I always receive exceptional care from the Port orange group and Dr Alexander. They have my full confidence. It seems every time I go there are new additional procedures in place to protect either patient personal medical safety in treatment or patient privacy.

The doctor was knowledgeable and articulate. However, the PA was less than professional. She was too interested in sharing her story and issues rather than taking my husband's medical history. The appointment call center was so backed up I was on hold for 35 minutes and then was cut off. Thank heavens for Jennifer in the office who came to my rescue and set up the CT scan for us.

The office staff are always very courteous, helpful and efficient. The nurses are kind, caring, and no matter how busy their day is, they always make each patient feel like a priority. I’ve had wonderful care from everyone at the facility. Dr Alexander and Janelle have always take the time to answer any questions and explain things very well. I’m very grateful for the care I’ve received.

Dr. Alexander and the entire staff are the Best! They have always taken super great care of me! I love them all like Family!

Always a great experience when Kelly comes to your office. Everyone is courteous and professional. Both Doctor Alexander and the physician assistant are very caring and always have time to listen to our concerns.

My latest appointment with the health care professionals at the Port Orange office was excellent. Dr Chris Alexander is the gold standard for physicians. FIVE stars!
Conversely your centralized scheduling group rates ZERO stars. The scheduling process for my CT scan prior to my 8/21/23 appointment proved to be quite the endurance contest. Much time on hold, transfers, etc. The latest attempt to schedule my 2024 follow up scan was no better. I attempted to return the call only to be told that the extension I was given was incorrect despite listening to the voice mail 3 times for accuracy. I left a message with a live operator at 1: 20 pm yesterday and have yet to receive a return call almost 26 hours later.
Out of pure frustration, I called the provider directly and confirmed the needed 2024 appointment in a 3 minute call.
If it wasn't for bad Customer Service, you wouldn't have any!

This is the best best for care, knowledge of what they are doing and great compassion love them all dearly

The staff at Florida Cancer Specialists, Port Orange always make you feel at ease at a tough time in your life. I transferred my care from Dana-Farber in Boston when I moved here last year. It must be tough to take on a cancer patient right in the middle of his treatment, but Dr Alexander and his staff have been great and I’ve had excellent results. The entire staff is very attentive and responsive. Everyone from the front desk at Port Orange to the girls giving the chemo and immunotherapy treatments are great! Nothing bad to say!

Dr. Alexander, Medical Onconogist, has been taking care of me for a long time. The medical care he gives is pro-active and nothing short of outstanding. Patients know there is much more to caring for people like me (Stage IV NSCLC) than just medical care. This doctor gives me the time and attention I need to make sure that all of my questions are answered before I leave his office. He is attentive, compassionate, and personable. In my experience, this is not a combination found too often in medical care these days. I get the sense that he genuinely cares what happens to me. It is obvious, this is just who Dr. Alexander is and I have no doubt he treats every one of his patients with the same respect, medical focus, and personal attention. Ten stars and a very strong recommendation to anyone ever in need of a Medical Oncologist.

Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. I seldom have to wait for my appointment time. I'm called shortly after my allotted time. Dr. Alexander and his PA Janel take the time with you and explains things that i have concerns about. I'm so glad I was sent to Dr. Alexander.

Dr Alexander saved my life and caught the cancer in time so I didn't have to have any chemo treatments.but I'm still under his care and I thank him for it all

Friendly staff. The doctor is amazing. He reviewed all of my medical history and explained what actions he would recommend and answered all of my questions. He really cares which has been increasingly hard to find today.
