Very surprised that anyone gives this place a good review. We tried many different things. Egg rolls, dumplings, pork buns, won ton soup, chicken and vegetables, beef and scallions. Nothing was very good. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to go. We spent $70, and wish we hadn’t.

Let's get to the point. Are you a Mapo Tofu lover like me? Then this is the place where you want to eat! The last time I ate this dish was in Hong Kong, and I was reluctant to get it from Chuan Lu Garden Orlando. I am glad I did cause wow! It was delicious. 100% guarantee the taste that you crave! Thanks for the quality and taste! I just added this to my favorite list of Orlando!

P. S - The Sesame Balls are great too!

Me and my husband frequent this place, we live in the area. It's nothing short of reliably delicious and authentic 10/10 times. We eat here so often I have had to put it in our budget. My favorite is the cumin chicken (not on menu but they will make it, same as cumin beef) THE LAZI (pronounced laahhh-see) Tofu is the best tofu I've ever eaten in my life and is vegan. Water spinach with garlic (it's nothing like spinach lol) is so tasty and a great compliment to any dish. They have excellent selection of dim sum! Shrimp balls are my favorite. Cannot recommend enough.

I came back to add more detail to my star rating. This place was very nicely decorated inside, and even had a robot as a seating host. Yes, really. The menu was EXTENSIVE, and featured many dishes that seemed to be more authentic Chinese, because frankly I had no idea what a lot of it was. I was not adventurous on this first time ever visit, and got some Americanized General Tso's chicken, Won Ton Soup, and an Egg roll. All were delicious and perfectly prepared. Our hostess was extremely friendly and we had a nice chat with her after lunch. All in all a great place, and next time I may try something a little more "real" Chinese! Price wise, for lunch the tab was under $25 which was also amazing. Definitely recommend this place!

Without a doubt my favorite place for authentic Chinese food in the greater Orlando area. I've been going here for years. Between me and my best friend, we recommend the mapu tofu, pork belly, and spicy cabbage. I've also really enjoyed fish here as well. I'm never disappointed and always excited to come back! I've also had nothing but good experiences with the service. Years ago my friend's car battery died in the parking lot and the manager of the place helped us jump start. Also love the robot they got more recently to show guests to their tables, very cute.

Good lunch special for the money. Some of the staff doesn't speak English so you may get something other than what you ordered, but everything I've had is pretty good.

Hands down one of best tasting Chinese restaurant in Orlando. Beats the other so call more popular restaurants around as far as taste. Very good and authentic. My favorites are the fish filet in chili sauce and pork belly. The big older gentleman whom I think is the owner is very friendly. However, the staff attitude and service could be better.

Nice place, has an authentic feel to it. Very extensive menu including dimsum. Parking is in the back. We had mu shu, spicy fish, Chinese spinach with garlic, and BBQ lamb on a stick. All very tasty/well prepared. Service was excellent, and our orders were prepared surprisingly quickly. We will definitely go back.

I found a cigarette butt in my order. They would not refund me, but offered to make the me same dish.

I'll be relaying this to the health department. Food has been fantastic previously, but this is a total deal-breaker.

I didn’t like the pig ear dish but they gave me a ton of free white rice so I can’t complain. The rest is really good tbh.

Really great food, quality. Some stuff isn’t my favorite but it was just a matter of preference. Also be careful of the spicy stuff, they are t playing around.

This is one of the few Asian restaurants that is open late night. Located central to the little Vietnam section of colonial drive.this place has food that is on point the ala carte options can get a little pricey. But this is a must visit when in the area.

Ordered hot pot and some beef that I forgot its name
That is not hot pot I expected.it's not hot pot at all.
And the beef thing wasn't so good.
I seated on a booth, and the couch I sat on was sunken.soo uncomfortable

When we are in the mood for authentic Chinese food (the kind served in China, not the Americanized version of Chinese food) we almost always head to Chaun Lu Garden. From Lazi chicken to cumin lamb each dish is unique and authentic. Beware, their version of spicy is incredibly mouth burning spicy. Better start with mild and move up if needed. Their braised stone pot eggplant is spectacular and the chrysanthemum tea cools the taste buds after the spicy bites. YUMMMM

Without a doubt the best Chinese restaurant in Orlando. Something to try is the Dan Dan Noodles.
