We booked a month stay here thinking it would be fun to do a Christmas at Christmas.   Electric was fine.   Laundry was fine.   People relatively friendly.

All else, far from fun.

Water has too much Sulphur in it, made my dog sick with diareaha. Use a berky and replace your filters after your done here.   Water does smell like rotten eggs or sewage.

Zero mgmt of the place allows people to walk through other people's site.

Advertised WiFi is non existent.   Not mentioned that it is only at the main hall.

We ended up leaving after for the neighbors insulted my wife for complaining about coming through our site.   On Christmas morning of all things.

Was not informed about water contamination.   Was not informed about no refunds policy.   I didn't sign anything on checking in nor a review of the policies.

Mgmt even offered to get a picnic table and never gave us one.   We waited over a week and dragged one to our site ourselves.

We essentially were used as a money transfer to their bank account.   They don't help their customers nor care about the customer's experience.   Office only open from 9 to 12 and calling after hours you get voicemail.

Don't stay at this place.   We already have a BBB complaint  filed as well as our bank asking for a partial refund.

I've been to hundreds of RV parks, Resorts, State Parks.   over 2 years.   Never have been at a place that once they get your money, they care less about you.   They could've at least come by and asked how we were doing.

Office staff are very hard to reach, they have very limited open office hours. We booked over the phone but never got a confirmation email and couldn't reach them again, so we just hoped our site was available when we got there. (it was, thankfully)
I believe this was once a very nice campground but the upkeep isn't there.
Most of the campers (i think at least 90%) are long term rentals from up north. People were very nice and friendly. Sites are rather small and on top of each other, roads are not well kept and fairly narrow. Our site had a wood deck (which one was super nice and good size) but had a pretty good size whole in the middle of it, right by the steps. I thought it was pricey. Over $100/ night is the daily rate. We just had an event nearby that's why I picked this place but it's convenient for a weekend trip.

Noy a hotel/motel/lodge. An rv campground as well as more than seasonal campers. Conveniently close to Kennedy Space Center, which is the only reason we would book here again. We paid less per night at other locations that had concrete parking pads and far fewer permanent sites, and better water pressure. It's not worth the fee cherged.

Manager doesn't drink the water and neither did we because of all the sulfur. A let down given the premium price of $101.25/night after tax. There are places closer to Orlando or Space Coast. I come here because my work office is 20 minutes away but next time I'll stay somewhere else. Prices went up since last time I was here and the park has cleaned up some of the long term trashy people but you're still parking on gravel and listing to tractors/fork lifts at 8am. Suppose if you want to join in on the community dinner nights or fire pit you get some additional value for the amenities you don't find elsewhere but I'd rather have quality basics like water.

Campground was convenient to our ravel plans and had availability. It's quiet and friendly campers welcomed us. The negative is the roads are in poor condition with some potholes filled with large rocks. Our site was grass that had not been cut and site has poor drainage. The CG staff are never in the office and difficult to reach. Facilities are clean and well kept. I give it a 3 overall.

This is a quiet, affordable park and I dare say, the best east of Orlando and only a short ride into the city. One other option to stock up on supplies is heading east into Titusville.

The pool is imaculant; beleive it’s a salt pool because I didn’t detect any clorine in the water. The pool is well maintained daily.

Excellent washer and dryers for a very reasonable fee.

Bring everything food wise with you, as the local “Grocery Store” is simply an overpriced bodega, a mix between a Dollar General and Seven 11. My wife tried to order hot food the first few days we were there and was told they were temporarly closed do to the health department and a misunderstanding for which the Health Department was completely to blame.

There is plenty of hiking and mountain biking just down the road where you turn in, but instead you go straight to the dead end. Hundreds miles to explore, this is a giant Watermanagment district and the Semimnole Ranch Trailhead. A portoin of the famous Florida trail runs thorugh this part as well.

Staff is friendly as are people in the park. We were off season so many of the activities were done for the season. I imagine during season there are a ton of things going on for folks every day.

Just down the street is an Aligator park of sorts, you can see gators, as well as purchase gator burgers, go on a airboat ride, etc. See informatoin inside the receration club house for more information.

This time of year, the person who checks you in / out is available from 8: 30am - 12: 00PM M - F though you can phone reservations and they will leafve everything you need up front and you can self check in.

