Coast Dental, Sarasota FL

I went in to Coast Dental because they’re the ones who put my last dentures in and they were perfect. I found out that there’s a metal screw in my upper gums but the great dentist at Coast said not to worry because they can still make my dentures fit so I give Coast ten stars. Thank you Coast Dental!
Once again the staff at Coast Dental was courteous and professional. My dentures were a little big so they put some more adhesive in the upper and lower, I bit down until it dried and next time I go there my dentures will be the finished product, thank you Coast Dental…
Well I finally got the finished product and they look great. I’ve got to get used to it because it’s the first time since 06/2019 that I finally got dentures, thank you Coast Dental

They were all very nice, professional and accommodated me after I switched from the terrible high pressure deceptive experience I had had at the Sarasota crossing fruitville location! I recommend the beneva location and heed a warning to stay away from fruitville one! They have 1 1/2 stars for good reason! They should all be flipping burgers not providing dental services to anyone! Beneva is much much better! IMHO

Horrible experience! The staff was hateful to each other openly and loudly. Tried to push services and I should have walked out. Too bad I didn’t. They are trying to hill me for service I paid for and my insurance paid for and wont do their own leg work or audit to verify payment. Coast dental bad bookkeeping is not my problem and they cant make a simple phone call to an insurance company? The are harassing and wont answer phone calls or return messages.

Awesome place very knowledgeable and work with you. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I am very happy I choose this Coast Dental. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I had a emergency the worst tooth pain I called and in withing 1hour I got in the chair and out of excruciating pain I have found a new dentist the best!

This was by far the best dental experience I’ve had. The entire staff were friendly, attentive and listened to my concerns. They made me feel comfortable with the process and explained everything throughly. I highly recommend this office.

I told them I had a referral for a root canal so they made me an appointment, then at the appointment I spent 2 hrs with my 4 year old there because they took 3 people that had appointments after me before me, THEN they told me what I already know (I had a root canal) but they don't do that there, THEN they wrote me the wrong referral to the endontist. They just care about getting that ins. Money.

I called for am emergency appointment the day before a hurricane. I have an infected tooth. They got me in within 40 minutes. Very friendly, explained everything that was going on. Gave me options and referrals. After my infection goes away I will be back for my future services.

I was thrilled with how well they treated me. It was my first visit to the dentist in quite a while. Quite frankly I wasn’t sure what to expect but everyone walked me through the process and left me with my dignity intact. They took the time to explain everything while answering all of my questions. I can’t say enough about how good my experience was with this visit.

Staff super friendly and efficient. Answered all my questions. Dentist is wonderful. I just had my extractions today and immediate denture out in. Everything explained carefully and wonderfully. He made sure when he started there was no pain. Best dental practice I have ever visited.

Omar is the best, most gentle and most hilarious dentist you could ever hope to meet. He did an amazing job on my teeth and he is a wonderful person! I can’t wait to go back because of him and I never felt that way about going to the dentist before!

Great cleaning! Great hygienist! Loooong wait. We waited 45mins after our appointment time plus we were 15 mins early. They were very behind.

Had to visit the office due to a crown coming loose. That procedure went okay, other than the staff constantly looking for tools to complete the repairs. Embarrassing watching them fumble for tools. So disorganized, HOWEVER, I scheduled a follow up cleaning the next week. Boy, that a tragic mistake.

Set my appt for 3: 30pm (so difficult for me to get time off to visit them, but they were down the street and in network, so scheduled).

Walk in at 3;30pm (greeted by the sweetest receptionist) and then sat in the waiting room and twenty minutes after my appt time, ushered back into the x-ray room. Should have walked out at that point, as the radiologist tech seemed like this was her first day. Actually messed up some of my x-rays, causing additional radiation to be shot into my head because she messed up. She also kept trying to push teeth whitening with trays or bleaching. Of course, at a substantial cost. Declined, next.

Finally got into the chair and the dentist came out to do a comprehensive exam on me. Of course, found problems that he had solutions for with a "treatment plan", which basically is paperwork with prices on them. Told him to hold off for now as I just needed to absorb the prices of the crown for last week. Next came Oscar, the hygienist. Told him I was there for a cleaning. Pokes and prods in my mouth, then disappears and comes back with a sheet of paper, again, for my "treatment plan". AT $750. Dude, I'm here for my cleaning, which should be paid by my insurance. "Well, I don't know how much your insurance will pay for this". I feel you probably should know how much my insurance is paying towards this. You asked me for my dental insurance cars at the intake. Why don't you know? He also kept referring to the fact is was after 5: 00pm and I was lucky he was still there?

Ended up removing my bib and walking out. What a complete insult to me and a complete waste of two hours of my time.

Office is in a mini-mall next to a Harbor Freight and looks like it hasn't had any type of remodel in the last 10 years. Ceiling tiles loose and coming apart. Smell of desperation throughout the office.

Avoid this office like the Black Plague or the Spanish Flu. I get a sense of, "Let's see what we can soak this client for". Treatment Plan equals "upsells"

One of the worst dental offices I've ever been to. I don't even know where to begin.
