City of Boynton Beach

The one great thing downtown Boynton did was pirate fest. The city was able to mess this up as soon as they got their hands on it. Costing the downtown bussiness tons of money and publicity.

That city is prolly one of the worst in terms of camera light tickets. I got a ticket and I chose the appeal options. 20 days later I receive a letter that my fine was double and I did not show up my hearing. I never received an hearing noticed. This is such a sham!

Who is driving 6900 who ever drives this 6900 in gateway by 2: 50 pm today needs to stop talking by phone and drive 45 in 45 zone no good! Why the city can have very dark taintwindows? The police stopped everyone who have that taint! No fair

I want to take my time to thank the inspector John and Luis from planning to help me and guide me during the application of my permit. It is a pleasure to work with them, they are tough but easy to work with. Thank you again.

Nicole and Luis were very professional and helpful in the building department and planning and zoning. Not a long wait as well at 9: 00 a.m.

The building department does not care if your home is dangerous. If you Do any Minor repair with out a permit they will fine you 4x the cost of the permit. Do not buy property in Boynton the head of the Building Department is a horrible rude person. Heads up look at other cities in south Florida to purchase real estate. My experience has been very negative with my renovation in the City of Boynton Beach.

Red light traffic camera scam.the lights go from green to red so fast with the smallest yellow yield phase just to get more tickets issued. I'm a safe driver but they got me once apparently and got me again but last time I was aware and noticed how short the yellow was I woulda had to lock up my breaks to stop for the red it hit so fast.shameful practice.

The artwork the city has been establishing at city hall has made me proud. I am a first year resident of Boynton Beach.

This is a beautiful new facility on two levels with an adult and youth library. There's a beautiful amphitheater outside for concerts and entertainment. It was great to see this new City Hall and experience the first concert since the Pandemic began. The music was the Valerie Tyson Band and there was a two day Kinetic Art Festival taking place with food trucks and lots of people coming out to enjoy the art and the facilities. We were greeted by friendly staff members and made to feel welcomed. We were informed of the library hours and invited back to participate and take classes.

I applied for a Mechanical Permit on 10/19/2020 almost 2 months have passed and they never put the fee to pay and Pemit is already approved, I sent more than 10 emails and it is never answered and when you call, no one answers.

Please consider banning non residents on beaches ie; oceanfront park. The parking lot full of NY and NJ plates. I would hate to see beaches close again.

Building permits.something must be done. Processing time is a joke. Slowest moving building department in south Florida by FAR! Put a permit in 2 weeks ago and the permit is still sitting at Intake Staff? PBC takes 5-7 business days. Boca Takes 10 business days. Lake Worth takes 10 business day. Fort Lauderdale 10 days. Atlantis 7 days. BOYNTON BEACH 4-6 WEEKS?
