This is the absolute worst facility I’ve ever been to in my entire life to get anyone on the phone is a disaster, they transfer you from person to person and no one gives you an answer! I’ve been trying to get my results for 3 days and no one is giving me a straight answer this is literally people’s health they are messing around with. The staff was whatever and all they do is bill you there is no follow up. I HAD TO CALL THEM FOR MY RESULTS. I wouldn’t recommend this disgusting place if you paid me. The worst experience of my life, every time I go to the Cleveland clinic it’s the same thing

Worst experience trying to see a doctor in my life. Dr. Stubbe has canceled my appointment three times this year. It’s ridiculous to try and set an appointment with this Dr over the last 6 months. He is supposed to be my new primary doctor and has now cancelled the 3rd time and no one ever calls to let me know. I hope this is NOT what I have to look forward to in dealing with Cleveland Clinics. Simply a lack of respect for my time and needs. It is sad that New Patients are put on the back burner with no real respect that they need to see a doctor too. This is one of the many reasons why our Health Care System is broken.

I have never experienced such a disorganized and disgusting place of malpractice. Though I can ONLY speak for the Rheumatology department and specifically on Dr. Hossam Elzawawy, MD who is the most negligent doctor I have ever experienced. I drove over an hour to my 8am appointment that was canceled by the doctor that morning and Dr. Elzawawy was nice enough to take me in, however, seemed very perturbed and had not looked at my files prior. He then had the audacity, without thoroughly reviewing my case, to tell me my last Rheumatologist at my previous location (in Los Angeles who is a highly accredited doctor of over 45 years) was a liar and that I did not have Systemic Lupus and needed a therapist, not a Rheumatologist and that infusion therapy would not work on me as I didn't have lupus and it only works on lupus patients. I found a great new doctor who listens to me. I have been on my infusions for 7 months now and FINALLY feel like I have some start to a quality of life again. My blood work has improved since starting the infusions and I have even been able to taper off of my heavy doses of prednisone after a year and a half.

Staff are rude at the gynecologist receptionist, made me waste my time going there, I called twice before coming in to make sure my insure is valid and they said it was, as I went there (30 min drive) they tell me my insurance isn’t valid. Bad staff and waste of time.

Cleveland Clinic reputation as a world renowned medical institution and one of the top hospital systems in the United States, is not what I experienced during my appointment with Dr. Carla McWilliams in the Infectious Disease Department at Cleveland Clinic Weston/South Florida. My appointment was absolutely appalling and atrocious! Dr. McWilliams was rude, condescending, disrespectful, unwilling to listen, unwilling to fill out paperwork for my employer/insurance company, inept / incompetent to manage any type of advanced infectious disease treatment and might I add an out-write wench. The only thing she was concerned with was getting my maintenance medications updated with her name as prescribing physician so she could get kickbacks from the drug companies for prescribing my medications. Do not waste your time, she will not proactively manage your condition and her approach is to refer you to other specialist which are not relevant to treating your overall condition.

I absolutely love Dr. Stubbi what gentleman he found several thing that my old primary failed to mention. I have been doing great ever sense however that does not excuse how rude the front desk can be and how hard it is to get a same day appointment after being established

I had aortic valve replacement surgery in May - the staff and care were top notch. Dr. Zeeshan was wonderful - very knowledgeable as well as very caring - great technical skills AND bedside manner.the cardiac ICU nurses were fabulous! Feel very lucky to have this facility nearby.

It pains me to leave a 3 star review for this organization. But as a former Ohio resident who has been to the Cleveland Clinic many times, I am fully aware of just how much the South Florida facilities are lacking. I've waited for an entire year to leave this review. Honestly hoping that something will change so that I could leave a better review. But after today, I'm done waiting. All of my doctors, my husband's doctors and our daughter's doctors are at the clinic. All of our specialist, and there are many. The frustration almost always begins with the lack of adequate parking for SICK people. Then the registration process - which I do recommend using the my chart app. But even with the app and using it to preregister we still have to stop at a kiosk to register yet again. God forbid should the kiosk be down and you have to register at the desk because it is extremely rare to find one of these employees be pleasant in any way what so ever. I find myself thinking that they must hate their jobs more than anyone I know because they are the most miserable bunch of people you'll ever come across. There are no signs telling patients where to go, where the line begins. If your new to the clinic this is all very frustrating. It was for me and it is for others as I watch their confused faces then the embarrassment when one of the administrative assistants will FINALLY tell them in a very unkind way where to go. Now I have to say that we rarely have too long of a wait to get into the doctor's office, however we do tend to wait a while once in that room. Almost always, the great doctors are worth the frustration of this entire process. Now after the appointment is over if you happen to have anything that needs scheduled I'm sorry to say that you go back out to those people who hate their jobs and again go through the line, etc. Today my daughter had a gastric emptying test, she is a very sick type 1 diabetic. She had to eat radioactive food then have her stomach scanned every hour. The waiting room was uncomfortable, crowded and loud. Then the final hour they were over half an hour late calling her back. A test like this isn't easy for a type 1 diabetic who is on 2 different kinds of insulin and really should be on a schedule as much as possible. Now along with worrying about if her sugar was going to go low, we're worried if the test results will be accurate. When I compare costs on my health insurance app, Cleveland Clinic costs are always one of the highest. I really am willing to pay more for the quality care the doctors are giving. But come on! These issues really do make our time there (which is a lot) frustrating. After today, I'm sorry to say that we're reconsidering our health care provider choices.

I had a terrible experience here, and will never return. The staff was nice enough, as was the nurse I met. However, the doctor was immediately rude to me. He did not even say "hello" before he started talking at/down to me. I have had pain for the past few months, and had similar pain a few years ago. He raised his voice at me as he asked why I never followed up on my issues before (I certainly did!). He was dismissive and made me so uncomfortable that I didn't ask all the questions I was prepared to ask. I had waited a long time to see a specialist, but I couldn't take the discomfort so I decided to see someone in Family Medicine, hoping for advice in the meantime, but instead he made me feel like he thought I was nothing. No problem- he never has to see me again. The two stars are only because it reflects on the whole center, and he was the only awful person.

Like any human organization they are not perfect but excel at delivering world class medical service. Special recognition to male nurses Tony and Joji in the out patient surgery department as well as Dr
Lo Menzo and Dr Perrellas and their surgical team.

The 4 stars is specifically for Dr. Emile H. Barreau and the way that he treats me as his patient. I met him by chance 3 years when my Cleveland Clinic Primary doctor was booked. I was immediately impressed with him and about 6 months later, made him my primary doctor. I have been a client at Cleveland Clinic for more than 10 years and for me, he has been the best PCP that I have had in those 10 years because he connects, he is culturally aware and when I was diagnosed with cancer, he was and has been very empathic and attentive. I hope this never changes with Dr. Barreau.
I also appreciate the fact that Cleveland Clinic runs their appointments pretty close to on time.
