Our salesman was great! I never write bad reviews but I am seriously disappointed and dissatisfied. We were supposed to receive a dining table and 4 chairs on Nov 1st. We were never informed that this table would not be coming with a table top and that the table top would be on back order for another month. We were given no choice to cancel the order then the delivery guys dropped it off and said a part is missing and left. We were given no choice but to accept a table with no table top. 3 of the 4 chairs were damaged. The order was completely unacceptable. On top of that I could not get into the system with any of my info to make a claim and Because we were moving and I work full time I was unable to find the time to tend to this for another week. I was then told I have to use my warranty to repair the damaged dining chairs they brought us! This is the first time in years I have been this displeased with city furniture and will never use them again! The representative at customer care was also rude to me and when I asked for his supervisor he refused then left me on hold till I hung up! As you can see by the pictures they were beat up and unacceptable! And Not by us since we can’t even use the table because there’s no table top!

UPDATE: finally a repair guy came to fix the chairs that were damaged upon delivery and he said 2 chairs were beyond repair. Then I waited for the delivery of my table after a month of waiting and they were 45 min late outside of the 3 hour time frame and then tell me the buffet server i ordered was on back order still even though it was in the email that it was being delivered today! Completely unacceptable! I posted a picture of the delivery that clearly says the server is being delivered! Never shopping here again!

My salesperson Linda only cares about taking your irder and making her commission. Bought lots of furniture here snd when something went wring she washed her hands if trying to fix it. She said she contacted her customer service and no one ever contacted me. Had to hire a handyman to put my bed together and ge had to drill holes in the headboard because the frame did not fit properly.because their customer service never contacted me despite my numerous emails to Linda Copeland. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from this store

My experience at City Furniture was great. Lance Zazulia was so friendly and helpful. He took his time with me and went out of his way to help me make the right selections. I'm so excited for my delivery to come. Also, Daniel was a big help with cost and giving the best discounts. Thanks so much Lance and Daniel. I would recommend City Furniture. Ask for Lance Zazulia.

City Furniture is awful. I purchased a bed with a storage drawer. The first 2 boxes of the bed came without the third box for the storage drawer. The first two boxes came missing legs and hardware. I called and they sent the legs but no hardware. They said they would be delivering the drawer soon and will exchange the first 2 boxes and after going back and forth they agreed to assemble the bed for me for free to ensure all pieces were there. They came when scheduled and put the bed together. The only issue is the drawer did not come. I asked where the drawer was and the delivery drivers only knew they were exchanging the first 2 boxes and assembling the bed as a platform bed. The drawer was apparently still on backorder. Now a week later the drawers come, I ask the guys if they are assembling and they said no just delivering. So now I received 2 drawers with no hardware and no idea how to take the bed apart and reassemble. At this point, I want a refund. I submitted a claim and hear nothing back. Still waiting on hold. Their customer service line is always bust and just awful.

Made multiple purchases at the same time, wishing I didn't order anything from them. I ordered a sectional with the stain warranty. O submit a claim and no one responds. Still waiting on that.

Dresser came with broken legs, I submitted a claim and they did set up an exchange. Got a notification delivery would be Saturday 3-6pm, they showed up at 11 to no one home. Got a call from city furniture saying they couldn't deliver because the dresser was damaged on the truck. No, they couldn't deliver because we were not home and I spoke to the delivery driver who tried to deliver at 11. Then I get a notification delivery today but again we are not home. I said no we can not accept delivery. Now the dresser is on backorder and will not get till December 20th. Ummm it went from being delivered today to now on back order? How?

I will never order from them again

After my bad experience with this company I will NEVER do business with them again. Months ago I ordered a dining room set with the assurance it would arrive way before Thanksgiving. After many delays and excuses for delivery it was finally scheduled to arrive. It did except without the main piece, the table, after I was assured it was being delivered. Now I'm told it will be delivered in 2022. So when my family and I are sitting on the floor eating our turkey dinner, they will know why. I've already contacted customer service. They couldn't help correct the order so everything was returned. I just wish they were up front and honest.

Louis is great! Wouldn't use anyone else if you go!

On the other hand, City furniture falsely advertises their best sales on black friday/cyber monday. But what they fail to advertise is that they raise the prices of the furniture to offset the sales. I actually stopped in the store a week before black friday just to get an idea of what I liked for living room set. Took some pics of the sofa set including the prices. I was amazed to see that once the sales begun they actually raised the prices of all 3 pieces well over $200 each. And with the sale price the total cost was almost $400 more than the prices the week prior. Go figure. Ill look elsewhere for now.

