A month and a half ago I was in severe pain with plantar fasciitis. The pain was sucking the energy right out of me. I knew at my age I had better start moving again and gave this a try. I signed up for unlimited and try to go 4-5 times a week, with the exception of going away for a few days. My energy has returned and my foot pain has completely gone away. I love the way I feel walking out of class and if I’m gone too many days I crave it. I think I’ve now met most of the instructors and they are all a little different but fantastic! I am so happy I signed up. Pilates is just amazing for your body, mind and soul.

Three stars because what I don’t like about Club Pilates, is when I go to a class and spend all of 10 minutes on the reformer and the other 45 minutes on the mat. The whole point of reformer pilates is using the reformer! Reformer Pilates is expensive, because you’re using a reformer which is an expensive piece of equipment, so I expect to use that equipment when I book a class. I get that they want to include variety in their routines, but they should limit mat work if they want to charge like a reformer studio.

Chris is very knowledgeable and tough. Every workout is different. It maybe painful but is never boring. He pushes me to do exercises that I could not do by myself. I would recommend him to anyone that wants a serious workout.

I’ve been taking Pilates here for some time now and I love the way my body feels after each class. Every instructor teaches very differently. Allison is definitely one of my favorites. One instructor I feel to avoid is Chris. When I take his class it feels like boot camp and I always hurt after, but not in a good way. There are times in his class that I’m too scared to do an exercise because it doesn’t seem safe and my body says no. The only reason I take his class is because of the time that works for my schedule. I don’t know where Chris learnt Pilates but it’s certainly not true Pilates. I recently heard that another member fell off a reformer in his class because they were standing on one leg and broke their leg and hip and had to have major surgery. Nobody says anything because he’s the manager. I know the owners are men and probably very focused on just making money but keeping people safe should be a top priority!

Love these guys! They're so welcoming and lead some really fantastic work outs.

I used to study classical Pilates out west, and I miss some of the more complicated exercises, but they're they only place who have pushed me to improve my terrible teaser! I think that this element is because I was taking large group classes. I love that in the group classes that most of the instructors really do focus on safety. I am not the biggest fan of when instructors try to turn Pilates into a cross fit session. I haven't run into that too often here.but you find that at a lot of studios.

They also offer privates and semi-private where I am sure they teach some of the more "OMG I JUST DID THAT" exercises taken in the slow but challenging Pilates pace.

I was a member for a long time, but the classes schedules didn't line up with the way my work day was structured.so I could only get into classes that fill up very quickly. But I really miss these guys and hope once I move closer that I can start up going a few times a week again.