Yes, there are rules but they don’t send out the gestapo looking for every little thing you might be close to doing wrong. Just use common sense and treat your neighbors as you would like to be treated and everything should be awesome! - CHEERS

This Rv park is popular with the Snow Birds during the winter months. We arrived in March 2022 and left in 2023. The park has a lot of scheduled activities during the winter months then becomes a quiet park for the full-time campers. There is a very nice pool, which has solar heat. Shuffle board and Bocci Ball courts are popular during the winter months. There are many opportunities for get togethers at the park such as Wednesday potluck suppers, Sunday Bingo with ice cream, and Friday campfires with burgers and hot dogs included. During the rest of the year, it is pretty quiet, but the park does do major holiday meals.
The sites vary in size but can be of a decent size. You can decorate your site to suit yourself. Dogs are welcome. You can put fencing around your site to contain your dogs if you wish.
The park has 2 large buildings for group activities plus a second shower room and a second laundry room aside from the one in the main building. During my time there, I always found the common areas to be very clean. The year-round people are friendly and helpful. Hope to return!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of communicating with the Christmas R V Park prior to a possible upcoming stay, and I must express my deep disappointment with their lack of proper compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in relation to service dog access to venues where food is served. This concern was further highlighted by their own admission in email correspondence.
As a person with a disability who relies on a service dog for daily assistance, I have come to expect establishments to be well-versed in ADA regulations and to provide equal access to all individuals. Unfortunately, Christmas R V Park proved otherwise.

In an email exchange with their staff, I specifically inquired about their policy regarding service dogs and their access to areas where food is served. Their response acknowledged their non-compliance with ADA guidelines, revealing a disconcerting lack of understanding and disregard for the rights of individuals with disabilities. This level of negligence is simply unacceptable.

The disregard for ADA regulations regarding service dog access to food venues at Christmas R V Park reflects a systemic failure on their part. It is crucial for businesses to be well-informed about the rights of individuals with disabilities and to implement appropriate policies that ensure equal access for all. Unfortunately, Christmas R V Park falls significantly short in this regard.

I strongly urge Christmas R V Park to reevaluate its practices, educate its staff on ADA compliance, and implement necessary changes to ensure that individuals with disabilities are welcomed and respected. By failing to do so, they perpetuate discrimination and create a hostile environment for those who rely on service dogs for assistance.

In light of my disappointing experience and their explicit admission of non-compliance, I cannot recommend Christmas R V Park to others seeking an inclusive and accommodating environment and will be taking my business elsewhere. I implore them to take immediate action to rectify this matter and prioritize the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities.

Honestly, it's clean and quiet (not counting the noise from FL 50 about 100 yards away). Nice people, pool in good shape. I would rate it higher, but I found a place about 8 miles away (Great Outdoors) with far more amenities, and it's the same price. So at the price point, I wouldn't recommend. You can do better. But objectively, they do a nice job with what they have. Staff absent though presumably reachable on weekends. (Place I just mentioned has a 24/7 staffed gate - and same price.) Would book there next time. Really, if this place dropped their price accordingly, say $70/night, they'd be more competitive. FYI the wifi sucks, but that's the case at most places we've been. I spent the day at the pool not for the pool so much as it's the only place the wifi doesn't suck. Speaking of the pool, the crawler (I'm sure it has a different name) was plugged in and in the pool, not moving. The cord was strung across the pool, an obstacle to swimming. A lady came over and asked me if I thought it was safe since it was electrical. I knew it was, but I unplugged it to make her feel better. Sloppy, guys.

We spent a week here. My first impression was that we way over paid. Nothing paved, anywhere. Gravel roads, some of which where being refilled with gravel while we were there. Lots of Michigan, Minnesota, and other tags from up north. I assume it's a Snowbird Haven. There seemed to be a community of sorts amongst them, which was nice. Don't expect to ever see anyone in the office, though. Maybe it was because it was Christmas? But the office was never open while we were there.or maybe just not while we were in the park. The dog park is nice and clean. The water pressure, though, is pretty abysmal. I've seen a few reviews saying that the tap water was sewage-y or disgusting. I can only assume they've never had Florida water. That's the way it tastes to those of us from elsewhere. I drank from the tap the whole week, no issues. Lots of full time folks with pretty run down rigs. Lots of abandoned rigs, too. Some even tarped up. Not sure what that's about. All in all, I doubt we would return.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The park was fine. The space are decent, it has a lot of pine trees which is nice.
The roads are gravel.
The only downside was the water. They have to find the way to get better water. It was stinking. My daughter got allergic from the water.

I cannot rate anything, so don't take my word on it. There are Florida Trail thru hike videos I've seen that have said good things about their stays. I was just dayhiking near it.

I feel it is over priced with us having 35 years of camping and traveled many miles. No wifi, no cable tv, gravel roads with plenty of dust, lots of highway road noise, and the water smells like sewer. Can't say about the showers, we didn't use them. On a good note, Mark the manager, was nice and helpful, they do have some activities, coin washer and dryers for convenience. Park is mostly clean with the exception of the older trailers that desperately need repairs that I assume are full timers. Mixed about if I would stay again, but guess I would if the need was there for that area.

Our experience has been very good. Mark and Denise have always responded timely with any messages left. The park is kept clean and has a good clientele. This is our third year staying here for the winter. Nice camaraderie of folks… Very accommodating family!
