As expected. It was a really nice day for a lunch outing. Not too hot. Everyone's food was Quick and hot. Taste was great for everything we ordered.

A stop in a truly characteristic environment is worth it. Very basic but to taste fried frogs, crab and alligator it is the right place

Really nice little place looking out over the water. I ordered the fried gator with fries and a side order of black beans and rice. Food was good and not a long wait.

We ate well. Of course most of the fish is fried. The restaurant is in Everglades City which is an hour drive west from Everglades.
The wait was a bit long to order and even longer to wait for our dishes.
Seats and bins are not cleaned very often. Apart from the restaurant that lives there was nothing else in this "town"
The famous alligator can be eaten, but fried.

Fresh seafood! This place has some of the freshest seafood you will ever find. They literally pull the food directly from the ocean and prepare it! The portions were fairly generous. The view was fantastic!

I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and always had access to freshly prepared fish. I was never a big fan, but would try different meals at local restaurants over the years. Recently, my family and I traveled to the Everglades and they encouraged me to try the local seafood. I ordered the blackened flounder-It was amazing! It was the best fish I have ever eaten and I now have a new appreciation for seafood. We ordered a variety of different items off the menu (including the alligator bites) and everything was delicious. I met the owner who shared the amazing story of building his business. The staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting meals. The entire experience was one to remember!

Blackened fish basket was very good. My son and I enjoyed Frog legs. You order at counter and pick up when called. Nice to eat by the water.

This is a great place to grab a beer when you visit Everglades City. Lots of shaded outdoor seating overlooking the water, and AC upstairs. The service is friendly. Stand in line to place your order, and pick it up at the window when called. We shared a basket of fish (I didn’t ask what kind) and gator, which came with fries. It was tasty, fried, and quite generous. The gator was heavily battered and the fish lightly battered. That and two cokes was $22. If you are looking for a high class place with culinary excellence, this is not right for you. But it’s fresh and fun, so kick back and enjoy the scene. Food was disgusting. Location was really nice and we enjoyed feeding the fish our scraps. They seemed to enjoy the food more than we did.

We got the conch fritters and gator bites. Both were excellent! Gator bites were a bit spicy. We enjoyed watching dolphins play in the water.

We were there today and no mention on their menu about grouper but they said anything with fish on the menu was grouper. We are fish snobs and what they had was not grouper, it was haddock. Very disappointing to us because we use to stop there on our way ro the keys and always had delicious grouper. They food was ok but not grouper.

This is a very cute place by the water. You can watch the airboats and other vessels traverse the waters as you snack on some yummy alligator bites and enjoy a cold beer. Don’t forget to try their homemade key lime pie! (It’s served frozen - perfect for a hot day)

Solidly mediocre. Rude dismissive service, very fishy tasting soft shell crab and the key lime pie was served frozen and in saran wrap. Good spicy ranch sauce though.

We like eating here and being able to look out at the river. We saw dolphins swimming and watched the airboats. I always recommend people to eat here
