This is a great local shop that has been around for years, I've used this place to set up most of my guitars

I just had setups on 3 guitars, and a fret dressing done by Chip. He did a great job on all 3. Very friendly and professional. I'm extremely happy with his work. I absolutely recommend Chip's Music.

Super-knowledgeable, great service and pricing. They are glad to help you with guitar setups, amp retubing and repair and are genuinely glad to help you. I’d much rather spend my $$ here than in the big box stores.

I took my parts-ocaster in to get the action reset and just an overall tune up. Chip was extremely knowledgeable and saw immediately what needed worked on once I got my guitar out of the bag. While I definitely liked my guitar before, I love it now. Not only was the work great, but he was very deliberate in making sure that it lasted. Due to the humidity, he let the guitar rest for a day after doing neck adjustment to make sure I didn't have any grain movement after taking it home. This place was highly recommended to me by other musicians and I see now why that is.

Chip is a wealth of knowledge and experience and offers a variety of services and products, new and used. He does repairs and upgrades and has a lot of guitar and bass parts on hand. If you do your own mods he will help you get parts you need. He will sell your instruments on consignment as well if they are good quality and he has wall space. I have both bought from and consigned with Chip. Highly recommend.

Chips a badass. Very reasonable in price and possibly the most knowledgeable in town. My expensive fender acoustic was a gonner and i was told it'd cost $220+ to fix the preamp at another shop but chip told me where find it for $20 on ebay and he installed it for $25

I have been getting guitars worked on, set up and hardware added to for a little over 20 years and the top choice for such work is always Chip. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Do not go get shoddy work with cheap parts at Guitar Center. Come support a local business that I guarantee does quality work!

Chip helped us out with an impossible last minute Christmas gift. Great guy and great customer service

Took my guitar in to reglue the bridge, they didnt remove the bridge to reglue it, they just stuck some glue under either end, and of course it came up again. I took it back, asked Chip to do it properly, they did the same thing to it and it pulled up again a couple days later. I finally took it to Dale's and he removed the bridge and glued it properly and its been absolutely fine for months now. Lesson learned. I take all my work to Dale now.

This guy’s a wizard! Did a fret dressing and setup on my ‘95 strat.it’s like new. He’s also done wood work on a crack in one of my favorite acoustic guitars. If you need anything done to one of your favorite instruments, don’t let anyone touch it besides Chip!