Awful experience. We purchased a couch on November 20th with promised delivery on Dec 1st. I received multiple email confirmations regarding delivery up until Dec 1st. It was important that we receive it in December, because we move to North Carolina on Dec 13th. City furniture is only in Florida, so we were going to take the couch up to NC in a moving truck ourselves. On Dec 1st, I received multiple texts. The first said my delivery would arrive between 3 and 6 pm. The next text arrived at noon, saying our couch would be delivered within the next hour. Hours later, still no couch has arrived. I checked the delivery tracker, and it said we were stop #8 and the delivery team was at stop #9. So clearly something was wrong. I reached out to customer support, which took about 10 minutes to respond to every chat. We find out that the couch we ordered actually isn't in stock until JULY 29th 2022. That is 8 months from now. City furniture had weeks to inform me that the couch wasn't in stock. Instead, they continued to message me like this nonexistent couch would be delivered. Had they been honest sooner, we may have been able to secure another couch. However, now Black Friday and Cyber Monday has passed and stock is slim everywhere. Only after I pestered customer service to respond to me did they realize that they've never had the couch for us. The customer service agent online even said "Its possible the couch was damaged". City furniture doesn't even know if their own stock is damaged or available. What an absolute lack of quality control and internal controls in this company. Furthermore, their only offered solution was for us to purchase a more expensive couch and we pay the difference. Why should WE pay more for City Furniture's mistake? What a scam of a company.

I WAS IN AND OUT IN LESS THAN A HALF HOUR. THE SALESMAN WAS VERY NICE AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. I WOULD AND WILL DEFINITELY BUY FROM HERE AGAIN.

Update: the problem was resolved within 2 days. The new couch is beautiful!

We had many service issues with the delivery of our new couch and removal of the prior one we bought from them. The delivery staff lied to us to make their job easier, causing us huge headaches and inconvenience.

On September 12 I bought a table at City Furniture in Jensen Beach. The employee told me that I will need to wait until October 8, that day they never came, they never called me and when I went to check on the web side, they told me that they were going to send it on December 4. I called customer service even spoke to the manager, they didn't give me any solution. The next day they sent me an email saying that the delivery would be on October 23 and once again when checking on the web side it says that the delivery will be on December 4. I called customer service they offered me another table but none fit what I need, also, I am the customer and I am the one who pays and the one who chooses. I said that the solution is that they send me the table they have in the store and on December 4 they send me MY table and they also refused, but what they clarified is that I have to make the payments on time because otherwise that will be a problem for me. I am really confused WHO is the CUSTOMER.

I am a realtor who enjoys flipping properties. I usually live in the property while I renovate. I’ve lived in different areas of South Florida. I’ve always shopped at City Furniture. This company is the best, and has the best furniture. When I entered this particular store, I was approached by a sales representative named Louis Reyes. He was great. I purchased three items, after Louis helped me work out my deal. Louis is extremely knowledgeable, and has the salesmanship skills needed to be successful. City Furniture is fortunate to have him.

We we chose City furniture to find what we were looking for 2 chairs & a love seat. No plan on color. Or style Steven H.showed us a section where recliners chairs where displayed.we chose chair with adjustable Head! Price was right! Also on the way I found an accent chair sooo comfortable added to our purchase. Lastly we saw a beautiful love seat in a shade of deep blue was the right design & comfort level. Within an hour of entering we left with sofa & chair to be delivered in 2 days. Recliner available for delivery on My Husband’s Birthday! How lucky is that!

Saw a nice grayish-brown table and chairs on the showroom, but when they were delivered to the house they weren't so grayish, just more brown, which didn't match our decor.

We called the store, but to our surprise, the furniture could not be returned or exchanged. We offered to pay for the furniture to be picked up, and/or return it ourselves, but apparently per policy, in-store purchases are only refunded if you cancel your purchase one day prior to scheduled delivery, or you can cancel the day of and pay $99.99 restocking fee.

Meanwhile, if we had ordered online, we could have received a full refund if we had canceled the purchase within three days after receipt of delivery. As illogical as that all is, I guess shame on us for not reading the fine print.

Funny thing is, the replacement table and chairs we wanted were much more expensive, so by refusing the exchange they essentially lost money, and they lost more money when we canceled the guest bedroom furniture we had ordered during our original visit.

Well, I guess they didn't "lose" money since they got ours, but they did lose customers, and our negative word of mouth campaign has been in full force since.
