Clarion Pointe Tallahassee-State Capitol

Very neat clean and comfortable place to stay. It looked as though the entire hotel just had a refresh. New paint everywhere. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great staff morning and evening. Awesome breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon and everything to go with it. Very neat and clean place to stay. Would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely choose to stay here again when in the area.

The place is got a great theme and vibe. The only problem is the overnight guy who sets up breakfast. Food cold Saturday and Sunday. Young man takes no pride in his work. I watched it both days as I'm a early riser. Oatmeal was soup on Sat and plaster on Sunday. Need to retrain the employee on food service. It's not just slap it together. People are eating that.

Management and Staff are Wonderful, A Very Clean and Refreshing atmosphere to be. Its Your Home away from home! Peacful sleep, Breakfast & a Gym. And the Owner is Fabulous! (If Heaven was a place) Clarion Pointe!

This hotel was fun to stay at with their unique and artsy décor! I loved taking pictures and showing friends how cool this hotel looked. The room was clean, comfy and spacious. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a huge variety to choose from. I would stay here again!

We were disappointed, given some of the other more positive reviews. We did not get a good nights sleep as the air condition system is not very good. It is either hot and humid or too cold. Plus, there is a lot of extraneous light in the room. The Wi-Fi is frustratingly unreliable. The breakfast was average. At check out the front clerk was unable to provide me with the receipt. She said the printer was low on toner. She said she was going to email it to me but did not seem to be willing take the time to verify my email address as she was busy talking on the phone. The Springhill is a much better option in our experience.

That being said- Beautiful hotel. Wonderful stay, aside from the AC having to be reset every few hours.

But at checkout, I was erroneously charged for smoking in room, which I did not. The correction was made immediately but my financial institution has to hold my $250 hostage for 48 hours. I've been on the phone with the bank 3 times and the hotel 4 times this morning trying to get it resolved quicker. Through no fault of my own I've had to spend at least a half a day trying to fix someone else's error. I would think that I deserve more than an "I'm sorry" but such is life. Despite the beautiful accomodations and cute decor, I don't think I will be staying there again, despite it being in the location I can see myself visiting again. We will just have to find different accomodations in the future.

Overall very pleased with the room. AC kept shorting out.pulling too much power for the plug? But the room was clean and fresh. We were next to the elevator so it was a bit loud, but we were comfortable and this facility was nicer than most.

The breakfast buffet was really good and had a nice variety of both foods and beverages.

What was an intense disappointment was that we had reserved on the app and thought we were getting the best price available but the folks ahead of us who walked in with no reservation got a rate $16 cheaper and management claimed they could do nothing about it. No refund, no points, no attempt at peace making.

Nice place but good value? Maybe not in every case.

This is the BEST affordable hotel that better than fancy hotel. We have been traveling across the country and staying in many hotels. This hotel is the winner for affordable accommodation. Their room was so new and clean. Their price was so friendly and their staff was so nice. He called us after we got the room if everything was ok. We appreciated how nice he was. The price is included free breakfast. So awesome place! Definitely stay at this hotel again.

My husband and I made a reservation as we drove from Charlotte, NC to Talahassee, FL for a funeral. The room was nice and the hot breakfast was delicious. My only issue is how I was charged. We stayed two nights but were charged for three. I called the hotel who stated the same thing the receipt said I was given. I then called the main customer service and felt they could not or simply would not deal with the issue. Even though the rooms were nice and the hot breakfast tasty, I will have to think twice before staying again. The manner in which the main customer service line dealt with me left much to be desired.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, checking in Friday and checking out Sunday. This hotel is quite colorful, nicely decorated, and super aesthically pleasing. Ample parking and free breakfast in the morning (which was just mediocre). Front desk guy definitely didn't like his job, but the woman I checked out with was very kind. I stayed on the 3rd floor in room 311 (two queen beds). Again, super nicely decorated and quite pleasing in design. These rooms however, have paper thin walls. I can hear people talking quite clearly, music pumping and tvs blasting through. Every night I was awoken around 3am by laughing (probably very drunk) people. In addition, these beds were lumpy and very uncomfortable. The a/c definitely had been programmed to not run at night. Overall, price was good, however, I wouldn't stay here again.

We just needed a place for a quick over night stop. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor is unique and probably targeted to 25-39 demographic. The room was spotless. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. This was an absolute bargain for the price and there was free breakfast.

Me and my family's stay here was amazing! After driving 10 hrs from VA to visit my son here upon arrival at approximately 730 am I realized that check in was not until 300 pm. First we called and was denied early check in. So after 4 hrs of my family of 4 on the couch my husband couldn't take it no more and called again and was told we could check in at 1145am! God is good! We were finally able to rest. Check in was easy as we had already pre-paid.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, very nice paint art and modernized furniture. I watched the housekeeper clean one of them rooms and she even buffed and disinfected the upholstery and furniture lol. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good (even though they served the same items daily) but had a good selection of items to satisfy my appetite. I enjoyed the waffle maker. The rooms had a smart TV, refrigerator, microwave, nice hot powerful showers w/ shampoo, lotion, and body wash dispensers. The beds were surprisingly super comfy with clean sheets. I also had the opportunity to utilize the gym area which was a nice small area w/ a treadmill, bicycle, weights, and bench. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also like there security mechanism on the room doors being that I had my teens next door. Would highly recommend, perfect location right the heart of everything.

Their local residents policy is by far one of the most bizarre things I have ever heard of. In all of my adult life I have never heard of a hotel reservation being cancelled simply because you live within 100 miles of the location. Never heard of a Staycation?

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Room clean, bedding comfortable. Looks like this hotel is newly renovated. The whole room was up to date! Very nice decor. Very good shower with hot water and good water pressure. Hotel is close to the interstate, restaurants, and a convenience store is right across the street. Staff were friendly. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, simply because of all the up to date decor. Only take away and this is just my situation, was that I was denied late check out, as I am a diamond member with Choice hotels. Other than that, I would definitely stay again.

I do not agree on this 4.3 at all. Its noicy from the streets the windows are nothing at all. And the floors from above make a cosy noice at all which after a few hours just is enoying. Ok the price is decent but much more than a wood mobile home is this not.

This is the cutie hotel I have visited in Tallahassee. It’s very artsy and fresh. My room was clean, the beds soft, and I loved the decor. I stayed on the 3rd floor and even the elevator is beautifully done with a map of the world. The price is perfect and the staff was very nice. I recommend this hotel for the stay. And that says a lot…I’m a Hilton honors member, Bonvoy member and IHG member. But I’ll stay here over them when I visit the capital city. Five stars easy.

The lighting is great. The alarm clock has sleep sounds. The mini fridge has a freezer for ice cream. This hotel is cozy like my bedroom. It’s wonderful.
