CMX Cinemas Wellington

Haven't been to this theater in about 3 years. What happened? This used to be a luxury theater. The seats were torn up and the seats that weren't torn were warped where everyone sits. And since you pick in advance you're stuck with a ripped seat. Half of the bathroom stalls in the women's room were out of order and two of the toilets that were working didn't even flush. Same issue with many faucets not working. Also just filthy and hot until the movie started then it cooled down a bit. If they can't afford to run this place properly then it should just close. Just not worth the price at any price really.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do movie theaters not get health inspected? How is this place still open? The bathrooms are disgusting & wretched. You feel dirty the minute you walk in. Broken stalls, broken sinks, soap dispensers with zero soap. Inside the women's bathroom (according to my wife) there's a spitball "mountain" on the ceiling that has been there for MONTHS at the very least & is only getting worse. Toilet paper & other trash everywhere along with half the stalls broken & never fixed. The family bathroom is an embarrassment as well. Overall, I don't think I've seen a single employee clean anything at any point. The carpets are gross, the theater rooms are disgusting & barely clean. The seats are sticky, the carpet is littered with trash & food. In a properly operated theater you'll see employees waiting after a movie is over to clean - never here. & this hasn't been a recent thing. I've been coming here for a while now (I stopped a few weeks ago, finally, each time hoping by some miracle it would get better because this place at one time used to be great. It hasn't. Nothing has changed. Calls don't work. Emails don't work. Reviews don't work. I'll probably get some canned response to this review by some anonymous rep from the company saying blah, blah, blah because that's all they do. Best bet is to stop spending money here & allow whoever owns this place to go out of business in hopes that a newer owner with common sense knows how to run it. All that I can do is hope for the best, but until this place improves: Stay away.

Dirty theater and filthy bathrooms with multiple broken bathroom stalls and faucets. Management must be awful because the employees don't seem to care or about service or friendliness.

There seemed to be a bunch of kids standing around talking but nobody working or in charge, a shame because it could be a nice place to visit and close by to me, but the lack of care everywhere, clearly visible (to the public) is very off putting.

All auditoriums have electric reclining seats with tables. Clear projection images and surround audio.

Okay the movie hasn’t started yet, I was giving this place a lot of hype before I arrived bc of hood pics to my family. The seats are dirty af smells like a dirty Cheeto car seat literally and there’s old sauce all over the chair table my sons sitting at. There’s all chips/Cheetos in side of chair and it smells bad it’s also not very cold at all a little warm actually feels like 73/74 degrees it doesn’t sound that good we’re all asking when the sound will kick in and the screen is the smallest I’ve ever seen. In pictures you can see dirt/food stuff all over back of seats, small screen, and Cheetos inside of chair smells like a dirty persons car w kids

Wen with my partner to find a very filthy environment and poorly designed theaters ontop of entrance- waited for fries for about 20 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged once while i was waiting.the seats were disgusting & an hour later i was in the bathroom due to the loaded fries
so i had to leave the theater early due to the food being awful or expired couldn’t tell you…

all i could say was the popcorn was stale along with the candy - won’t be coming back here

Bad service and overpriced as many theaters are. But this one is really not worth the price, just got to a regal or something

Me and my daughter's went to see the Barbie movie, even though it was almost sold out they did there best to get us seats. Thanks for a great movie night.

First time here and would not come back… Came to watch Barbie in theater 9 and throughout the duration of the whole movie there was no A/C.

From the outside this place looks luxurious but the second you walk in you can really tell how worn down everything is. Popcorn everywhere, dirty and ripped carpets/walls. Very disgusting for a CMX, let alone in Wellington.

Auditorium 3 is SUPER SMALL if you are going to see a movie there, better watch it at home, the screen is the smallest movie screen I have ever seen, it does not give you a good experience, they should consider changing it, or better close the auditorium. Comfortable seats, but the place is a little dirty. Went on a weekend and no food whatsoever was available. Only popcorn, candy, and drinks, that's it. The staff is pretty rude. They show they don't want to be there. I rather pay a little extra and go to Regals.

This place is a dump needs to completely be remodeled seats are completely worn and cracked garbage everywhere the way it is should be a dollar movie theater
