Clasico Italian Chophouse, Sarasota FL

Clasico is one of my absolute favorite spots in downtown Sarasota! The food is fantastic - clearly made with high quality, fresh ingredients and the staff is an absolute pleasure. Not to mention, the ambiance is like nothing else you'll find in the area.

Hunter is always an outstanding server (I ask for him every time) and I adore the manager, Josh, who is always attentive to his patrons throughout their time at his restaurant. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal at Clasico!

Our waiter was amazingly attentive! Loved dining outside, it was delightful and great breeze. Food was delicious especially mushroom blanco pizza, short ribs, shrimp pasta!

Bar staff is slow to approach, always hanging out at end of the bar together.older lady at the reservation desk chomping on a block of cheese.gross.

We had a perfect brunch at Clasico. The espresso martinis paired so well with Rockefeller oysters, and we finished with Italian biscuits and gravy. Excellent staff and local ownership- I highly recommend dining with Clasico!

Everything here was great. I have been to a "fancy" restaurant here in Sarasota yet, and this was my first one. I got the Strawberry Mule and it was fantastic, one of my favorite alcoholic beverages ever. The burger was one of the best I've ever had. And then the Donuts were on another level. It was a great place and worth the price of everything. Definitely want to come back here at some point

The best restaurant so far in Florida. Amazing food. The pizza is authentic Italian. The customer service was great. Happy that I deserved this great spot.

On Wednesday, 10/25/2023, my wife and I had a couple cocktails at your bar, then dinner outside. Nino, Jonathan, and our bartender (I forgot her name!) were a pleasure. The food, service, and ambience were awesome. Even got to meet Brian Johnson from AC/DC. He was a hoot! Thanks for a great afternoon.

Update: Shortly after I messaged Clasico to compliment them, their Sales and Events Manager, Patricia, replied to thank me for my comments. And shortly after that, Nino replied as well to thank me for my compliments! That kind of client appreciation is rare.

Great brunch menu, perfect service. Francesca is the best server we’ve ever had! She helped me with the menu options and was kind. Will definitely come here again!

Liz the best waitress I’ve had in a very long time. Friendly, courteous, and certainly new the menu. Meatballs w/breads. Then fig and prosciutto pizza. Yummy and will be back from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Thank you Liz

It's honestly such a vibe. The waiting staff here are so friendly and so nice especially Liz. I request her all the time when I come in to dine. The food here is up to par. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! Ask for Liz she's the best server I've ever had!
