I absolutely Love coming here. Yes. I am saying this about a Dental Office. I've been coming here for I believe 5 years now. Firstly, Dr. Avila is absolutely fantastic! He is the best dentist I've ever gone to. He is very knowledgeable and extremely kind and gentle. Theresa is who I've been going to for my cleanings and she is AWESOME! Again, she is so very personable and GENTLE. Delilah makes the appointments and calls to confirm the appointment. SHE is such a sweetie.very empathetic. I would like to personally mention the rest of the staff and state how wonderful they are, but I don't know their names. It appears that many of them are relatively new to this office and it's a GRAND improvement. Kudos for hiring this great bunch of health care workers.

Read other reviews as they have the same complaint and bad experience as I. My daughter scheduled an appointment in early November they texted her the day before the appointment to cancel and the new cleaning date they gave her wasn’t until January 3rd. Guess what it’s today the 2nd of January and she gets a text mesage they have to cancel AGAIN! I called there upset because I’ve now had to change my schedule twice to help my daughter with her kids so she can go to the appointment. I spoke with Trisia the office manager and told her I was upset and that she need to do what’s right and get my daughter in right away. She told me to have my daughter call back in to fix the situation and now it goes straight to voicemail for her and I, we tried multiple times, but funny, when I first called someone answered right away so I know they sent us to voicemail on purpose. Terrible establishment, don’t waste your time with an appointment because they will cancel on you and then your next appointment won’t be for over a month when you already had to wait weeks to get in.

Called to schedule an appointment with them in November and the next available appt wasn’t until the middle of December. When the time comes, they cancel my appt 2 hours before I’m supposed to be there, and had to reschedule in January. Finally time comes again for the appt and they cancel AGAIN the day before. Tried to give them a call because of it and they didn’t give a reason and ended the call. Tried to call back and they keep sending me to voicemail. So unprofessional and such an inconvenience

They have excellent customer service and make your smile shine. Thank you Doctor Avila, you are the best.

My experience, excellent, excellent service, starting from the receptionist to the doctors to every employee in there, and the place also looks spotless and clean

Had an appointment scheduled for my son Dec 1 get there and the lady up front said our appointment was canceled the doctor wasn’t there. They sent me a text that day rescheduling his appointment for today for 11: 30 am and we get there and same lady says sorry his appointment was at 11: 10 am and they wouldn’t see him. Shes like sorry patients are getting upset it’s the system.you can’t even call the office directly.done wasting our time here. What a joke!

This dentist is hilarious. The front desk staff is super helpful and the dental assistants and technicians have made my husband comfortable and explain everything clearly I’m so happy we chose this dentist office

I've been coming here for about 4+ years now. The staff have always been compassionate and kind. My dental hygienist is amazing, I love her, and the Dr. Is always generous with smiles. He is as gentle as possible when he works on your mouth.
If you don't have dental insurance, you may want to inquire about pricing so you won't be surprised. They do offer some options to consider if interested. They also accept the Care Credit card.

Staff was friendly and efficient. They've had trouble with hygienists. They canceled two cleaning appts since November 8 and I still can't get a cleaning until January 19.

Worst dentist ever. Went in for new dentures. They had my old dentures for a mold that they couldn't get right. After 3 times trying to make it right. My best friend had just died so I signed off. Had these dentures from them in a box for 2 years and would never EVER wear them. Made several attempt's to try to get with the dentist. How can you mess up when you have a mold. They don't even look like my dentures that I have had for a couple of years. The only time I want to look like bugs bunny is on Halloween. Andrea Buzin waste of my insurance money

Coastal Dental in Tarpon Springs is amazing! I never thought I’d love going to the dentist but I do. After years of teeth pain and several dentists all trying to get more money out of me I found Coastal again! Was my children’s dentist when they were little and now mine. After three short pain free visits my teeth are on the way to being all healthy again and I can now eat solid food without pain! Can’t wait to see what they fix next!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Dr. Avilla is always pleasant, gentle and knowledgeable. I've recommended them to friends and they were very happy.

Originally gave a 5 stars review but after this recent incident where I've waited 2 months for an appointment and less than 48 hours I got rescheduled to a month later is unacceptable. I already requested time off from my job and it's too short noticed to have it changed. I had two tickets sent to the office (now going onto the third) with no response relating to this change. I'm incredibly disappointed. I can understand a sudden emergency but to push back another month after such a short notice really shows a disrespect towards your clients time. I advise you to look into their BBB score.

Best dental office and people ever. It would be a sad day if I had to go to a different dentist.
Edit: Which I did, I moved to MO for a year and Indeed I was very sad to lose this dentist, true story.glad to be with this dentist after becoming local again.

I moved to the area and needed a new dentist. I made an opt which I had to wait 3 weeks for and had to take day off work. The afternoon before I get a text that my appt was as cancelled because they did not have my insurance information. However, I did in fact call with my insurance information not once, but twice. Clearly those staff answering phones are incompetent. I found it unprofessional to text and not call if there was some issue on their end. Now I am looking for another dentist through no fault of my own. They have extremely poor business practices. Do NOT waste your time like I did!

It was a very pleasant experience, as a new patient. The entire staff is very friendly, accommodating and competent.
