Chipotle Mexican Grill, Gainesville FL

Ordered ahead of time to skip the line. Ended up waiting in a longer line for pick up. This restaurant doesn't use the pick up rack and keeps everything behind the counter. My order was 15 minutes late. I could have waited in the regular line for less time. The tables and floors had food and napkins all over them. I was not impressed.

I can't get anyone on the phone on 10/23/23 at 9: 30 pm went to the chipotle on Archer Rd Gainesville Florida purchase to chicken bowls with everything got home and there was hair in my food tried calling no one answered so I'm putting out this review to get a response. After spending my money there to come home with someone's nasty hair in my food. Very poor service and unclean store.

The only reason I gave this place one star is because my child likes the queso. The food to me is beyond bland. I mean I'm unsure if seasonings are in the building or not; maybe they forget to add it.each time? The server was slinging food on the plate as if he didn't want to work that day. I kindly asked him was everything ok, and to make my food like it mattered! The food station could stand to be a lot cleaner.especially when people can see all the cross contamination that's happening. I wouldn't eat here again for free or on a dare.straight garbage. Someone told me that I went to the wrong location.smh. Even if the other is better, I highly doubt that I'd risk my taste buds or my peace!

Food was typical Chipotle. Restaurant was more than dirty / unclean. Workers in line were less than friendly. This Chipotle needs some tips on how to keep the restaurant presentable and clean on the food service/ prep counter. And be a bit more friendly to customers.

The food is good but the wait is ridiculous. They need to improve their entire process of food delivery. Many times the line will have 20+ people waiting and they do not refill food in a timely manner. They make to go, call in, and online orders in between the orders of the people standing in line. They do not have enough staff and can not handle the volume of people. It's annoying to wait 30 min for a cheap meal. I often decide to go to another restaurant because i don't want to waste time in line there.

Lots of people walking around the counter but none are doing anything. Took so long to get my burrito I'm eating it cold now. While I was here a lady wanted her money back cuz there was a worm in her guacamole.

First time getting chipotle since i was in California but yall Skimpy as heck. Cashier and staff made up for it! Not even the hardworking people’s fault, chipotle as a company you are trash! You don’t pay people enough to care so i feel them, never coming back fake mexican grill

Edit after eating this: worst burrito ever

I've had multiple bad experiences at this Chipotle, and the latest one really pushed me to finally write a review.

I witnessed one of the Chipotle workers show disgusting behavior towards a group of men who spoke little-to-no English. I was sitting down eating my food and looked up to a white, tall middle aged women who was serving these gentlemen. Since she couldn't understand them, she started LITERALLY huffing and rolling her eyes when she couldn't understand if they wanted a bowl or a burrito. I could hear her huffing from the table where I was eating. She then proceeded to shove an empty bowl in front of one of their faces in an angry matter to get them to "understand" her better as if that's any better.

It's beyond disgusting to huff and roll your eyes in front of these customers who are trying their best to let you know what they would like to eat. It's also crazy to me that she thought this was the immediate solution instead of getting the cashier's attention to help because she was a Spanish speaker.

This is completely unacceptable. She needs some serious cultural competency training.

It escapes me why Chipotle remains so popular. Slightly better than average food served by an indifferent staff does not necessarily entice me to make a return visit. The dining area needs to be cleaned more frequently and the obnoxious music is played too loudly. I found it ironic that I spotted several members of the restaurant staff dining on sandwiches from a nearby restaurant. Admittedly, you can’t eat the same food every day…I just thought their dining choice justified my opinion of Chipotle’s very average fare.

Been here about 60 times in the last 4 months. Used to love this location, but now it’s become a consistent disappointment.

The best: the guacamole and the veggies. For some reason, they taste super fresh here.

The good: Food tastes great 90% the time.

