Civil Axe Throwing - Tampa

This was for a team builder. Staff was accommodating, great space and our students enjoyed this unique experience. Highly recommend

We had a great time! Staff is incredibly friendly and showed us some cool trick shots and many different techniques of throwing. This was our first time throwing axes and they took their time instructing us on the proper way to throw. Highly recommend!

We had our company party at Civil Axe in Ybor on a Wednesday evening in June. Tiffany was our host and she did a great job helping us set up for our party, engaging our guests and helping to clean up as well. We had about 30-40 people of all different ages and everyone had a blast throwing axes! The vibe is super cool and casual and axe throwing turned out to be a stress relief for lots of people. There was plenty of room for us to set up our own tables with food and beverages and decorations I would highly recommend Civil Axe for your next company event!

Definitely recommend going. Me and my friends had an amazing time. Chris was super friendly and made sure we were safe at all times. Can't wait to go back soon.

Great place to go for work functions! Tiffany and Olivia have been great hostesses/instructors. Tiffany was our host the last two times and is always trying to help those who are new to axe throwing to get the rhythm and technique, keep it fresh with tournaments and trickshots and overall keep the team engaged. Overall a great experience and great time that that keeps us coming back.

Excellent day today with my buddy with special needs. Olivia did a great job training us. My guy had a blast, and ended up beating us all. Thank you for your patience and helping to make it a special day for my guy.

Fantastic family adventure!

We took a group of seven ages 12-64 and everyone had a great time. I was a teeny bit anxious before we started but within 3 throws we were all hitting the board most of the time and laughing when we didn't. If you're on the fence, DO IT!

And yeah. 64 year old Grandma won the tournament.

Chris was the ultimate, most axe-celelent host. He showed us a ton of tricks, and allowed us to Saber bubbly and even danced around like a cowboy. Make sure you request the cowboy show!

I had the best birthday party here! Our Axepert was fantastic and keep us entertained with his trick shots! Everyone had a great time and I will definitely be back for more fun!

Daniel was amazing! He helped us with everything and made the experience so much more fun my sister and I! Definitely will be coming back!

What an awesome place! I've been twice now, once as a date night and once for an office get-together. The staff is amazing, they truly make the experience! Super fun environment too!

It was my first time and it was so fun! The women working our session was super helpful in giving tips throughout the entire hour with the different toys they had and how to throw them

This was one of the more fun places I have visited in a while. The instructor did a great job of teaching how to properly throw an axe and even gave us some extra toys to play with once we had that down. If you are looking for something more active, where you can still have a conversation with someone then this is a great little spot for the beginning or end of a date night in Ybor.

What a wonderful time at Civil Axe Throwing at Ybor City, Tampa, FL. It was my first time throwing the axe and I had my doubts at first but Olivia, the trainer, was so special in taking care of us, so patient in explaining the rules of the game and so charismatic in transferring the joy of playing that I immediately entered the atmosphere of the game and Time flew very quickly. I recommend this place to relax and release energies. In a group, couple or with a friend, you will have a great time. I recommend it to everyone. Don't forget to show your appreciation to the instructor who takes care of you and if it's Olivia, give her a hug from me. Thanks Mike for inviting me. It was a great time of fun and growth!

Axcellent and fun! First time axe throwing and we can’t wait to go back! Olivia, our “axpert” provided great safety instructions and pointers for successful throwing. And she was SO nice and fun. The music was great and being able to bring your own snacks and drinks was a bonus.

Had an absolute blast here! Was one a double date with a friend and we all had a great time, two of them had been axe throwing before but my partner and myself had never done it before. The instructor was very friendly and showed us how to throw everything, allowing us time to get used to one weapon throwing before offering the next selection (knives, throwing stars, and a metal playing card). While we didn’t keep track of points we all still had a great time taking turns throwing at the boards. Will definitely make it a point to come back someday.

My first time being there the other day, An employee was running late but the district manager was so helpful about the situation. I couldn't hate the place even if I tired. Employees there were so generous, and more I will definitely go back in the future.
