City Oyster & Sushi Bar reviews
16Bartender Dan is like the Mayor of Delray. Love this place. Most consistently welll done food in Delray
Had a reso for 8: 45. Arrived 15 mins early. We where told they can’t sit us and wait for a text to let us know when they’ll have “space” what a joke.
Barra muy agradable, excelente happy hour. Debo hacer especial mencion a Dominic, nos atendió extraordinario.
We had a very nice time, the happy hour was great and Dominic was taking care of us, she is amazing!
I was craving Oysters so bad and they served me take away even though it was brunch, they were fast and Oysters were delicious!
This restaurant is one of our favorites in our town. Top knotch dishes and one of the few places you can a Maine style Lobster Roll.service is always great and we love the modern atmosphere.
We return time and time again. Reliably open tables, game on on the bar, great patio people watching. Sushi is fab and oysters served all day.
While visiting family in Florida we decided to make a spontaneous stop at this charming restaurant after walking through a street event.
Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by two elegant hostesses and promptly seated outdoors. The culinary experience exceeded our expectations, with standout service from our server, Eda, who truly stood out as one of the best. Her infectious friendliness, constant smiles, and impressive knowledge added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Despite attending to other tables, Eda ensured our needs were promptly met and offered excellent recommendations, particularly the not-to-be-missed oysters. The extensive oyster selection proved to be delightful.
We also discovered the restaurant offered unlimited mimosas and bloody marys, an opportunity not to be passed up. The Bloody Marys were a flavorful highlight. We also indulged in the well-executed calamari with a light and crispy batter, a rarity done to perfection. The sizable crab cake, accompanied by a delectable sauce, and the expectedly satisfying shrimp cocktail further showcased the culinary prowess of this establishment. My husband wanted to keep trying more and more but I was too full to go on. The tuna tataki provided a refreshing finale to our culinary journey.
I highly recommend this establishment for its exceptional food, attentive service, and a delightful array of culinary offerings. A must-visit for those in the area.
Very good oysters! Service by Geovanni was very good. Will definitely come back. Unlimited mimosas on Sunday lunch!
Nice place, food is fine, service can be slow but understandable considering how busy they can get.
Had the special. Pan seared Mahi over polenta with corn and pan fried panchetta. Mahi and panchetta was on point! Located next to the railroad in Delray but otherwise a beautiful setting with great ambiance! Will revisit soon!
Delicious crab cake, guava 75 and cherry basil cocktail. Myo was one of best servers ever. Daily happy hour. Would not get sea bass miso next time- too sweet. Manhattan incredible
My Mahi Mahi was over cooked but very flavorful. It’s always really loud in there. I love the Tuna Love roll. Excellent service.
Excellence is what’s served at City Oyster. Very well-prepared and presented dishes. Excellent seafood, wine selections and fabulous deserts. Servers are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. If you’re ever in Delray Beach, FL City Oyster and Sushi is a must try.
Great music and friendly staff. We ordered the wings and they were the really good. The drinks were on point.
Great experience overall. The drinks were perfect, oysters were excellent (although expensive at $90 for 2 dozen), and main course was delicious. Alesha was our waitress and she was great as well. Best date night meal we’ve had in a while!
This is a solid place to eat. Not the cheapest place on Atlantic Blvd. I'd highly recommend sitting outside.
Another bit of advice. Trust your server when it comes to oyster selections. Purs was spot on.
Had sushi. It was.also really good. Not stellar but good.