The bad: Wait times for mobile app order pickups have become 40+ minutes. No courtesy update, no letting me know how much more time the order will take when delayed, and no utensils in the bag even when the sticker says utensils are included. Inconsistent service with pickup orders: sometimes bag is at pickup table, sometimes they have it in the back. Sometimes napkins and utensils are in the bag, sometimes I have to go put them in the bag.

The ugly: consistently having all tables dirty, trash on the floor, all trash bags constantly overflowing, insects (ants and flies) next to tables, some nasty smell is in the air, and the kitchen looks very dirty with food spilled all over the place.

The worst: when the customer service is good, it’s ok. Some of the employees are great. Other employees, not so much. When service is bad, it’s pretty arrogant and aloof. I’ve been experiencing more of the arrogant cashiers lately. Arrogance in the sense of ignoring your presence, no eye contact, no sense of urgency, and no apology for things taking 40 minutes more than they should have.

Another unsanitary location. Dirty tables and questionable food preparation area. Location also serves spoiled produce.

Ordered take-out.

Missing items in order.
Pieces of food in ours that shouldn't be. One look inside the restaurant and you see why.

Entire restaurant filthy with food and debris everywhere.
Seems understaffed and overwhelmed and cleanliness and sanitation is suffering for it.

Possible cross contamination of foods with the looks of the restaurant and what we ordered and what we actually got.

Not returning.

Food of horrible. Service is the worst! Atmosphere is really bad. Voted the worst Chipotle in North Florida 2 years running. It's the dirtiest Chipotle I have ever seen. Their A/C is always out. Ice is always broken. Dirty counters, dirty floors, always out of everything, never on time with orders (I have seen up to 45 minutes delayed for web orders, etc.

Just horrible. The other Chipotles in the area aren't much better but not this bad. The one at UF is pretty decent.just always super busy.

Been here several times:

- no queso
- a drop of guac to charge me full price
- no chips… EVERY TIME
- no agua fresca… Every time
- dirty tables
This time they were out of burrito tortillas

We won’t be coming back to always be disappointed every time.

Placed a mobile order, walked in to get it and my drink. Get to the car to see that there are no chips in the bag, walk back in, ask for the chips, go home. Get home to find that the chips are completely stale, and the ONLY part of this order that was correct was the queso. One meal pushed completely to one side in its container like it was dropped on the floor, both that one and the other meal was completely wrong while the labels and receipts are all correct. Cant even eat the food I ended up with because both are SWIMMING in a lake of sour cream and I’m not going back to try and fix it because:
A) my break is over at this point
B) staff there didn’t exactly seem like they had to time to talk
So that’s all just money and my break down the drain. Thanks Chipotle!

I recently visited Chipotle and I must say, it was a major letdown. Firstly, they only had two meat options available, and everything else was out of stock. This severely limited the choices for us. On top of that, they didn't have any queso, which is a staple item for many customers. The lack of variety was truly disappointing.

Adding to the frustration, the customer service was far from satisfactory. The staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and didn't offer any solutions or alternatives. It felt like they just wanted to get us out of there as quickly as possible.

To make matters worse, the meat we did have was dry and lacked flavor. It was evident that it had been sitting out for a while. This further diminished the overall enjoyment of our meal.

All in all, my experience at Chipotle was far from pleasant. The limited options, absence of queso, poor customer service, and dry meat left me feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return in the future.

All the tables were extremely dirty and we had to wipe every spec off our table.

The food was okay. Took a loooong time to order and recieve food. ALL the tables were dirty. If they were short staffed its not the customers fault.

The place when we open door for the entrance was with garbage cans full full was no forks when we ask for them the answer was we out spoons forks the employee was doing my burrito with mad face like didn’t want to be there not friendly at all when went to pay had like 3 customers asking for the money back because the no utensils to eat and a miracle happens they found it.

I've ordered lunch three times from this location in the past two months. Each time it was delivered, I was given someone else's food. The first two times happened back-to-back on the same day (I figured they wouldn't screw up twice, I was wrong). I won't be ordering from this location any longer.
