Have taken residents from an area memory care and the office was a mess! Constantly running behind, had to have multiple visits to fix issues, when resident was in pain - still rough in the care they gave. Had to do multiple impressions because they didn’t put enough clay in the mold. Couldn’t mix adhesive because “someone took the directions out of the box” and then they tried to wing it - only to not work and have to do over and cause more pain. Would not suggest!

I'm not much of a complainer, but this place should not be rated anything above 2 stars. I went for a checkup and cleaning. They let you sign one price but give you different price out the door. Not all employees speak English. They charge $10 every time you come in for PPE? Every time I went to the dentist they had gloves and masks and never charged me for it. Are they using any special PPE- NO. The place is not very clean too. My wish for this place is to get lots of retraining if anyone is interested in making it better.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed & thats what lead me to this review. My husband and I were new patients this month. Scheduled for a typical exam- when I came in for the exam I was offered a few screening services. I declined what I thought would be extra service including the screening for the oral cancer. She told me some other screening had to be done to complete the exam and reassured I "only" have to pay $23 for that because the insurance company pays the other portion - so we continued the exam. After this I had my teeth cleaning service scheduled and one more service - totaling 3 services all together. After both me and my husband completed all of our dental visits we come to find out we owed WAY more money than what we were quoted on paper. I called my insurance company only to find out my service for "panaromic conjuction" was not covered which was what the lady assured I would only be paying $23 for that when i didnt want to do it in the first place anyways if it wasnt required. I understand that I should be aware of services that are and not covered by my insurance - but I came in for a typical yearly exam with understanding that my insurance covers 2 exams a year - nothing out of the ordinary and only to find a spendy surprise bill. I discussed it with kathy who worked there for 20+ years finding out pre-authorizations are not necessary for new patients and when they submit the claims - they do not see exactly what the insurance will cover. That left me wondering how they even get certain numbers for patient quotes in the first place. I have never had issues with dental offices giving quotes for visits that were so off for such basic visits. I've worked for years in the customer service industry and when it comes to patients and potential charges - there should be a clear communication of it. Unfortunately the staff here didnt explain things clearly as its their responsibility and misquoted my husband and I multiple times. So disappointed - and I do not recommend this office. Had much better, professional experiences with my previous dental services.

This place is the worst dental office I've ever been to. The ONLY thing it has going for it is the dentist is really personable. The office practices are a joke though.

You can't get a simple cleaning. Every visit the hygienist looks at your teeth/gums and assesses them. In her subjective opinion she determines whether or not you are eligible for a cleaning even though your insurance covers it. It's their choice to give you one. If she feels like the practice needs extra money that day, they'll refuse to give you that cleaning that you made the appointment for and require you to get what they call a "deep cleaning". What's that? Oh it's $500 and isn't covered by insurance. You cannot refuse it. They won't give you a regular cleaning like I've gotten every 6 months for my entire life at other dental offices.

And I know that it's all a money ploy because they got my husband with the deep cleaning bill last year. We paid it assuming it was a one time thing. But paying that much money opened my eyes. I started flossing REGULARLY. So tell me, how is it that since going there for a year now, I had 2 regular cleanings and I've been flossing regularly, that my teeth have deteriorated? I've flossed more in the past year than I have in my life. When I questioned it she showed me my initial assessment that reflected better numbers. Well I can tell you I was not flossing back then.maybe she was in a better mood that day and gave me good scores? It's literally her opinion of your teeth. Not even the doctor's. So in other words I just proved that their little teeth assessment joke is just a way to drain your money. I'm finding a new dentist.

I couldn't even get past the secretary to get an appt. I dont know if the girl had a problem understanding but it has never taken me that much frustration to just set an initial appt. Moving on

Absolutely terrible service. Multiple messages left on over billing but no returned calls. Blatant HIPPA violations-sending medical records without authorization to other businesses. I dont know how this origination is not being investigated and prosecuted. Just dont use this company for anything, and definitely dont share any personal or medical information with them as they seem to have no concept of privacy or legal constraints when sharing your personal information and/or patient history.

I have been a pt at Coast Dental for seven years. I drive from Palatka to see the best hygienist in the world! And I enjoy Mrs. Kathy, office manager. The entire office staff is great. The office is very warm and inviting.

If you're planning to call for an appointment be prepared, the receptionist is very rude. My insurance shows Coast Dental as a provider but while trying to figure out details I gave up on the idea. Worst first impression.

Went for the complimentary cleaning, after an x-ray and more services I supposedly needed before they would touch my teeth, I finally had enough and left feeling ripped off without anyone touching my teeth.

If you have a lot of money, then they would be a good fit for you.they wanted $435 to clean my teeth.i'm 70 yrs.old and go to see my very 6 months and it cost me $80 for a check up and a cleaning.so if you don't want to spend a lot of money with them, then you need to look somewhere!

I have been going to Coast Dental for many years. The staff is always professional, when i get work done they are very informative and thurough as they go, which is very comforting. Dentist has a great bedside manner. Also on the business end, they let me know all my options, and take the time to give me a full explanation of what i need. An all around great experience.
