I was very nervous about not only finding the right wedding dress but especially nervous about finding a seamstress I could trust. I had to go to my first appointment alone and from the moment I walked through the door Ciara made me feel welcome and at ease. She's super fun to work with and truly does an incredible job. She makes sure your bridesmaids know how to bustle your dress even if it means recording a video to remember how its done. She has a super cute location which is really easy to find and is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Ciara's Alterations and she is in high demand so I definitely recommend reaching out as soon as you have your gown!

I was pretty alone in planning my wedding, and I know this is the time where your mom and friends should be surrounding you when you go to a bridal fitting. However, my friends and I always had different work schedules and my mom lives far away and found it difficult to travel. The amount of energy and love that Ciara puts into her work made me feel less alone and more at ease coming to these bridal fittings. I was also between two dresses and she was so understanding and patient with me. I don’t know if you’ll find another seamstress out there like her. Thank you Ciara for making me feel so beautiful on my big day, but more important, more appreciated and understood in the “smaller moments” like the fittings.

If you’re looking for the perfect seamstress in the central Florida area to care for your wedding gown, look no further. Ciara is first and foremost an expert in her craft and takes care of every clients gowns as if they were her own. I don’t have enough kind words to describe my experience working with her but her professionalism and kindness start the moment at first interaction.
Setting up my appointment was a breeze, but do be warned to book ASAP as she is in demand (for a good reason!). Her bright personality, professionalism and knowledge shine through during your appointment as well as she greets all clients with so much warmth and excitement to be working on your wedding gown.
Even though my gown was a made to order dress, it was advised by the company to secure a seamstress as it is made in size ranges and while some brides need zero alterations, some may wish to make a few. I had an unfortunate experience with the manufacturer of the gown that resulted in me having to quickly change my appointment date with Ciara. The gown was to arrive 8 weeks before the wedding date and my alterations appointment was 7 weeks from the date. Well, a manufacturing error in the gown resulted in me having to ship it back to Australia and I wouldn’t receive the gown for another four weeks. As you can imagine my stress of this error so close to my wedding day, Ciara was so kind, reassuring and accommodating in moving my appointment to a new date that was extremely close to my wedding date without penalty. Her poise and kindness were helpful in keeping me calm about this massive schedule upheaval. For that alone, I can’t thank her enough.
My alterations were fairly minor when considering the spectrum of needs, and included a bustle and strap adjustments. She truly helped make my gown the perfect gown for my big day! I recommend her to every bride in the area asking for a seamstress to care for their gowns.

The 5 star rating if this shop is no exaggeration for how wonderful it is. Ciara was able to hem, add a corset, add bustles, and add lace off the shoulder straps to make my dress my dream dress. She is also the sweetest and makes sure to bring your vision to life. I accompanied a friend to her dress fitting at another place in Orlando where 1 seamstress was serving 4 people at once. Ciara has only 1-on-1 appointments to give you her undivided attention. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for bridal alterations!

I purchased a dress last year. I really loved it but I really felt that sleeves would just make the perfect match. I am so happy I found Ciara because she is an alterations genius. She was able to make sleeves for my dress that matched completely and my dress fit perfectly. She added pearl buttons on the end on my sleeves that worked perfectly with my belt. I was also having such a hard time finding the perfect veil and thankfully she makes them and she had the perfect one for me. There is no one else I would ever recommend. Ciara is like a fairy Godmother.

Ciara is a true gem on the Space Coast! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars because she more than deserves it. Her workmanship is absolutely flawless. She hemmed my dress and added bustles. My sister (MOH) was nervous about bustling the dress and was not able to make my final fitting to see them so Ciara filmed a video with her coworker bustling my dress and talking through how to do it so my sister could see how to do it! The bustles were beautiful places and impossible to see when the dress was down. When it was bustled, the dress transformed in to a spectacular dress that looked like it had always been like that. But the best part of all working with Ciara is her. She has an infectious personality and radiates positivity. When I first met with her I was nervous and did not feel 100% confident in myself and how I looked and Ciara made me feel amazing. During the entire fitting she was the best hype woman. She continued to be like this every time I met with her or talked to her. She will make your dress look beautiful and more importantly she will help make you FEEL beautiful every step of the way leading up to the big day. You can feel her passion for her work and her brides and I am so blessed to have worked with her! I highly recommend her to all brides for any of their needs!

If looking for bridal alterations, you have found your girl! Ciara is AMAZING in every way! She is sweet, fun upbeat and makes the whole experience so fun. She has the most adorable shop & even a boutique to shop around in! She did an amazing job with my dress, and gave me some tips for the perfect look. One of the best parts, she is incredibly affordable! I couldn’t believe her prices compared to some others, for the best work!

What can I say other then Ciara is amazing! She is hands down the best seamstress. Not only did she do amazing on my wedding dress but on my bridesmaids’ dresses as well. We had some dresses that just weren’t measured correctly and the sizes were off but she worked her magic and got them to fit the girls perfectly. Thank you so much for everything Ciara!
