incredibly loyal and caring. I highly recommend Jessica.

Kathy is so incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much from her classes. We leaned on her to find a good match for a doula and she offered us a couple options of professional women with impressive resumes. Once we made our selection, Michelle was such an essential support for our pregnancy, labor & delivery from the very beginning. She was a source of peace and calm, evidence based information, and an extra hand in the long hours of labor. She offered creative solutions for pain management and was always there to step in to give my husband a break from the hard work of counter pressure. I loved having her to walk alongside me always just a text away through pregnancy questions, postpartum questions and having her in person and hands on during labor and delivery was exactly what we needed! Grateful to have found this company and specifically Michelle who was such a good fit for our family.

As a first time mom, I took all 3 of the classes offered and I cannot recommend enough. I knew I wanted a birth doula, but didn’t know where to start. Kathy and her team made the whole process simple and were supportive every step of the way. I instantly connected with Michelle H.and asked her to be a part of my journey. She brought peace and comfort before, during, and after my daughter’s birth. Her knowledge was priceless in my hours of labor and even helped me have the strength to handle the hospital staff that I was less than thrilled to deal with. She was supportive, compassionate, non-judgemental, and just an amazing human to have be a part of my birth story. Michelle and Kathy were always very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and I can’t thank them enough!

A first time young mom who was seeking an educational and informative class for my partner and I, and found everything i was looking for and more. Kathy is amazing and will answer any questions and leaves her resources open for you to ask questions after class and even after birth. 10/10 would take this class again.

I highly recommend Jessica for the labor and postpartum care! Jessica is awesome and provides you right tricks to handle the labor pains. Also, in the postpartum sessions - Jessica was due diligent handling my baby and taught me all that we need to know for the baby care.

My experience with Childbirth Concierge was top notch. Michelle was extremely thorough at our pre natal meeting, making sure to answer all of my questions which put my mind at ease. She was so supportive the day of birth, and was extremely helpful with teaching me how to breastfeed. She even came to my house to check on me & baby a few days after we got home. I highly recommend Childbirth concierge to all the new mamas out there!

Kathy worked with us prior to our baby being born and afterwards. We attended multiple of her clases as well. She is very knowledgeable and caring. My baby was arching a lot and having trouble staying on the breast. She even came out to our home to work with us. I have PCOS and she helped me with that as well when it came to lactation support. If you are feeling like you need help at any point before your baby is born or afterwards, I would definitely suggest reaching out to Kathy!
