Clemente's Wood-Fired Trolley Pizzeria reviews
18Tiny place with amazing brick oven pizza. The pies are surprisingly light and not greasy. I will definitely eat here again!
The BEST pizza that my husband and I have ever had! Get the pepper and soppressata pizza! The appetizer meatballs were also incredible! They are incredibly nice too! Great atmosphere!
Waited over an hour while the kitchen seemed to grind to a halt. Ok pizza but I've had better.
Excellent pizza and great service. The place is very small so there may be a wait, but it is worth it! Dining in or getting takeout- it is always delicious.
This is a popular place. We had to wait about 50 minutes.it is very small and noisy. Outside tables are probably best.
I ordered the meatballs which tasted bready and I do not recommend them. Also the Caesar salad, which was very good. Two in our group ordered pizza and were quite happy. The people next to us ordered the buratta special and it looked great.
I would appreciate it if the restaurant would post the prices of their specials. $14.50 was way too much for the meatballs.
The service was friendly and helpful.
Beautiful wood fired pizza, worthy of the best of Napoli, along with Red Stripe and a connoisseur Roots Reggae soundtrack. What's not to love? My kind of heaven on earth!
Damen was an amazing server and definitely fit the vibe check. Pizza was out of this world.will definitely be back. A must stop if you enjoy a good pie!
We eat a LOT of pizza and this is without question the best pizza we’ve ever had. I love Key West but even if I didn’t I’d come all the way here again just for this pizza. On top of it, everyone who works there is so friendly. Can’t wait to come back!
If your looking for something other than seafood.this place has AWESOME pizza. We went here 2 out of 4 nights it was so good. We had a white sauce one night and a meat lovers red sauce the second night.both really good. Kudos clementes!
We walked by this and decided to pop in on a whim (I usually have a prepared list of places I’ve researched). We were both incredibly surprised with how fantastic the pizza was! Service was awesome (they’re fast, friendly and charming), atmosphere was great (very good vibes) and the pizza was delicious (even the crust!). We had a Margherita and a meatball pizza. Highly recommend!
Absolutely one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We sat inside and the aromas coming from the kitchen and wood oven were tantalizing.
One of the worst pizza I ever tried in life. I went to this place because of all good reviews. The pizza was so oily that we couldn’t eat. No taste at all. The food took really long even though it was just a pizza. The service was as bad as the food. Not repeating this location when in Key West.
The most mediocre, bland pizza we've ever had, had to wait over an HOUR for our food, laughably bad service, especially the waiter who served us (a rather short fellow) ; all followed by a mandatory 20% tip. If you enjoy tasteless food and rude waiters, this is a must-visit!
Came here because it had great reviews. Huge mistake. This is the epitome of disorganization! Came in on a Sunday night around 8: 00. I understand the service industry is not great right now, and everyone has a bad night, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Once we got sat down, we ordered an appetizer. Was then asked if we’d kindly move tables so they could combine our table with another for a large group. We agreed to do that. We waited 1+ hour for our pizza, and noticed the table they gave ours to for the group got 2 pizzas before us! They arrived about 30 minutes after we did. Come to find out, our pizza was delivered to them! We were not informed until AFTER we said something. Then, the servers wanted to blame the kitchen. Which, I’m sure it was the kitchen too, but running the pizza to the incorrect table has nothing to do with the kitchen! They asked us to please wait and they’d give us our pizza at no charge (which was the right thing to do considering we waited 1+ hour for you to deliver our pizza to the table you made us move for). If you make a mistake, inform your table of it immediately and make it right. We could have made other dinner arrangements at that point. We had to ask to get told what really happened. Poor service. The pizza fell apart and was not done.
We went to have a pizza here since it had good reviews.big mistake. Took an hour for a basic pizza to get to us, this wasn’t the problem tho. The problem is they include a mandatory 20% tip. When we talked (nicely) to the guy working there about how we didn’t feel comfortable paying that for the hour wait, he went off on one saying that that’s how they work. He kept on saying they serve the “worlds best pizza”. It was not. Any European person would find their pizzas below average:) the guy was rude and very very unprofessional. The waitresses were nice tho:)
It's not just eating a wonderful pizza in the stone oven with fresh products, it was also a cozy place. It’s a feeling in the home kitchen with friends.
The pizza was fantastic! The service was very good. The waiter told us about the Christmas boat parade that was taking place the night we ate at the restaurant. We were able to attend the parade after dinner.
I ordered the build-your-own slice for my kid and he couldn't wait to come back again.
